Reform or die… it’s my only choice…They call me a monster. They say that my bloodlust is too dangerous. That my other form is too powerful. But I can’t change what I am.A berserker. A species that has so few females we’re more legend than reality. But the day I shifted into my monstrous-form and killed, it didn’t matter. Not that I’m rare. Not that the creatures I slaughtered deserved it.Sent … slaughtered deserved it.
Sent to a reform school as a last chance before execution, I now have to survive amongst the worst of my kind. And there’s a reason people fear berserkers. A good reason.
Not only that, but my rare ability has attracted the attention of a dangerous man who will stop at nothing to have me. Unfortunately for him, three supernaturals have sworn to protect me.
The three men might be the key to my survival; they could even be the fated mates that can love me, both sides of me. And yet, even if they can keep me safe from my enemies, they can’t keep me safe from myself.
If I show my other side again, I’m dead.
And the thing is, there’s no taming a berserker.
UNTAMED: HOUSE OF BERSERKERS is a reverse harem academy romance with a twist! It features brand new characters and takes place in the shared world Wicked Reform School. At this reform school, you’ll discover wicked paranormals, wicked punishments, and wicked pleasure, like you’ve never read before! It does end with a cliffhanger, but you’ll love to continue reading about these amazing characters in the House of Berserkers’ series.

Untamed: House of Berserkers (Wicked Reform School) (A Reverse Harem Romance) by Lacey Carter Andersen is a wonderful story that I have read. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about reverse harem and paranormal romances.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
So I wasn’t too sure what I was getting into when I started this book but I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading. I got sucked into this dark world with Kiera and loved every second of it. There were some sad moments but Kiera is a fierce rare female berserker that ends up shifting when most females do not. She is sent off to the Wicked reform school where she meets her mates and her story really gets going. Beware the Ciffy!! Absolutely fabulous!! Definitely worth the read! Cannot wait for the next one!
Another knock it out of the park, start to a series from Lacey. She is in my top five authors right now. I love Kiera she is amazing! I cant wait to find out what happens in the next book! Fast paced steamy read!
Kiera thought life would go on just the way it was planned. Graduation, training, alliances, all things as they should be inthe House of Winter. When a graduation party spills over into the human world though, Kiera’s life will be changed forever. When a pack of pureblood vampires kill her best friend, Kiera flies into a blood rage only the gods of another time have ever seen. She is something which shouldn’t exist, and if she survives the Wicked Reform School she may change the future for them all.
This is a fast-paced, dramatic start to a series placed in the Wicked Reform school. If you like your stories fast and focused, full of drama, and fast-burn romance (or rather steam), then this could be the right pick for you. Kiera fits nicely the description of a berserker with all main characteristics included, and on top, she can succumb to her rage and go berserk as the only female around – a fact that is tied to a prophecy of power. Which paints a target on her back and is the cause for her to end up at the wicked school. There were some aspects of the world or character building that I’d like to have more developed – the school just sounds like a prison disguised as place to learn something – but we don’t get many serious answers what they are supposed to learn (self-control in case of berserkers, but the others?) and how, or what classes they actually take.. and then there is the warning that “you don’t want to know what happens if you miss classes or are late”, but when Kiera misses a whole day of her classes it’s like nothing happened, next round of violent classes is up. There were more such things which led me to deduct a star from the rating, but I liked the three men in Kiera’s harem enough to like the book in total
Anderson has created an interesting world for this one. We meet Kiera a female berserker with some amazing powers I must say. She feels compelled to right the wrongs in the world no matter how that plays out though she does find herself in danger from time to time as she does so. Sent to Wicked Reform School she meets three hot but different men who will change her world as she knows it. Makes for a great read that will pull you into the story until the very last page leaving you looking forward to the next book in the series. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Great book!! Once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. Absolutely love Kiera and how bada$& she is as a rare woman berserker. I loved the story line and her guys as well. Can’t wait for the next one!!
Great strong female lead in a suspenseful adventure that kept me on the edge of my seat. This reverse harem story is full of twists and surprises. The author is famous for her amazing cliffhangers so there’s no surprise this one ends in one but I have learnt that she is an excellent writer and her stories have always been awesome and page turners.
One thing I love about Lacey Carter Andersen’s books is that she doesn’t stick with the normal vampire, wolf shifter and demon paranormals. Sure, they’ll show up, but she looks at a much wider range of creatures!
This book is no different, with the FMC being a rare female berserker, and her harem another berserker, a dragon shifter and Adam, a “mutant” – quite what he is and how he came to be is only touched upon and I hope is covered in more detail in later books!
I don’t read a lot of academy books, but the Wicked Reform School is more of a prison than a school and the characters are mid 20s.
It’s an action packed story, with a few twists and a cliffhanger – thankfully the next book is out already, I’m a bit behind on my TBR list, so I’ll be starting that next! Looking forward to reading more and Keira and her guys and also looking into the rest of the Wicked Reform School universe.
I enjoyed this one!
Kiera is a rare female beserker, and after going berserk and killing, ends up in ‘reform school’, which is more like a prison. Kiera needs to complete tests and try to stay alive, so she can eventually graduate from this bizarre school. Also, due to how rare female berserkers are, she has caught the eye of a man wanting her to be his queen – something she really is not interested in.
I liked the characters in this story, about would love to read more about each of the main four. This ends on a cliffhanger, but that didn’t bother me, I just want to find out what happens next!
Action packed and full of surprises
Kiera, a Winter berserker, has just graduated and goes into the human town with her friends to celebrate. As the story progresses a tragic event changes her course, a few good men gather around her, and even surviving becomes questionable as time marches on. Lacey Carter Andersen’s contribution to the Wicked Reform School world is action packed and full of surprises. The main character has a strong sense of right and wrong while still being able to protect herself from the people trying to take away her right to choose how her life should go. This journey promises some of hot guys and evil machinations to deal with.
I loved it, I’m always willing to follow Lacey down the rabbit hole. She has such unique ideas and thoughts. You can never go wrong with her. I’m super excited to read the next book. Lacey rarely makes us wait overly long for the next book so I’m not sorry to wait for her at all. Even when it is a little longer than normal. This story was fantastic, we rarely get stories about berserkers or Barbarians, it’s why I love it so much! I’m tact my favorite D&D character to play us often a Barbarian Or Beserker or some kind of Frenzied tank!! It’s awesome that she brings the FMC to life in this way! I can’t wait to read more about her!
Action-packed!
Like all the books I’ve read in the Wicked Reformschool series, this one was action-packed and very hard to put down.
Who knew berserkers could be so… warm? I am moving at lightspeed to get my hands on book 2!
Oh, hang on tight when you reach the end – don’t wanna see ya fall off the cliff with that kind of drop below…
female berserkers can’t shift they can’t turn into the monster the males can. there’s a prophecy if a female berserker can shift into a monster then whoever she agrees to mate with becomes king of all beserkers. Kira loses it someone close to her dies unexpectedly. She’s sent to the academy because she’s told to deny shifting because they know the self oppointed “King” of the beserkers is after her and is a tyrant a monster both in his human form as well as his shifted form.
This is so good I need more ! So much going on you can’t guess what’s going to happen next
This is a great read. An exciting reverse harem story about a female berserker and it’s a great one! It’s an academy romance that takes place in the shared world Wicked Reform School full of paranormals. Keira our female mc is kick ass and super strong and the story is steamy and action packed, all in all a story well worth reading.
Ahhh! Unique and awesome.
I looooooooove this so much, I love the idea of a female berserker, which makes this awesome because I have never read anything like it.
I was a bit worried about the academy type setting, but it totally fits in line with the plot and isn’t focused on more than it should be, plus hidden in the academy are gems like my favourite harem member who is too wholesome for my soul.
The characters really make this series pop. They are all well developed with flaws (Hazar!), and their dynamic isn’t totally fluid which is great because it means development.
I was on edge the entire time reading this because I was not sure what to expect. The ending was something else and cracked me on the head like a sledgehammer knocking me off a cliff!
My soul left my body to go and find the next book after reading that because, uh, hello author? Books aren’t supposed to end this way?! Fell off a mountain and got sucked into Mariana’s trench with that OMG blinding cliff hanger.
Although, I’m guaranteed to read the next book (who couldn’t after that ending), plus this one was just so awesome, and I’m now emotionally invested in the characters even the bad guys.
I haven’t seen berserker books before and I’m glad this was the first one. This story is amazing as it follows Kiera and all she goes through. There was one thing that stood out and that was Kiera’s love and compassion. Berserkers aren’t known for their hearts but Kiera is different. Throughout the book she shows love to those close to her. So much love that she fights for them.
This was an amazing read and I can’t wait for the next book.
A good story with very interesting characters! Original , that’s for sure. I really enjoyed getting to know Kiera, as well as Drake, the soft spoken Adam and the mysterious Emory. This ending…I’m sure there will be plenty of twists and turns ahead!
I really enjoyed this book! I loved Kiera and her
bada$$ness and I loved the guys as well. The storyline is awesome and kept me entertained to the very end. I can’t wait for more! I need more!
This was a fantastic read. Loved the characters especially Adam. He a interesting character, we don’t really get a lot of information about him or his nature. Just little tidbits I really do hope we get more of a backstory on him. Drake my heart breaks for him but I do love his cocky persona you can’t help but fall for his charm. Emory is an enigma I can’t make head or tail about him So I’m hoping the next book will help with that. It does end on a major cliffhanger but it just make me really eager for the next book in the series. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
