Meghan is trying to plan a big event to help her struggling bar. She used to have a friends with benefits with Jason but she had to call it off to assist her father when he got ill. Now she has to make sure this event got off to a great start to help her stay in business. But problem after problem occurs so she seeks help from Jason. They both agree to keep things professional but they just can’t control their attraction. But who is causing all these problems and will they be able to work around all the issues (both personal and work related). Great story with a bit of suspense which I really liked. Their relationship was able to develop and you can tell they are falling in love rather than just having sex. Enjoyable story that I definitely recommend.

It is a full-length standalone novel. NO cheating, NO cliffhangers, and a guaranteed Happily-ever-after!

(Review with spoilers)
Great book. I loved it.
After her father’s death, Meghan has to take over the family business, the bar that her father ran since her mother’s death when she was a child. It’s hard to deal with her loss, and she moves away from Jason, with whom she had a secret relationship.
Jason understands that she needs space to overcome, and gives it to her, a detail she appreciates. But he can’t stand being without her and goes to see her to resume their relationship.
At the same time, Meghan needs to reform the bar in order to participate in events in the city and asks Jason for help. And she reminds him that, as long as they are working together, their relationship will be strictly professional. But they couldn’t be apart from each other.
Meghan is reunited with her ex husband, whom she left because he was abusive, and discovers that he is the one who makes things difficult for her to participate in these events. She, along with Jason, suspects her ex is not only legally boycotting her, but also attacking her.
I haven’t read any of the author’s previous books. It’s part of a series, but it’s not hard to follow Jason and Meghan’s story, and I want to read other couples’ stories.
I loved Jason and Megan. He is bossy, as Meghan says, but he respects her, gives her space when she needs it, has always listened to her, and is always there for her. Like her when he needs her after losing one of his friends. And, like him, she is also stubborn, she likes to do things her own way.
The two have gone from a purely sexual relationship to a much deeper relationship. They have fallen in love without realizing it, and it’s hard for them to have a serious conversation about what they are and what they want for the future. The two of them have been shying away from having a relationship for a variety of reasons. Before they were not prepared, and now they are.
I also liked the secondary characters very much. I loved Ryan, and I want to know more about him. And Dan, his current relationship, and his relationship with Jason.
I recommend it.
I received a complimentary ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.
In a few short pages this one goes from something super hot to super depressing. Meghan the new owner of the Foley’s Public House an Irish pub is trying to come to terms after a serious loss. From the start Jason has been there for Meghan even when she kind of shut him down. The question is will these two get together? This was a good romance nowhere is it clear sailing for these two so well done by the author. I enjoyed the characters. Jason is a bit of a card, but super sweet and a bit bossy too. This is not a short book so you will find the characters more developed. I enjoyed it very much. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Meghan and Jason had a friend’s with benefits relationship until it wasn’t enough.
I think bickering was their foreplay and they made such an interesting pair.

I enjoyed reading this book. It shows that when people die, greed really comes out. Destruction as well. It helps that there are honest people are there to help keep the peace. Her dad made a deal and then reneged. He was entitled to change his mind. The other party should have just been honest with her about the deal and then let her decide. She in turn asked for help when it really came down to the nitty gritty. She also found love in the end so it worked out because she got a another family out of it. Good deal.

4 Stars
Meghan and Jason has fun together for awhile. “Friends with Benefits” suited them and things were fine until Meghan’s dad became ill and she had to focus on him and saving her legacy, Foley’s Public House. When Meghan’s attempt to save her business is being undermined by someone from her past as well as unknown threats she turns to Jason and his restoration company to help. Of course lines get blurred and things get heated . When the risks to Meghan become more intense Jason and some of his buddies and brothers step in to help. If you want a good story with a sweet and sexy hero, stubborn and independent heroine and just enough suspense and mystery to keep you wondering, pick this up today!

Sassy and independent Meghan is used to standing on her own and it takes the death of her father to make her realize there is a loving community who is waiting in the wings to help her. This addition to this wonderful series is fraught with tempers, threats and love. I realy enjoyed this. The chemistry is off the charts and the friends are too.

Favorite Quotes:
Jason and Meghan had the most complicated uncomplicated non-relationship he’d ever been involved in, because when it came right down to it, he didn’t do relationships.
He hadn’t seen Chelsea in months, not since she’d gone to California to try her hand at getting a real modeling job, as opposed to just posing and making duck faces in the mirror for people on the internet… Her showing up with a bottle of champagne in each hand foretold of either a huge break or a giant breakdown…
I have to go see a woman about converting a detached garage into a ‘she shed’ … It’s like a man cave but girly. I predict a Pinterest nightmare, but the lady’s paying me.
“Pierce used to be a bouncer at Foley’s. He’s a sweetheart.” “A sweetheart that is capable of pulling my arms off and bludgeoning me with them. Jesus.” “Oh, he doesn’t do that stuff anymore… Usually.”
My Review:
This bickering couple generated enough sensual heat to set off fire sprinklers. Holy singed ceiling tiles! I enjoyed this couple. Meghan and Jason started off as friends with benefits, but despite her general crankiness and someone trying to ruin her business and end her life above ground, they developed into a much more profound, supportive, and satisfying level of squabbling and began relating to each other beyond the slap and tickle. The engaging storylines were well-crafted and populated with a large cast of interesting and oddly enticing characters. The narrative was well balanced between humor, steam, and a variety of stressors and tense situations and was also active and highly eventful with lashings of intrigue. I am eager to see what Ms. Kerr does with the rest of this group of quirky friends.
We all have loved us some Jason and Meghan, and lets be honest especially Jason because that boy is hilarious and smexy! We finally get to read about what’s really been going on between the two of them, as their story unfolds and grows. This book was exciting and and kept you guessing. At a couple points you’re holding your breath and praying. We are introduced to several new players and I can’t wait to find out more about them……like every other book has left me from Josie. (Sigh, need more please)
This book has major feels and brings answers to the questions we’ve had about this couple. <3
