It comes out January 8th, and after reading Blind, I’m eagerly anticipating it.
I am absolutely loving the guys in Mastermind world!
Elliot is the more unsure or awkward of the whole group.
The way he sees himself as him distancing himself from life I’d say.
He doesn’t date. He doesn’t socialize.
A bad childhood has left lingering effects.
His life is about to be turned upside down though.
By one feisty romantic stubborn woman by the name of Nadia.
Together and individually they will struggle with their past.
The feelings of being not good enough.
The feelings of guilt.
Having to get over trust issues.
What an absolutely glorious journey Ms. Michaels takes us on with Elliot and Nadia.
Not only is this authors’ books sexy and steamy.
But she always delivers a beautiful romance story as well.
She always gives the reader an emotional powerful plot with unforgettable characters.
Her books are always “more”.
They is such depth and meaning to her storylines and characters.
Her stories are easy to relate to because the emotions and insecurities her characters deal with most of us have experienced.
Elliot and Nadia’s story is no exception.
There’s is a turbulent journey.
Filled with so much emotions and a whole lot of sexy.
Wow, is this the same Elliot we met in BLIND? The angst of insecurity was felt through Elliot’s fear of losing control, which is the one thing that built his security, and Nadia’s uncertainty that she could ever be enough. Lydia built this relationship in spite of insecurities and fears on a way that makes me crave more!
Untied is the second story in the Mastermind series. This is Elliot and Nadia’s story. Nadia briefly appeared in Blind as Asher’s dance instructor. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. I had a hard time connecting with Elliot and Nadia. As in the previous book, some of the subtle details were my favorite parts. For example, I love that Elliot’s gate code was 314….I chose to believe that this was a reference to pi being 3.14….I have no idea if this was the authors intention, but if it was, bravo! Love it!
Elliot’s story was awesome. It’s amazing how much we are our own worst critic. He strives for perfection and accepts nothing less. Nadia is a hot mess, anything but perfect. When perfect meets imperfect boy do their worlds turn upside down. All I’m gonna say is wow! I don’t want to spoil the story, so with that you must read this amazing romance about finding yourself. Lydia you got me again girl!
Untied is book 2 in the mastermind series. It was brilliant to get a second look in to a character mentioned in the first book Blind. Elliot the shy unassuming geek who has a perfectly neat and ordered life, Nadia the pretty Hungarian dancer who’s life has been a little more uncontrolled and scattered… Could two people from different worlds find what they are searching for in each other?
3.5 for me I didn’t like Elliot when reading Blind, he’s sort of a jerk. I Disliked how most of the Hungarian was not translated. We don’t speak the language. I was very frustrated by that. I just didn’t connect with Elliot. What was the whole past that Nadia was hiding? When things where good they were really good. Elliot was a coward. I did like the epilogue.
This book just goes to show how all romances are not fairy tail affairs . A union has two people in it each with their own pasts and insecurities . Elliot was always the geek who was picked on and does not always see what is happening for what it truly is , but for what he perceives it to be. Nadia is beautiful but has issues with how she has been treated and with her own self worth . This is a story you want to read that pulls you into the plot and hold you hostage .
This is the second book in the in Mastermind series, it’s Elliot’s story. We were introduced to Elliot in Blind as Asher’s best friend, he was the nerd at the dance studio with a hard-on, who didn’t or couldn’t move.
It turns out that he really is a superhero in nerd’s clothing. Yup, it’s a thing and he rescues a dame in distress but does he end up with the girl? You know you are going to have to read it to find out.
Elliot truly surprised me! When we met him in Blind, he definitely wasn’t my favorite character, I won’t lie. After reading Untied, I change my mind! He’s a sneaky little devil that’s for sure. By the end of this book, Elliot claimed my heart and had me in tears. Literal tears. If you want a book hangover, Untied is for you!
I’m absolutely in love with the nerds of the Mastermind Series. In Untied,we get Elliot’s story, he’s the king of control,if he doesn’t think he can accomplish something then he refuses to try,for fear of failure. All that changes when he sees Nadia in a bad spot. Their story is a emotional journey of self discovery,of letting past hurts go and embracing all the possibilities of the future with someone you love. A great story with plenty of sizzle you will definitely love this book!
