It’s official… I’m the biggest loser in Haven Falls… FML!Things couldn’t possibly get worse from here. Everyone leaves me. My mom, my friends… Kaylah. It’s like the curse of Henley Bronx. Forever alone, and that’s no exaggeration. I’m all I’ve got in this world. Just me, myself, and I… and my goldfish, Frog.Who would have thought that throwing a bowl of spaghetti Bolognese all over the school bad … over the school bad boy would change it all? I sure as hell didn’t. If anything, I was expecting a very different outcome.
Noah Cage. What can I say? He’s the pack leader. He stormed in, tattooed up with muscles for days, desperate to prove he’s not like the rest. He saved me while sweeping me right off my feet, but really… I think I saved him too.
He wormed his way in and brought love, happiness, and friendship with him and now the thought of losing him tears me apart, but if my track record is anything to go by, he’ll leave me, just like everyone else. It’s inevitable.
I’d give anything for Noah Cage to prove me wrong.
Will the Henley Bronx curse return once again to take away my only happiness or do I finally have what it takes to turn this bad boy my way?

A new series from Sheridan Anne- so glad for more after I DEVOURED the Broken Hill High series. Haven Falls is an interconnected world- with some overlapping characters. Broken Hill fans will remember Noah as a racer in the series. This is Noah and Henley’ story.
Like BH, we have angsty, drama, and new adult tension galore. What I’m loving about Sheridan Anne is that her teenagers are teenagers. Sure, they get into some very adult situations and act much older than they are, but emotionally they are what I expect of teens- they’re brash, unpredictable, and at times immature. And so dramatic. (SMH at readers complaining about teenagers being immature and yet in other books complain about teenagers seeming too old, haha). Moral of the story- it is ANGSTY galore. Our characters are immature at times and make stupid mistakes, and they are emotional.
Like other SA heroines I’ve read thus far, Henley has a damaged heart and abandonment issues, multiple times over. I love how tough Henley is, however- she’s fierce, determined, and doesn’t take prisoners. You love and respect her quickly, even though she sometimes hides behind the image she wants to project about herself.
I loved Noah- just like with BH, at first I wasn’t sure how I really felt about Noah- the connection seems too fast, too sudden, but you soon realize he, too, is a visage- and he has a lot of heart underneath that image. Sometimes I wanted to smack him- I was frustrated by his decisions, even though I understood them and they came from a place of good.
I love also love how prolific SA is- we don’t have to wait for long between books- which means I can read with abandon and not have to worry that I’ll be on a cliff for too long or that I’ll forget key details between stories. I love the angsty, young love, adult problems with emotional teenagers drama that I find with SA- always entertaining, always get some sweet and heat, and always on my toes!
I truly and absolutely love this authors writing and books and this is sooo amazing. Henley and Noah are so great. Noah is the school bad boy and leader of his pack of friends. Henley doesnt take crap from anyone at her school and when she doesn’t back down, Noah has his eye on her. He’s intrigued with her because shes real and tells you how it is and strong. I love how they include her and shes not alone anymore. I could not put down and can not wait for more.
OMG! I am loving Haven Falls!! Henley and Noah are so cute together, almost as cute as Nate and Tora!! I literally felt like my heart broke into millions of pieces many times with every thing Henley went through alone and more so with Noah. I hope that Ms. Anne keeps giving us the angst and more wild rides with Henley and Noah!!
The great storyline and the wonderful characters made this book one amazing read! I highly recommend reading this fantastic book!

Excellent and exciting beginning of the series
I love Anne Sheridan’s stories, which, while focusing on young adults, still have characters with strong character. I loved the nice girl who is a rebel dormant, and the bad boy less rebellious than he seems. Their verbal changes, the way that Noah removes Henley from her gloomy life, stuck in her loneliness since the departure of her friends, her reputation … it’s excellent and exciting, all mixed up in the high school psychodrama.
