This book will be approximately 230 pages when complete June Mayson and Evan Barrister’s whirlwind courtship resulted in a secret marriage right before he left for boot camp. Evan knows deep in his gut that June is too good for him, but after getting a taste of the beautiful life they can have together, he’s unwilling to let her go. June promises to wait for him, knowing neither time or distance … distance will ever change her feelings for Evan—that is until she’s served with divorce papers while he’s overseas and she’s forced to let him go.
Her marriage and divorce a well-kept secret, the last person June expects to run into when she moves back to her hometown is Evan. Angry over the past, she does everything within her power to ignore the pull she feels whenever he is near. But how can she ignore the pain she sees every time their eyes meet? How can she fight the need to soothe him even if she knows she’s liable to get hurt once again?
Is it possible for June and Evan to find their way back to each other again? Or will they be stopped by an outside force before they ever have a shot?

Great Book. I love this series.
I love a good second chance book and that’s exactly what you get with June and Evan. These two were married before but not everyone knew about it. They are divorced now and June is living back home but what she does t know when she comes home is that her ex husband has moved there as well and is working with her cousin. Of course June does everything she can to avoid him since he broke her heart but Evan has other plans for his ex wife. Evan will do whatever it takes to get June back and promises not to give up until he does. This book is so sweet and funny, I loved it. There’s a little drama but not a lot. Story mostly focus on Evan and June repairing the old wounds. I won’t give too much detail, so go read the book to find out. You won’t be disappointed.
This was a cute second chance romance. This story was entertaining. I enjoyed this book.
Ugh, I love these books!! So steamy and sweet!! Gotta love a good romantic book with lots of steamy chemistry and sexy alpha males!!!
Oh. My. Days! I love coming back to this family! I know I am so behind on this series and I am slowly making my way through it.
June and Evan have a history, no one realises how much of a history either. My heart hurt so much for them. Both of them carrying around so much pain from what was. Will they be able to move forward, together?
Such an emotional read! Loved it!
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
In this book we meet June Mayson (November & Asher’s Daughter) & Evan Barrister. When this book opens we find that June’s latest boyfriend isn’t all that he seems. In fact she never even knew his real name. So June has decided she is done with men after this one. The thing is though the men in her family know that her ex is a bad guy and are determined to protect her even though he is in jail awaiting trial. She could handle all of their overprotective natures what she is having the problem with is the man they sent to protect her is none other than her ex husband Evan. But oh wait only her sister July knows about the fact that he use to be her husband. Seeing Evan is not something she is prepared to do because she doesn’t understand what she did wrong that made him want to leave her. All she know is to protect her heart she needs to stay as far away from him as possible. Is that possible though with all those old feelings?
Evan had a rough childhood his dad was abusive, his mom is a drunk, and his brother is on a path of destruction with drugs. Evan wanted a better life so he thought the military would give him that he never planned on meeting and falling in love with June before he started boot camp. He also never thought he would experience such horrors while overseas. All he did know was his beautiful June deserved a better life then the crap hand he had been dealt and felt the best thing to do for her was let her go. Sometime letting go is harder than we think though and all Evan wants is his wife back. Not just for a one and done time but mind, body, and soul all his again. What he doesn’t know if the damage he did really can be repaired or if he has hurt her so bad she won’t let him back in. Evan isn’t scared of Asher but he respects her father and is determined to do things right this time even if it could mean a serious but kicking. Can he get back the one woman who gives him a reason to breath everyday?
This author has yet to write a book that once I start it I can’t put it down. This one is no exception. This book is about love, loss, and finding a way to have it all again after everything. I thought the the way the author shows both points of view on how they feel about the fact that they aren’t together anymore and what they thought of the time they were together amazing. I want to tell you so much but don’t want to ruin any of the surprises. I will say this is a book that will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. It is an absolute must read. This is a stand alone you might want to read Until July just to understand some of the reference between July and Wes. I would however recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
“You have always, always been good enough for me. I fell in love with you- all of you- not just one piece of you that I thought was perfect. There was never a time I didn’t love you.”
I am a huge fan of Aurora’s books and I think she writes the best alpha males. Until June is another great addition to her Until world. This book is low on drama and high on sexiness. For me this was a somewhat light contemporary romance where two characters get a second chance at love. I am a sucker for second chance romances and I thought Until June fit the bill perfectly. The story had a great pace and there wasn’t a moment I was bored and wanted to skip pages.
“I know it doesn’t make sense, but if it were possible for someone else to have your heart inside of their body, I know he would be carrying mine around.”
I felt bad for both June and Evan, from the moment they met there was such a strong attraction between them. They got married in secret and later June is being served with divorce papers. I had no idea why Evan did that to June, because everything was going great between them. I don’t like it when characters make these rash decisions without explaining why! It is one of my book pet peeves, and I wish that Evan at least contacted her and had the balls to serve the papers himself. He owed her an explanation. The author did a great job by not dragging the issue on longer than it was needed and that left the floor wide open for great character development. I really enjoyed seeing June and Evan come together and become stronger as both individuals and as a couple. For me that is one of the most important elements in a second chance romance.
Overall this was a solid romance book with very interesting characters. I also loved seeing the characters from the previous books make an appearance. It makes me miss them and want to reread their books. There are still enough Until kids and I can’t wait for the author to write their stories!
I was so intrigued by what was happening with June after a few bits and pieces we got from her in the others books and HOLY HELL – I was in no way disappointed!
This book kinda broke my heart a little for June!!!
Her secret history with Evan was such a great foundation for this beautiful story!
Once again in true Aurora Rose Reynolds style – this book was alpha hotness and steam personified!
I don’t think this author could ever write a bad word!!! I am so addicted to her and everything she creates!
Until June ticked all my boxes and with a depth to these characters that just builds and grows from the first book you can’t help but fall in love with another perfect couple in the Mayson Madness series!
Evan and June were perfect and I couldn’t help but lose myself to their story and their struggles!
If you haven’t dived head first into this books, this series…or even this author you are sorely missing out on something so special!!!!!
Another perfect #BOOM to add to the collection!!!!!
Until June is a must read!
June and Evan are the perfect couple to draw you into a story and keep you hanging until the very end.
There is so much emotion in this novel, that you will feel in seeping out of the pages. You will go through all of the emotions along with the characters. You will laugh and cry and feel sorrow and joy.
This is an incredible novel that I highly recommend.
5/5 Stars!
I don’t know how to begin ‘cuz I love this series so very much! Ever since Until November came out, I have been reading these nonstop and just never stopped loving it. This story’s no different. The way the author can draw you in and writes, you can’t help but fall in love with the characters.
June and Evan had a relationship no one knew about and drifted apart. After being separate they meet unexpected and sparks fly yet again. Loved them together and somehow they couldn’t stay away… Definitely another amazing read for me and can’t wait to read the next one! Aurora did it yet again!
Can I get a heck yes?
Aurora Rose Reynolds Knocked it out of the park with “ Until June”!
I’m have been known to stalk her FB page a time or two. So when “ Until June”
hit my iPad I way over the moon! I even did a little dance!
I died a little with June and Evan’s characters. To have found love and to have lost it! Is something I couldn’t have ever fathom. But she makes it seem so seamless. Oh, the hot steamy sex scenes that Aurora Rose Reynolds wrote. That me begging for a fan!!! HOT HOT!!! The love with June and Evan is one that eternal. Which means they found the “BOOM”!
And….Everything is right with the world again! Yayy!!
I didn’t particularly love the first book in this series, but this one was FANTASTIC! This second chance romance really hit the spot for me. I was immediately drawn into the story and couldn’t help but root for the characters to find their HEA. I’m not going to write a full review since I’m super late to the party, but the main characters were great. The secondary characters (JJ) were very entertaining. The plot, pace and writing were all winners. It’s pure ARR Gold!
I’d recommend this title to romance readers who love alpha-males and the women who fall for them!
I rate it: 4.25 Stars
I loved this book!!! Love this series and author!
Evan is quite possessive, “you’re mine.” I lean forward, growling, “Mine,” then lean back and catch her gaze again. “Your ***s are mine. Your *** is mine. Call me whatever you like.” Asher hasn’t changed much the man is still protective of his kids, and Evan gets his message loud and clear, “baby,” he murmurs, sounding amused. “He told me that if I effed up again, he was going to cut off my ***k and feed it to me.” I really enjoyed this book, this is one of my favorite series.
June Mayson has a secret that she hasn’t told anyone and that secret is Evan Barrister. June and Evan were married and divorced but she never told her family. She was hurt by him badly but could never get over him. When outside forces push Evan back in her life, can June really ignore what she feels for him? Can she let go of the hurt and maybe give them both a second chance at love or is it too late?
I have always loved the writing from Aurora Rose Reynolds. This book was no exception as I literally couldn’t put it down. The only reason I did not give this book five stars was due to how the story ended. I felt it ended too abruptly and I wanted more. I am hoping in future books we see more of their story. Overall I did love the characters. Evan is strong and definitely an Alpha Male, June is a little spitfire when she needs to be. Their chemistry together is off the charts hot. I loved JJ; June’s next door neighbor. I would definitely recommend Aurora Rose Reynolds to anyone looking for a great book.
“Until June” follows on in a long standing series that I LOVE
Now! I adore Aurora Rose Reynolds’ writing, but for some reason I had trouble relating to June and Evan.
June Mayson moves back to her home town after finishing college, and as soon as she moves back; her cousins have put her ex-husband on “protection watch”. Problem…. No one knows that Evan is her ex-husband.
June and Evan got married while she was still in college, and right before Evan was deployed to Afghanistan. She waited for him. Then her mother in law served her with divorce papers. She was still waiting. What she didn’t know was that Evan lived through some traumatic events and didn’t know how to live his life without dumping all his angst and fear onto his wife. So he bolted.
Now they’re back in the same town together. He is watching her every move. Slowly but surely all of the feelings that they both thought they had overcome, come flooding back with a ferocity that they can’t control.
I’m not sure what it is that made it difficult for me to relate to June and Evan. I liked the book, but I just didn’t love it! I have developed a real attachment to the Mayson family, so was left a tiny bit underwhelmed with June and Evan’s story. Having said that though…. I can’t wait to read the next installment “Until Ashlyn”.
For me, this book had all the feels. The love these two shared just seeped through the pages. I adored June almost as much as July. She just wore her heart on her sleeve for all to see. These two had a soul mate kind of love that would be tough to match.
June and Evan had met about 3 years ago and before he left for the military they secretly got married. Nobody in her family knew she was married, she just kept it to herself. During the course of their marriage, he slowly quit keeping in contact until he was finally back and served her divorce papers. The love she had for him broke me to read about, because she loves with her whole heart. And she was desperately trying to get over the all consuming love she had for him. When he moved there, they both have to adjust seeing each other. Following their story just gives you all the feels.
Not gonna lie, their girls nights are epic. So much fun and I love all the supporting characters. I need to find out if JJ and Brew have a book or Colton and Gia. Great characters and storylines. This was a passionate and steamy read. Safeish, she had a boyfriend during their separation, but he was never with anyone else. A little om drama, but no ow drama (that was refreshing). There is baby batter, a wedding, an epilogue with multiple time frames and an hea. Seriously, this series is so book crack…you are welcome.
