Oh my gosh Usually I don’t read Romantic Suspense books, but when I started reading this book, I was hooked and even got the next book
It had an interesting theme I thought a different idea and gives people something to ponder
Best I’ve read in a long time!!
Although a general concept that I had read before-this was a fresh spin on an uncommon storyline. I LOVED IT. The people were true in their interactions and reactions based on their back stories. The pace moved along well. My ONLY compliant was that the resolution at the end of the story seemed a little rushed. (Maybe because I just wanted more of these people??) Thanks you a great read.
This book was originally written in 1993. Back then, it won a Romance Writers or America award and I can see why. A girl dies in a car accident before her time and comes back in another woman’s body who is also dying in the same hospital. Her mission is to find the other woman’s husband’s heart. The plot deals with the girl’s struggle to figure out her new life and discover why her ‘husband’ hates her so much and also deal with why she died in her car accident, plus, how does she tell her ‘husband’ who is falling in love with her again the truth. It hard to explain, but the story is good, keeps your interest until the last page. I say, no matter what year this was written, the story holds up very well. Try it. The author has written 30 books. I will be checking out her website to see some of her other offerings.
I was really surprised, I thought this might be a real tear jerker, but it turned out to be so tragic and selfless. Sometimes I do think good people leave too early from this world, but I love the idea that Heaven could turn a terribly raw deal into a beautiful, heart warming gift to several people at once. What a great read. Very thought provoking and heartening.
What a very different story line. Loved the characters and the challenges they faced. Wish it had a more descriptive ending, but I can appreciate where it stopped too. Love the different twists in the story line. Thanks.
Artful blend of suspense, romance and paranormal … really enjoyed.
Author admits she “always loved the combination of suspenseful chills and romantic thrills, especially with a bit of paranormal thrown in” and she brings it to the table in this book. Anxious to read the next in the series … same concept.
I’ve never read a book like this one and even months after reading it, the story stuck with me. I adored this book!!!
Very interesting.
This book was great. You wanted to know who did it up til the end.
I couldn’t put it down
This was a very haunting read. I loved the characters and really felt for them as the story unfurled around me. It was an easy book to get lost in, and hard to put down. I was anxious to see what each new day would bring in the story…
This is the first book I’ve read from this author and will conyiune reading her books! It was fast-paced and an orignal! Loved every second if reading this story!
Very different read. Loved the story.
Liked the premise
I couldn’t put it down. Great storyline. I can’t wait to read her other books.
Held your interest, but you had to pay attention or you would lose out. I like a book like this and one where you are not sure what is going to happen next.
I am a religious person, but I had never even thought before about God putting someone who died into another persons life who had died to keep one of them going. Definitely a different thought thought about the Christian factor whether actually possible or not.
It was ok it was 2 short
What a great new storyline!!!! I loved it and only wished I could have read how her parents acted when they found out she hadn’t died. Amazing!!!!
