Focus.
Dean Goldsmith is Indiana University’s star quarterback, and his dreams are about to come true. His undefeated season means he has a legitimate shot at the NFL. If he stays focused. Football comes first.
College senior, Grace Yeates, is determined to defy the odds. She is months away from graduating with a business degree, something no one thought she would be able to pull off. All she … pull off. All she has to do is focus on her number one priority. Family comes first.
Distraction.
Dean has no time for distractions, but when a gorgeous, snarky, redheaded waitress refuses to tell him her name, he can’t seem to focus on anything else.
Grace knows she can’t let herself get caught up in a guy, particularly a man-whore like Dean, no matter how charming or sexy. She has two hearts to look out for now and no room for a Dean-sized distraction.
Complications.
Everyone in Dean’s life agrees that Grace is the kind of complication his career doesn’t need.
Grace knows that Dean is the kind of risk her heart shouldn’t want.
But what if the last person you think you need, the one you shouldn’t want, becomes the one you can’t live without? Can their biggest distraction actually be the focus they were missing all along?

I didn’t care for Dean much in book 1. I did enjoy reading about Grace in this book. She’s brave and tough. Meeting Grace & Finn was able to change Dean for the better. They were absolutely perfect for each other and had such chemistry! You definitely need to read this book!
It’s funny how the things we tend to think of as distractions are really the things we should have focused on all along. Dean is the classic a-hole, bad boy that every girl wants but really should avoid like the plague, while Grace perfectly personifies her namesake as the good girl with a rough, character-building past. As polar opposite as these two seem, they are also the perfect pair. Watching Dean grow into the man he always had the potential to be, and Grace let down her walls enough to let him was an emotional journey that I adored being able to laugh and cry my way through.
Oh my I Love Dean. And Grace so much ..Grace is full of responsibility and has a goal to graduate and don’t want to get distracted… Dean a player and so close to get a football contract and then Grace catch is eyes ..will Dean be able to change is way and can he be able to prove himself and convince Grace that they are meant to be … you can feel their chemistry..it a must read book.hurry get it .
Grace is a superhero. She managed to take the crap hand that life gave her, and worked her butt off to make a life for herself mostly by herself. While Dean, slightly different in the last book, is a superhero on the football field and with the college girls. I’m not sure I liked him much in the last book, but he really stepped in up in this one. While he was also a superhero to his siblings, he grew up from a cocky high school child to be a man he could be proud of. I think I even swooned over him a little. I was happy to see Amy again, as well as Landon, Emma and the others.
I liked this sooooo much better than book 1 of the Not Yet series by Laura Ward. Dean and Grace are well written, compelling characters. The story moves quickly and was interesting from start to finish. You redeemed the series for me with this book, Laura
Great book, really loved the characters. The book was well written and really had my attention the whole book. If I didn’t have to get up early in the morning I would have read it all in one day.
Dean Goldsmith is the star quarterback at Indiana University and knows about everything he must keep his focus on football if he wants a shot at the NFL. He is constantly reminded of the work he put in and how he is so close to achieving all of his dreams. By no means does that mean that he won’t fool around with some of the girls that follow him around on campus.
Grace Yeates is a waitress and a student at Indiana. She has her priorities straight and she won’t let anyone get in her way, especially the college quarterback that keeps trying to ask her on a date and discover her name.
What neither expects is to see another side of the other but what will the cost be?
This is such an amazing series and I am only on book 2!! I love these characters so much and like the first book there are so many surprises that make you jump up and down!
At the beginning of the first book I hated Dean but by the end he had definitely worked his way into my heart with his huge turnaround. I wasn’t too sure what this book would focus on and I am glad they found a perfect character to match him with in Grace!
Grace was just awesome and I loved her feisty attitude at the beginning of the book. As the book goes on and we discover why she has almost a wall built around her everything begins to fall into place and make sense! I was shocked at her past with what happened in Grace’s past that took everyone away from her and left her alone.
I loved seeing how Dean slowly gained Grace’s trust and how everything progressed between them and how other friendships developed. I was heartbroken by Jon’s conversation with Grace and how everything went downhill so fast.
I loved the connection with Amy and how she tied everything together between Dean, Grace and Emma/Landon. I loved how she told Grace that Dean was a good guy!
I was definitely worried when everything came out about what Jon said but I was happy that Dean was able to truly make a difference and gain the trust back that he needed too!
One of the best moments had to be when Grace met Dean’s family and all of the secrets they revealed! It definitely had me laughing so hard!!
The end was so perfect and I can’t wait for the next book!!!
Until Now is the second book in the Not Yet series. This book took off quickly for me. I never put it down until I read the last page. I was sucked into the story right from the start. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series Someday Soon.
Until Now is Dean and Grace’s story. Dean was in the first book and was a partier and a ladies man. All he cared about was getting laid and playing College Football. In this book Dean is a senior at IU and dreaming of being drafted to play in the NFL. Dean never saw himself falling for the waitress who worked on diner on campus. Grace has a lot of responsibilities in her life the biggest is her 4 yr old son Finn. The only things in life she has time for is graduating with a degree in Business, working at the diner and caring for her son. Dean is persistent to find out who Grace is and get to know her. Little do they know that they know that by coming together they fall in love and form a family.
Highly recommend this book such a great story where the renowned player/athlete who only cares about the game meets the one woman who tells him no send since that he is hooked to where he wants to be better and be everything she wants/needs. Such a great story highly recommend
This is the second book in the series and I think I may love it more than the first. I loved the growth that Dean has shown since the first book he and Grace were brilliant together. Grace’s life hasn’t been easy but she has made the best of it, I loved how she is with Finn he’s definitely the light in her life. I loved seeing all the supporting characters especially Amy she’s amazing. Im excited for more of this series.
Book 2 in a series but can be read as a standalone.
We met Dean in book one and the changes in him in book 1 are nothing compared to the person he is in book 2. He is focused on football and the NFL, he is used to having girls left and right but none of them are anything that he wants long term.
Until one day in a cafe he sees Grace and something shifts, now all he wants is her.
I loved seeing him change and become the guy that cared about someone else so much that he would think about changing everything he wanted for her.
I also loved that we got to see our major players from book 1. I love how they were all written in this book and intertwined.
Until now is a feel good read. It isn’t without its challenges or course, what story has only good and happy things through the whole thing.
I can’t wait to read books 3 and 4 and continue on with these friends.
This is book 2 in the not yet series. This story is about how Grace and Dean. We meet Dean in book 1 Not yet. Dean is a pretty boy jock on his way to the NFL. He’s arrogant and full of himself. He meets Grace while she is at work at a diner. She is a full time student, working and taking care of her son. These 2 butt heads at the beginning but work through their problems. Dean does a great job redeeming himself throughout the book. Loved this story. Laura Ward did a great job and can’t wait to read book 3
Until Now by Laura Ward was a story with a bit of everything, it had you laughing out loud then the next you get a bit teary eyed. This was a well written book with some amazing characters Dean a college football star and a young woman Grace who hasn’t always had it easy. This is book two and it brings you some familiar characters from book one. Quite a delightful story that will capture your heart and attention from the very beginning. I recommend this amazing book.
Love this second book in this amazing series. Dean, Grace and Finn are on a journey together. Dean changes after meeting Grace and persues her until she gives in. Love the change in Dean as his relationship with Grace and Finn evolve. Enjoy still reading about the other characters and their realtionships as well.
Dean is a football jock! Nothing can distract him from his goal of being drafted for the NFL, until he meets Grace. Suddenly he is completely distracted by her. He begins to get to know her and soon learns there is someone besides Grace to take up his time. Dean has to decide between the family he is falling in love with or the football career he has worked so hard for… or is it possible to have both?
Once again, Laura Ward made me fall in love with her book! A sexy, , “man-whore” football player and a single mom who doesn’t take any shit. I had all the feels for what Grace had been through with having Finn. I am a fan of how the Dean became a real man and stepped up. You couldn’t help but love Finn either! These characters are so,e of my new favs!
First of all I so enjoy football and I didn’t think I would like in a romance book but I did. Its hard to image what all goes through being really good at something and trying to stay focus. Sometimes things just happen but when it does it really can mess up what you were focusing in so much. I feel that this Author really got down to the points that we needed to read to feel both sides and get right into the story . I enjoyed this story.
4.5 Heart-Wrenching Stars!
This one had me laughing, this one had me crying and this one had me turning pages. A story with a kid ALWAYS gets me and Finn was the BEST, this kid had everything to make you fall in love with him. Grace was such a STRONG, COURAGEOUS woman, even if she didn’t realize it. Dean, oh Dean….I was really unsure about it but he made me feel PROUD in this book. The feels from this book were AMAZING, I cannot recommend this one enough!
Really a sweet book.
Dean is a senior who is going to go Pro for football. The last thing he thought about was a relationship. He had a girl for every day of the week if he wanted. A big Time player and love it. Until he saw Red, aka Grace. Grace stop him in his tracks and he wanted to know more about her. At first it was only her name. He called her Red because of her amazing red hair and her beautiful green eyes. Grace Work and went to college. She hasn’t thought about boys or dating during her school time. She had a plan and it was to finish and take care of the one most important boy ever. Finn! Finn was the whole reason for her to finish and get a job that will take care of both of them. One day Dean saw and talk to Grace was all he needed to change his ways. It isn’t easy tho. He has a plan and no girl was allowed to change him, but maybe one special girl would and could.
Friend to love
Laura Ward has written another amazing story with Book 2 Until Now. Dean and Grace’s story is one of love and friendship. Dean has never taken or been told no until Grace. She has her own responsibilities and obstacles. Will they match his?
Loved the book and can’t wait to read the next in this series.
