I want Hadley Holiday. In fact, I’ve been obsessed with her for months. But a good girl like her would never be with a scoundrel like me.My reputation is shot. Asking Hadley to fake a relationship with me to improve my image would be the easy way out, but it could ruin her. No thanks. I’ve got a better idea, and my plan will work perfectly as long as I can keep my hands to myself.I can be a good … myself.
I can be a good boy.
Really, I can.
Until I can’t.
Untrainable is a standalone romantic comedy in the Night Time Television Series.

This romantic comedy had me reading this story as fast as I could. I simply loved the chemistry between the characters and the story development. The author doesn’t take herself or her characters too seriously. There is a light hearted and heart warming tone to the entire story. I really appreciated how the story developed and the characters developed as well. Just a fun read that I will gladly read over and over again.
Untrainable written by Jamie Schlosser. This story is a mix of comedy and romance when They gets caught peeing on a hydrant by the paparazzi he earns himself a nice nickname and decided he needs a break from all the hype. Until he sees Hadley, then he decided she looks worth the risk of exposing himself again. But will she see him as worth the risk… Jamie Schlosser has a very creative and unique writing style that make you connect with the characters right from the beginning. This story will pull you in and make you want to read more because it’s such a light and easy read.
Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser is a sweet and unique rom com story that will melt your heart. The characters are plenty loveable and their witty banter had me laughing out loud and the chemistry is just sizzling. This is the second book I have read from Jamie and I like her writing style which is easy to read and simplistic. She writes the perfect blend of humour and emotion and weaves it so beautifully and easily. There is more to Theo, than what the press portray. His hard and emotional past has left its mark and he is down on his luck. All he needs is a second chance and hopefully what he has planned will get him there. Hadley is being offered a chance of a lifetime but why her? Will she accept the offer and end up with much more than she bargained for? This book has a delight and I am looking forward to reading more from her.
What is about this story? Now, don’t get me wrong. I like Hadley. She was a strong, assuming heroine who you can relate to as your best friend. But who stole the story? Theo. Yes, he is a bad boy. He needs someone to reign him in. But damnit – his heart shines through the pages. I dare you to not fall in love with his character. His character arc moves with his realization that he carries a heavy burden that gets swept under the antics. Don’t worry – it’s not one of those stories that turns sad. No, in all of Theo’s flaws, his self realization makes him human and appealing.
As with Untamable, Ms. Schlosser introduces secondary characters involved in scenes that keep you turning the pages to figure just how this is going to turn out without bodily injury. If you love a great rom-com with heart and heat, don’t just borrow but buy the book. This will be one that I pick up time and again when I need something to lighten the day and leave a smile on my face.
Jamie Schlosser’s latest novel, Untrainable, is the epitome of a romantic comedy. This author has gone above and beyond in providing a story full of hi-jinks, creative and witty retorts and a fun story line. The cast of characters were superb, from Theo and Hadley to the supporting characters – each of every single one was perfectly added to compliment the story unfolding. Jamie Schlosser is a powerful story teller and her quick wit, sassy and strong characters are one of my favorites to read. In Untrainable, the theme of the story is quirky, cute and highly entertained. You will not be able to get through this story without chuckling and or full on belly laughs. For an author to play on emotions and have them come at pivotal moments in the story, that is talent and fantastic technique.
Untrainable A Romantic Comedy by Jamie Schlosser
Five Stars
I laughed a little too hard while reading this story. The author combined a serious issues with some comedic moments. People are judged by everything the do when they’re in the spot light. Even when they leave that life everything they do is watched. I really felt bad for Theo but another part of me felt like he was just whining. There were multiple solutions for his issue. I just think he was so use to playing that role that it was hard to change. Family ties are such a hard thing to maintain when you hold so much pain and anger inside you. I loved these characters though. Hadley was really sweet but I also want to say naïve. She took life too seriously. They balanced each other out in my opinion. Hadley was serious and Theo was a joke.
Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser was a fun, feel good read that had my eyes glued to the pages.
Not my first read by this author, so I already kind of had an idea of what I was getting into. I will tell you that I was not disappointed, this book has the same easy reading as the others and, once again I was pulled into a pretty fun story.
The only thing that I will say, is that, and I did mention this in a another review for this author, was how crazy good looking the MC’s are. I’m talking god like, perfection isn’t the word. For me it was a little too much and I would have like them looking more, you know, human. Flaws are good to have, it makes them more believable as real world characters.
Other then that, the overall story is super fun.. okay yes I said that like three times now, but when there’s something good, there are only few words that will get the point across. But in all seriousness, this story has a nice easy flow, smooth rhythm, comedic witty banter and, a couple you can’t help but root for. It’s that feel good book that makes you all warm and gooey on the inside.
With that being said, this is where I leave you, I’m not going to say anymore in fear of spoilers. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will fall for this crazy, cute couple, and all their shenanigans.
Happy Reading

Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser
5 out of 5 stars
Ahhhh Jamie Schlosser! First, this author is almost always a 5 star author for me. She never fails to produce a fantastically written story with great detail, amazing characters and some strong chemistry.
Hadley and Theo are amazing characters. Their witty, easy going banter is super smooth, fast paced and effortless. Hadley is 22, smart, and doing all that she can to change where her life is going. An accountant by trade, but unprofessional dog-trainer by night, she has found herself in the unique circumstance of being one of the stars of a new reality TV show. One where she takes a washed up bad boy and try to correct his terrible, dog gone bad behavior.
Theo has the reputation of a bad boy of the worst sort. Not one where he rolls his way through all the bed sheets of every woman he has laid eyes on, but one where he is a bad attitude about everything and doesn’t care about what damage he leaves in his wake.
These two had chemistry both in and out of the sheets. This is a romance novel through and through with good helping of redemption thrown in there for good measure. Hadley and Theo make for two perfectly flawed characters who bring out the best in each other and with that, they help each other grow and become better.
I cannot recommend this book enough. The highest praise I can offer a book and an author is to re-read a book again, and this one is most assuredly on the re-read list.
Untrainable, A Romantic Comedy, by Jamie Schlosser
5-stars
Hilariously addictive and romantic. I absolutely could not stop reading this novel. I loved both Theo and Hadley as they opened up to each other while creating a reality TV show. Their wit and humor had me literally laughing out loud. I also felt that this novel really encouraged me as a reader to reach out and support animal shelters. I loved how they tied in the whole Theo-dog thing in as if they were attempting to train him. Such an excellent read!
As of NOW I’ve read every book published by Jamie, and what I’ve found is all of her books are the same. Every book. Every story follows the same principal. The hero must make you laugh at times. Yell a few others. And yes at times, shed a tear. The heroine also has a job. Her job consists of making you fall in love with her too. But what I like most about this author is that all of her stories are relatable in some way. We can each find a piece of ourselves in one character or the other. Untrainable is no different. Theo comes off as a tabloids wet dream. He seems to do all he can to make this week’s front page. To him, it’s what he most good at. Screwing up. But on yet another lonely night, he sees her. Right there in his living room. Right there on his t.v. screen an idea pops into his head. Hadley has always been an overachiever. Appearing on a t.v. talent show wasn’t anywhere in the normal for her, but that grand prize was to good of a chance to pass up. Too bad she didn’t win. But when another chance comes along, she takes it. Together they find that sometimes, if your very lucky, what you needed all along, was right there waiting.
Jamie Schlosser had me at, “I WANT HADLEY HOLIDAY.” I’m not even kidding. That’s the very first sentence in this amazing story and she hooked me good.
I simply could not get enough of Theodore Legend and Hadley Holiday. He’s got a bad attitude and an even worse reputation. She’s America’s sweetheart. You would think they wouldn’t work together, but they were the perfect match.
Theo is an absolute dream. Complete swoonworthy. I dare you to say the opposite! He just wants to be loved. Is that so bad? And he is obsessed with Hadley. He wants her BAD. And sweet Hadley, how I adore her. She had Theo’s back no matter what. She refused to let anyone, even Theo himself, make him feel as if he was unworthy.
Reading this story was like being on my very own emotional roller coaster ride. One minute I was full-on belly laughing, the next I had to cool off because, damn it, Theo is freaking HOT! That’s just a fact. And Jamie managed to do what I didn’t think was going to be possible with this book, SHE MADE ME FREAKING CRY! I wasn’t prepared for that. Nicely played, lady.
Again, I’m risking sounding like a broken record, but Jamie has completely, without a doubt, outdone herself with this gem of a book. Untrainable will definitely be featured on my Top Reads of 2018 list.
This is a romantic comedy that was creative and fun to read. The characters pulled me into their story and made me feel as if I was right there with them. Their story is engaging and kept me reading until the end. Theo can’t seem to stay out of the tabloids and Hadley wants a career in showbiz. What will happen when they do a reality show together? Is it possible to have a future together? These two have such great chemistry and I loved their relationship. I highly recommend reading this book.
Untrainable is my first book by Jamie Schlosser and it definitely won’t be my last! The cover and blurb totally caught my eye and I’m happy to report Jamie is a new author on my must read list!!
Theodore Legend is the “bad boy” around town but little does everyone know exactly WHY he behaves the way he does. Looking for a way to refresh his image, Theo comes up with a last ditch effort and it all rests upon Hadley Holiday.
Hadley is a strong and determined woman who knows what she wants, and that is to be on television. She just doesn’t quite know how that is going to happen, until a brand new show about teaching an old dog new tricks presents itself to her…along with her gorgeous co-star, Theo. Their connection and chemistry is immediate but its all for show..or is it?
For one of the last books on my ARC list this year, Untrainable has made its way to #1 on my favorite list! I adore everything about this book. From the first chapter, I was completely smitten with Theo and when Hadley made her entrance into the story, I was captivated with their story! One minute I was in tears learning about Theo’s backstory and the next, I was laughing hysterically at the theatrics of Hadley’s family! Theo and Hadley’s story was refreshing and different, a heartwarming rom com that was a perfect way to round out 2018! I highly recommend this book!
This book is hilarious. I love a good rom-com. Add in animals and all the better.
Untrainable stars Theo and Hadley. Theo is a down on his luck reality show star. Hadley won third place in a very popular TV talent show and is known as American’s sweetheart. Theo is all over the tabloids for ONE mistake he made ONE time, months ago that the media keeps bringing up. His solution? A reality TV show starring him and Hadley, where Hadley (a dog trainer) trains Theo-Dog to be a good boy. What follows is an amazing story of laughter, pain, acceptance, and love.
Jamie wrote an amazing story that I’m sure everyone will love. I highly recommend!
I love Jamie Schlosser books and this one might be there on top as my favorite of hers. She has a way to hooking you from the very first page.
I loved Theo and Hadley. We meet Theo who has the worst name in show business and is currently trying to get back in. He grew up in a reality tv show and is still very much in the public eye. He has this idea and needs Hadley to help him out. Hadley is America’s sweetheart after being the runner up on a talent competition and wants to stay in show business. They both need each other but for different reasons.
The connection between the two character is instantaneous but it works for them. I felt like they were both a bit lost in life (for different reasons). Not only was the book light and funny but it had a load of heart too. Miss Schlosser has a way of bringing these characters alive and launching them straight to your heart! I love all her books and this one is a definite must read!
It’s hard to believe that this is only the second book that I’ve read from this author because her writing is one of a kind and I found myself completely in love with every second. I totally need to read them all as soon as possible, especially since they are all on my kindle right now!
Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser was a fun and sweet romantic comedy that had me captivated right from the first sentence: “I want Hadley Holiday.” Seriously what the perfect opening to this phenomenal story that had me entertained for hours. I couldn’t get enough of Theodore “Theo-Dog” Legend, the bad boy in the eyes of the paparazzi and Hadley Holiday, America’s sweetheart. This story will warm your heart and have you cheering these two on towards their happily ever after. Their back-and-forth banter was oh so entertaining and is always one of the best parts of any good romcom.

4.5 Cranky Stars
What could possibly happen when a reality tv washup and a runner up on a talent show collide? Lots and lots of laugh out loud moments and parts that make your heart swoon. Seriously it’s a match made in heaven.
Hadley was a runner up on a talent show where she did tricks with her dog Matilda. She’s an animal lover through and through and could have used that money. When her agent comes to her about a reality show with Theodore Legend and she is to “train” him to be a better person she thinks this is all a joke. When she agrees and meets Theo she feels their instant connection. She starts to train him like a dog with a water bottle and positive reinforcement and treats of homemade pie.
Theo is trying to shake (pun intended) the title of Theo-Dog. He peed on a fire hydrant in a drunken rage and it has followed him since. When he sees Hadley on TV he is drawn to her and does some light stalking. He even proposes a show idea with her and it is approved. Now he has to try and be a better version of himself for Hadley, but Theo is very self-destructive and self-sacrificing when those he loves are in trouble.
I will say this book was an interesting. I mean I would never think to put a washed up destructive reality tv star and a dog trainer together but it works. They are so darn sweet together. To watch them fall in love is cute. Her squirting him constantly with a water bottle like a bad cat is rather funny and oddly affective. Maybe I should try that on my kids and husband. I like that he was redeemable and mended fences. The prank wars at her family house were hilarious and that potato bar sounds like something from my dreams. This is my second book by this author and she is quickly becoming a go to for laughs and heartfelt moments that make me sigh with happiness.
Pretty sure everyone knows by now that I’m a huge Jamie Schlosser fan, actually I was dubbed a Jamie Schlosser Super Fan, and I totally am. I love her books, they are always so beautifully written and heartfelt. And this one was no different, as with all of her books, we get all the emotions, so heartfelt, I teared up a bit a few times, because she always has the most endearing underdogs and my heart goes out to each one. Enough of my gushy rambling, here’s my actual review.
Theodore aka Theo-dog is an ex-reality star, that had a mentally exhausting childhood. He sees our girl, Hadley, on a talent show and develops the biggest crush on this down-to-earth-wear-your-heart-on-your-sleeve sweet do-gooder. Honestly, these two just fit and I loved everything about their relationship. He develops an idea for another reality show to get to work with the girl of his dreams and help out his reputation.
We get a great love story. With a lot of sweet and sexy times. Her crazy, but absolutely loveable family, that embraces Theo and welcomes him with open arms. They have 24 hours of the funniest pranks. This book will have you laughing your ass off, and one of the pranks that Theo pulls is one of the funniest scenes I have read…like spit out your coffee funny. This is a safe read, no ow, a little om drama, he just can’t take no for an answer, but they handle it. A swoon worthy alpha that would do anything for his girl and a heroine that is sweet, but fierce in her protection of her man. A sweet epilogue and an hea.
Theo has a bad rep with the tabloids, and Hadley has yet to find out how destructive they can be. I loved the witty banter between these two characters, and together they complement each other, and are complete. This is a well written flawless story, which is heartbreaking, sweet, humorous, sexy, and all round entertaining read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy for my honest review.
I haven’t read a true rom-com in a bit and this one hit the spot. Untrainable is my first read by Jamie Schlosser and I really enjoyed it. Tabloid regular and has been reality star, Theodore “Theo-Dog” Legend, who is only famous for being a colossal screw up, is trying to shake the bad reputation and get his his life back on track when he has an idea. Hadley Holiday, is working to get her life on track too. After being a runner up on a national talent show for her dog training routine, Hadley is trying to figure out how to pay the bills. Untrainable is a funny, sweet story about two people finding to their path in life and are brought together in the process. You will laugh, you will love and you will root her their HEA.
