I think this should almost be required reading for anyone who has been married for awhile. Seeing how Mia and Bode had become disconnected over time is a needed reminder for us all that relationships take work. I do agree that references to their physical relationship are a part of the storyline, but I do not really feel like that they are bedroom scenes. After all, there is a reason why God says that is an important part of a married relationship. BUT if you prefer a book with kisses on the cheek, this is not the book for you.
The neighbor was one of my favorite characters. And I did like the fact that in the midst of the heaviness, the author knew when to lighten it up. This was a tearjerker, but it did also make me laugh out loud. I liked the fact that both Mia and Bode recognized that they needed to grow together. Having been married for 20 years myself, sometimes I need to remember that marriage is work. Seeing this played out in fiction caused me to examine my own relationship and ways that I too need to continue to grow with my husband.
A great start to a series!
It was fictional, but could be true of so many couples. It reminded me to always show my husband how much I appreciate what he does. Unfortunately, e-books always seem to have lots of typos.
I really enjoyed reading it. Kept me wanting to see how it turned out
Great read, enjoyable
I enjoyed this very much. Could see it happening to a couple who have been married a while and are just coasting along and not really talking to one another. Writing was good, and the ending suited me just fine.
Great book with a very realistic and practical story line relative to today.
Good
Loved this book
Loved this book. Mia and Bode became my friends and I was fighting for them. I think this is a must read book. Now on too another T.I. Lowe book!
I enjoyed the read and I felt the difficulties the couple were going through we’re very real. I loved the way they took the vowels they made at their wedding and renewed and understood them after many years of marriage. The book was inspirational.
I thought it was very realistic. The characters are very real and draw you in. Great inspirational story.
Enjoyable reading. Family problems, with ups and downs.
I love this author! It’s always a pleasure to read the books
Great book detailing how things can go so wrong when we lose sight of faith and the one we love.
“Until I Do” was a great read and am so glad I did. This is the first book in a series. I actually read the second book first awhile back because it was on sale. Kept putting off purchasing this one. Glad I did as it came available on sale and I’m all about “sale”. However, this really is worth the price salenor regular.
I loved that it was about a couple in their early 40’s who were dealing with marital issues and two college kids. All very real. There were several things that I could totally relate to and I love that. I appreciate the fact that there was only insinuation instead of explicit details regarding intimate situations.
However, this is also where I was a bit disappointed in the book. It seemed that they used sex as their healing tool. They kept saying they still were not on solid ground but the text and intimacy shared said something different. So I will take a star away for that. Book two is not that “sexual” in content so this kinda took me aback.
Overall I give “Until I Do” 4 stars. I great read.
Realistic look at a marriage in trouble.
