I want Hadley Holiday. In fact, I’ve been obsessed with her for months. But a good girl like her would never be with a scoundrel like me.My reputation is shot. Asking Hadley to fake a relationship with me to improve my image would be the easy way out, but it could ruin her. No thanks. I’ve got a better idea, and my plan will work perfectly as long as I can keep my hands to myself.I can be a good … myself.
I can be a good boy.
Really, I can.
Until I can’t.
Untrainable is a standalone romantic comedy in the Night Time Television Series.

OMG this rom-com was so fun and sweet. I loved every word. This is a story you don’t want to miss out on!
First time reader of this author, looking for something light and funny, I found Untrainable amongst my many downloaded books. I loved this story of the bad boy redemption and the stoic country girl taking a giant leap into the city. The world of reality tv is not necessarily real, it’s scripted and portrays what sells to the viewer. The puns and laughter felt real and not forced between them and Christmas with Holiday’s is one you won’t want to miss.
Theo-dog Legend isn’t new to reality tv, his family were famous for their very own program. The perfect family program was anything but once the cameras were switched off and the audience is out of sight. Theo has a crush on Hadley Holiday a dog trainer who was a contestant on another reality program. When an idea he concocts for a reality program to not only meet her but get to know her strikes.
Hadley is offered the opportunity to train Theo-dog as part of a new show on NTT. She is unemployed and needs this job, but doesn’t understand why she has been chosen. On the first day she arrives at his unit to find an extremely hot but hungover mess. His unit is a brothel, he reeks of whiskey and a Hadley uses her freshly baked pie as an incentive to clean up. Theo and Hadley throw banter around and it’s obvious they have an unbridled chemistry.
I enjoyed the characters a lot. The end was a bit stretchy and boring.
I loved Theo’s story and am so glad Jamie gave him a key role in Aiden’s love story. Aiden and Corrie, la sigh! Who would have ever thought two 21 year olds would be virgins and unintentionally saving themselves for the one they never knew would cross paths again? There is nothing to not like about this book!
4 Theo-Dog Stars!! What a funny and cute story.
This is a stand alone rom com about a dog trainer and misunderstood bad boy.
.
Hadley is a 22 year old dog trainer who just happened to catch the eye of 24 year old bad boy Theo Legend. Theo comes from a wealthy family and let’s say he is the “black sheep” of the family. These two hit it off from the very beginning. I love the banter.
I laughed my butt off at this book. I even teared up a bit. This book was well rounded and damn good. I think what irked me a little is how hard Theo was trying. The poor guy. But the great thing is Hadley is one hell of a chick and she knew just what to do.
This is a great read. I know from reading ALL of this authors work that when she writes, there will be tears, laughs and love.
**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser is the first book I have read by this author and it was truly a gem! The characters were funny and relatable in so many ways. I found myself constantly amused while reading it, that it played like a sitcom in my head.
This book had it’s share of romance mixed in with a tiny bit of angst, but it was a fun way to spend the afternoon. Theodore Legend aka Theo-dog is a strong male character that has been through the ringer. He’s completely killed his career with his boyish antics and bad behavior. Enter in the shy, sweet, always does the right thing, Hadley who is a dog trainer hired to “train” Theo-dog and you have all the ingredients for a laugh out loud romance comedy.
The author’s writing style is smooth and one of the things I appreciated the most is the lack of extreme over detail (the grass was white with just a hint of yellow from the hint of orange sky). You could see each scene perfectly without it being overdone. You can tell that this author is doing what she was made to do as everything seamlessly flowed.
The secondary characters, especially Hadley’s family added such wit and I loved all their shenanigans of an everyday family. It brought up memories of my own childhood. The intimate scenes were done well and with class but still had a big amount of steaminess to them. Overall, I would highly recommend this book for a fun filled read you won’t soon forget.
Loved!! Laugh out funny!
I absolutely adored this book. I laughed so hard my side hurt. I need to be in the Holiday family because Christmas was my favorite part of the book and I would love to be in on the pranks.
I loved the characters. The story line. I just loved everything about this amazing RomCom.
Theo and Hadley were meant to be.
Highly recommended!
Untrainable By Jamie Schlosser. The characters in this story completely stole my heart and ran off with it. From page one the author had me completely hooked on Theo and Hadley. They just have a connection that leaps off the pages and plays out in front of you. This author is quickly making it to the top of my must read authors because the stories are always written well with relatable characters. I crawl inside and never want to leave. I love a book that makes me laugh. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it. Can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next time!!!
Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser had me hooked from the moment I started reading it. There was something about Theo from the very beginning that made me fall for him, it may have been the fact he’s a Cubs fan. As I learned more about his life I felt like I needed mother him.
Hadley couldn’t have been a better fit for Theo for so many reasons. Her love of dogs or the underdog had me. She is a great person and it was obvious from the beginning.
My only complaint is the fact Ms. Schlosser called the Cubs home park Wrigley Park instead of Wrigley Field. I’m not sure how many readers would have caught that, but as a Cubs fan it bugged me. But other than me being me I loved it and I’m hoping to see another book featuring Theo, Hadley and Aiden.
Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser
Stars- 5
This story is a sweet love story with a splash of redemption, healing, and humor. I enjoyed reading about Theo and Hadley. The characters have great chemistry and matched well! I love that this story is told from both characters point of view. I feel that I get a better grasp of the characters when the story is told from both point of view. I feel that Jamie Schlosser did a great job with writing about relationships that our characters have and how it affects our characters. This is what I really loved about this book, and I thought this made the whole story more than just a love story!
Untrainable in a novel by Jamie Schlosser. This is my fifth novel by this author.
After seeing Hadley Holiday in a television show, Theo Legend can’t seem to get her out of his head or his dreams. Known as a bad boy and in need on money, he thinks of an idea to get both.
Hadley Holiday may not have won on The Final Showdown but she wants a career in show business and when she offered a job by Theo, she takes it.
Theo may not believe in love at first sight, but there is definitely something there between the two of them.
I always grab any book by this author and was not disappointed. I was hoping for a new book in The Good Guys series but this was a really cute novel set in reality television. Something I used to read when I was younger and gave me better insight how things happen behind the scene.
For anyone looking for a cute quick read, I recommend this novel. It’s the perfect book to start off the year with.
Important
Reading the blurb for Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser you might expect this to be a typical good girl tames bad boy kind of story but it’s sooooo much more than that. Not saying that I don’t like a typical good girl/bad boy story, I do, but I really LOVED Untrainable.
Theo-Dog Legend is portrayed in the media as a total bad boy. The ‘dog’ added to his name when, in one of his lower moments he publically peed on a fire hydrant. But what the public don’t know is that behind the public persona, the real Theo is nothing like the ‘public’ Theo. In a bid to resurrect his reality tv career, Theo joins with Hadley Holiday who had won the hearts of the nation with her dog trick act on a national talent show. Can Hadley tame the dog within Theo?
Brought together to film the new reality tv show, Hadley soon realises that Theo is nothing like the public persona. His reality is far from that which was portrayed on the hit reality TV show Living with Legends which was a camera on the wall reality show about Theo, his famous parents and his brother Aiden.
This is an amazing story and I totally adored the characters of both Theo and Hadley. It was heart-breaking to read just what Theo’s real life had actually been like. On the flip side it was so heart-warming when things turned for the better for Theo and he realised that he was capable of being loved.
I had never read any of this author’s work before and I’m so glad I took the plunge and read this book. Definitely worth 5 stars!
Untrainable- Jamie Schlosser
5-stars
I’ve started this year off with a bang! Untrainable is one incredible Rom-Com! I read this book in one sitting as I got so wrapped up in the story that I didn’t want to stop! From the very beginning Theo held my heart, he was funny, sweet, caring and thoughtful, which made him the perfect book boyfriend.
I can’t even count the amount of times I caught myself giggling as I followed this storyline. It was highly enjoyable the whole way through. This was my first book by this author but it sure won’t be my last, I can’t wait to dive into my next book by this author!
I would absolutely recommend this rom-com to anyone looking for their next romance!
So good! I loved that this was such a sweet story that was pretty low on angst. The real Theo was as awesome as his parents were terrible. Hadley was adorable and her family was the best! I found me a new author to stalk. Now I need to find the time to read the rest of her books!
While Jamie Schlosser isn’t a completely new author to me, this is only the third book of hers that I have read yet, very much so my absolute favorite. This was a perfect little afternoon read. I felt as if I had stepped onto the set of a ideal Hallmark movie. Bonus being it had the dash of holiday flair to put it in the category if you wish. I really wouldn’t limit to a holiday read though.
Untrainable really thought outside the box of typical rom-coms. Our MC’s do meet up under a funny and awkward situation and overtly find themselves tasked to work together against some unforeseen obstacle yes, but this had just enough of the more to make it grab you and keep you hooked from beginning to end.
So ‘fetch’ a copy today of Untrainable and laugh your afternoon away as you fall in love all over again with Hadley and Theo- dog. I can promise it will be one that you won’t forget for a long time to come! I can’t wait to see what else comes next from Ms. Schlosser.
I never knew it was possible to fit so many dog references into one book, but Jamie Schlosser made it happen! Untrainable is a hilarious and heartwarming romance between a man how has lost his way and a woman who was just starting to find her own.
The story centers around a washed-up reality star Theo Legend. After seeing Hadley on a reality TV Show he knew that she was meant to be his. After obsessing over how to make her his he came up with the perfect plan, create a show where they are both the stars. She will help him reform his image while he tried to get the girl. However what neither one of them planned on was the instant attraction they had toward one another.
Hadley thought her world was coming to an end when she lost her job at an accounting firm so she decided to throw caution to the wind and audition for a reality talent show. Although she didn’t win, she captured the hearts of America and one washed up actor. All it took was one call to set her life in a brand new direction that she never expected.
Will Hadley be able to teach Theo some new tricks or will their story end in nothing but heartbreak. I am not one to spoil so you will just have to read it and find out.
What an adorable book! Untrainable is a romantic comedy written by Jamie Schlosser. I’ve ready Jamie’s other series, which were awesome! This book is just as good as those other ones. This one is even more adorable! This book follows Theodore “Theo” Legend. He is famous because is family had a reality tv series and he was considered the “Black Sheep” of the family. Then his parents were killed in a car accident. Hadley Holiday is famous because she was on a talent show on tv with her dog Matilda and made it to third place. Theo is now broke and the laughing stock of the press. He needs to get on the good side of the public. But he also wants Hadley too. So what does he do? He comes up with a realty show comedy where Hadley “trains” him to be a decent human being in public! She isn’t so sure of the idea but goes along with it because she was banking on winning the competition. I love the chemistry between these two! They are so different but it works for them. It doesn’t hurt that the both of them are pretty gorgeous and they both are attracted to each other. This book really is pretty funny and so sweet! I love Jaime’s writing style. It sucks you in and makes you think you are in a rom-com movie! I absolutely adore this book and I would definitely recommend a good book. You will not be sorry you bought this book!
UNTRAINABLE is a fantastic rom-com that I read in one sitting. The main characters are delightful from beginning to end. They are multi-dimensional, well developed and great to read. In addition to tickling my funny bone, this story tugged at my heart strings.
There are a few scenes where I laughed so hard I woke my husband up. I really enjoy this author and hope this series continues with the brother’s story being told next.
A reminder, don’t shop – please adopt. Most communities have overflowing shelters that house animals you could fall in love with.
Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser
Five Stars
Untrainable is a Rom Com that grabbed my attention on the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. Jamie Schlosser is on my automatic TBR list. I have enjoyed many of her books, but I have to say this one is my new favorite. For me, a book that can bring out my emotions, like laughing out loud or bursting into tears, is how I rate my five stars. This book did both. The witty dialogue and the sexual chemistry between Theo-Dog Legend and Hadley Holiday was what brought this story together. It was an emotional roller coaster for me, but I really didn’t want to get off. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a really good romancewith all the feels.i can’t wait to read what Ms. Schlosser has in store for us next.
Love, Love, Love. This book was everything and more.
Untrainable was filled with laughs, banter, passion, romance and a whole lot of brilliance, it was also sweet and emotional and I couldn’t help but love each character. This was captivating and such a wonderful read that I couldn’t rate enough! I absolutely loved everything about this read, this author has a brilliant writing style that totally connects the reader to the storyline and the amazing characters she has created.
This romantic comedy was brilliant from the start, I couldn’t put it down and I read it in one sitting. I was truly captivated with this read and couldn’t put it down, it had me laughing out loud, grinning from ear to ear and even feel some of their pain in certain situations through this book, maybe even a few tears. But this was an amazing comedy romance read that I would read over and over again.
With that being said there were secondary characters in this read that most defiantly deserve their own book such as Aiden I would love to read his story.
But for one thing can we just point out how perfect Hadley & Theo are together, they have an immediate connection that draws us in as readers and each other, they have such a real and raw relationship you can see both of them taking things from each other and helping each other on a journey. I love the reassurance and love Hadley gives Theo that he truly needs, and loved seeing the playful and more confident side to Hadley come out thanks to Theo, they really do bring out the best in each other and I loved reading it!
This is a read not to be missed, and will be loved by all, I cannot wait to see what else this author brings to this series and hope this isn’t the last we read of Hadley & Theo’s story.
