Love sucks. It’s an emotion that can cripple you—make you weak—something that pisses me the hell off each time I see the object of my desires. It was never my intention to fall in love, but I did, and most of all with her. She takes over my every waking moment and dominates my free will. A woman whose world revolves around a man that will never see her as more than his best friend. We are reliving … than his best friend.
We are reliving the same story, yet this time, with a different protagonist.
You meet and fall into lust.
Play that dangerous game of cat and mouse that makes the spoils of victory worth it. You chase and she, the coquettish viper, enthralls you with her every smile. With the sway of her enticing hips while she stupidly follows the impossible: he will never be hers.
I hate her.
I love her.
F*ck you, Ashley.
NOTE: This is an I Saw You Spin-Off and can be read as a standalone, but will make more sense if you read I Saw You first.

“God, she felt good, like bliss. But this small taste of elation came with poisonous thorns.”
I fell in love with Tex immediately!! His “sugar”? Not so much….but it worked. Tons of angst, and drama, and push/pull to keep me completely entertained throughout. It really picked up at the end, and left me with my jaw dropped, white knuckling my kindle, and salivating for the next book!!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!
“She was like an addiction to me; dangerous and inviting. A siren’s call that could lure me to my demise.”

Going into this book I had some high expectations. As I have read some of this author’s other works and I loved them. Apparently my expectations were a little too high.
While reading this book it left me with more questions than answers. I felt as if I was missing a whole book before this one. I felt as if I was missing a back-story to the main characters. I had to go back to the synopsis multiple times to make sure there wasn’t in fact another book I had to read.
The characters left me with more to desire. Tex as hot and gorgeous as he is, I loved him to no end. If the cover is any indication of what he could look like in real life. I would mind licking him from head to toe. Now Ashley on the other hand no matter how hard I tried. I could not like her. I couldn’t connect with her like I have with some many other characters.
As much as I love this author, unfortunately this book just wasn’t for me. Although this was not my cup of tea I do encourage everyone to read the book and to form there own opinions. – By Vanessa
This book blew me out of the water. To see characters that took on a life of their own and make the audience the the rife right along with them. It wasn’t what I was expected but I loved it nonetheless. I’m rooting for the cowboy to save his girl rather she likes it or not lol. I can’t wait for part two!
Elena…you are the woMAN!!! I loved getting so much of Tex’s POV in this book, I didn’t think I could handle too much of Ashley’s and I’m glad this book eased me into it! lol I hated Ashley in I Saw You…and I mean HATED her! I cringed when I heard Elena was writing her story and said “Nope, not reading it.” Then I said, “okay, I’ll read it, but I absolutely won’t love her!” I have to say I still don’t love Ashley unless I say I love to hate her! 🙂 She is definitely a unique character, but Tex…LOVED HIM! I really loved his hate for Ashley! lol He truly loves Ashley and just wants to help her heal and realized things around her and help her move on. However, Ashley can’t even love herself! She’s selfish and I just wanted to boob-punch her over and over!
Readers be warned: Cliffhanger!! (I am the queen of not reading books that end in a cliffy but I love Elena so much that I veered off course).
If you love drama and ups and downs, this is the book for you.
** spoiler alert ** Texas has been in love with Ashley for years, but hasn’t been ready to show it. Ashley let the fame of her best friend go to her head and it has cost her the family she built. Will Ashley be ready to accept her blame? Will Tex give up on her?
Have to admit that after I Saw You, Ashley is not my favorite person and this book just kind of dug herself a deeper hole. I absolutely love Tex and think he has the patience of a saint. I absolutely loved a look into these two characters and cannot wait for the second book to come out!
*I Saw You Needs to be read before Unseen Heart Part 1*
Holy!!
I have no words right now… Unseen Heart part 1 is Tex and Ashley’s story.
We get to see the fallout from Ashley’s choices from I Saw You.
Unseen Heart picks up where I Saw You ended. Ashley now has nobody in her corner and has to deal with no longer being involved with the band or even in her best friend’s life.
Her hatred of Chester’s girlfriend/Fiancé blinds her to see reason or that everything is actually her fault. I hate that Ashley blames everyone but herself…I refer to her as a psycho alot but with her behavior, what else am I supposed to refer to her as? Elena has knocked it out of the park with this one, she can’t make me feel sorry for this character…yet or maybe ever. Only time will tell if Ms. Reyes can get me to feel sorry for Ashley. Can’t wait for part 2 of this story!!
This picks up after I Saw You. Ashley is still spoiled believing the world revolves around her, but there is hope for her with Tex…Maybe. Ashley is someone you love to hate.
The story was well written and enjoyable. Elena has a way of drawing you in, keeping you there. There is angst of course, but there is also loyalty as well as humor.
The loyalty is tested making you wonder is it worth all the aggravation and pain.
The angst in the story is Ashley being…well Ashley. She has to pay for her crimes against her friends and to her, it is a bitter pill to swallow.
The story was well written by Ms. Reyes, I have read several of her books thus far and I have enjoyed each other them. There is tons of angst, yes, but she makes it realistic. People make poor decisions in their lives on a daily basis, mix in fame, money, etc and you have the making of even more drama. The end had my toes curling.
Oh the angst on this. I was really curious about Ashley and Tex since the I Saw You. I hated Ashley. Homegirl was on another level of crazy and had the author deviated from that in this book I would have lost interest, but she didn’t. Ashley maintains her earned certifiable psychotic bitch status and the author stays authentic to her character and although Tex was definitely surprising. His chill factor from i Saw you was in play, his hate blurred lines.
The plot kept my attention. Ashley was still the same cuntasaures, and the ending.. well I lll have to wait and see
This is the first time I have read any of this authors’ work, and my word, I cannot wait to get 1 clicking! This is the first part of a duet, and is Tex and Ashley’s story, and the love / hate relationship they have going on. No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a well written and beautiful story, which is filled with angst, twists, suspense, emotion, and is a gritty and heart-wrenching storyline. I was intrigued and hooked throughout, but be warned there is the dreaded huge cliffy! I cannot wait for the second book to find out what happens to this couple.

Unseen Heart (Part One) by Elena M. Reyes
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Fuck you Ashley…I mean that alone should make you be like DAMN what’s up with that drama? IamIright????
Now I will say, I have not read I Saw You and I would recommend you do read it so you have a better understand of why in the hell Tex hates Ashley….LOL But honestly after reading the story you get it..you know why he hates Ashley…I mean I am not saying she didn’t deserve to be hated but she prolly did!! Look she is a straight up beeotch and uber selfish. I don’t care. I don’t like her…Come give me a cuddle Tex
Ok so the review before you all think I am outta my mind which I kinda am but anyway………….
First up CLIFFHANGER so you have been warned. I don’t want to see any people complaining they did know because YO it’s in shouty caps for you!! Now I loves me a cliffhanger, but a lot of people don’t like it and I get that but DANG this one is crazy as a MO!!! SO if you are a cliffy hater then you might wanna wait til the final book releases!!
Tex and Ashley …man they need some Dr. Phil in their life. They are all about game playing and messing with each other because they hate each other so much but is it really hate or it is love…ya know that thin line and all that jazz.
