Aiden Dwyer, a Queens construction worker, doesn’t know a salad fork from a dessert fork, unlike his best friend from college, Sebastian Parker, a privileged son from a blue-blooded Manhattan family who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Seb’s always got Aiden’s back. The same can’t be said for Seb’s little sister, Bea, who finds pleasure in mocking Aiden for his lack of social standing. … social standing.
A permanent fixture in New York City gossip columns, Beatrice (Bea) Parker is known as “The Park Avenue Princess.” But nobody knows that the pillar of young Manhattan society has an alter-ego on an online dating site for “discreet singles.”
Lying dormant under all of their jokes and teasing is Aiden and Bea’s unrequited desire for each other. When he discovers Bea’s greatest secret, Aiden risks his friendship with Sebastian to fulfill her fantasies and make his hunger for her a reality.
Warning: This epistolary novel contains flirtatious banter, double entendres, interfering parents, a heroine who leads a secret life, and a hero who could have everything he ever wanted if he plays his cards right.

When you have such high hopes for a book. You don’t realize how disappointed you are when that book doesn’t meet your expectations. Until after the book has been completed.
This was a very fast read for me. I was able to finish it within a day. I started when I woke up and didn’t put the book down until after lunch. The relationship between Buzzy and Full Ride is something I used to dream of as a kid. But I felt this book barely touched the surface of what their relationship would be. The ‘fun’ scenes were mostly written as if they were dreams instead of reality. As hot as they were I would have liked to see a portion of those dreams played out in the ‘real world’. I slowly lost the connection I had with the characters as the book went on.
This started off as a great read for me and slowly went downhill. I felt as if this was more of a novella rather than a full length novel. The writing was good, I just felt if needed that little bit of oomph to get it to great. – By Vanessa
This is the first book I’ve read by Sofia Tate, and is the first book in a trilogy. This was a nice, hot, steamy, good book. I really liked Aiden and Bea, and enjoyed seeing them go from frenemies to lovers. I really liked their nicknames for each other too. Another enjoyable aspect was Bea’s best friend, who is very supportive. Bea’s brother was also very interesting and I’m looking forward to reading his book. All in all this was very enjoyable, and I can’t wait to read the next book in the trilogy.

Aiden Dwyer has worked hard all of his life to achieve his goals. While he works as a construction worker alongside his father, his best friend, Sebastian Parker, has grown up with a privileged life as a member of one of Manhattan’s elite families.
For many years Aiden has lusted after his best friend’s younger sister, Beatrice (Bea) Parker, who is also known as “The Park Avenue Princess.” When he discovers that Bea has created a profile on an exclusive dating site, he jumps at the opportunity to get to know another side of her while remaining anonymous.
Will Bea finally see Aiden as more than just her brother’s best friend; or will Aiden ruin any chance at a relationship with Bea when she learns of his true identity?
(I received an ARC of Unspoken from Sofia Tate in exchange for my honest review.)
Unspoken is the steamy tale of two young lovers that express themselves anonymously on an online dating site. The chemistry between Bea and Aiden is off the charts! Bea has been raised to become a lady and is expected to marry someone of important status, not a worker like Aiden. When given the right opportunity to have the chance at happiness and love, they both jump at the chance. If you love a sexy romance novel, than this book is for you!
I devoured this book in half a day! It was so good! The prose was wonderful and so intimate! Aiden was so lovable. He treated Bea like she was his queen and he never gave up on her, even when she tried to push him away. I liked Bea but at the same time I hated her. I loved her when she was her true self. I hated her when she put the high society socialite and her “obligations” first. I didn’t like that she stubbornly pushed Aiden away when he confessed the truth to her. But I’m glad they fully found each other in the end, even if they had to deal with a life treating issue in order for that to happen. These two will stick with me.
This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed this story.
Loved the idea of a dating site using the written word to connect instead of focussing on the physical aspects.
I felt sorry for Bea. It shows that money doesn’t buy happiness or freedom to choice. Aiden was a great character, he came across as a real and decent guy and he was just right for Beatrice.
It was a fun, sweet and sexy read.
Unspoken by Sofia Tate is book One in The Prose Series. This is the story of Aiden Dwyer and Beatrice ‘Bea’ Parker.
Aiden in Bea’s brother best friend and former college buddy. Aiden has always found Bea hard to resist but with her attitude and being the sister of his best friend has resist temptation. But then he learns of her little secret and he goes forward to act on his feelings.
Bea is a popular with the gossip columns and even has a nickname “The Park Avenue Princess.” which leaves it hard to find a man because she doesn’t know if they really like or not. So she secretly does a online dating profile to try to filter out the false dates.
Aiden and Bea are so separate in backgrounds but love finds a way to find command ground.
I enjoyed reading their story and finding out how things would come to pass with their relationship.
Unspoken by Sofia Tate was a wonderful surprise by this new-to-me author. Aiden works hard and is a good man, but he also knows he is not good enough for Bea Parker, his best-friend’s little sister. Sebastian and his sister, Bea, come from privilege and wealth. How could he ever compete with that, even if he does have a great relationship with Sebastian?
Once Bea became known as “The Park Avenue Princess” and constantly featured in the gossip columns, she never knew if a man wanted her for her or where she came from. She decides to secretly join an online dating site and explore more without prying eyes.
Aiden would never betray his best friend, but Aiden has always wanted Bea. When he discovers her secret, he decides he is the man to fulfill all her desires, in secret. She has no idea the man she is talking to is Aiden. And so the fun begins. Each is able to be honest in their desires and wants and it was so sexy and steamy!
In real life, Bea and Aiden love to go back and forth with their banter and snippy comments while hiding how they truly feel about each other. I loved both characters so much. Aiden was smart, strong and sexy and though he put himself through college, never quite felt he could truly fit in. Bea is beautiful, rich and confident, but there is also another side to her just wanting to be herself. It was great seeing the two sides of these characters as the story continued.
Unspoken by Sofia Tate was truly a fun and sexy read to get lost in. Bea and Aiden were great together and it was so much fun watching them come together. This is the first book in a series, but this has a happy ending and will leave you wanting more!
