Devon walks into his bar looking for a job. But, one look at the tatted, silver fox and she knows she’s found her man.

This is the second book in the Creed MC series and loved it just as much if not more than the first. Meat and Devon are perfect for each other despite their age or a secret that is so hard to tell that is causes quite a stir in their budding relationship. I really enjoyed how this book ended and the way in which it got there.
Narration was fantastic. Rodney has an amazing gravely voice that is perfect for Meat aka Roger.
I loved this story!! This was the 2nd book in the Creed MC series. I love a good age gap storyline and this one was friggin awesome. Great character’s again…Roger and Devon were perfect for each other. And it’s the kind of dark romance I can’t get enough of and Jax Hart can and does deliver a great story.
Already waiting on delivery of the next book as I write this review.
Highly recommend this MC series!!
After reading Duke, I couldn’t wait to read Rog’s story and it did not disappoint. Rog and Devon have amazing chemistry. This book is so good and has a lot of other characters that really add to how great the book is. Jax Hart knows how to write a hot and sexy book with so many other elements thrown in. It’s like a dramatic action packed steamy book lol
This book was so much better then SOA. Rog is in need of some serious loving and Dev is just the right woman to give it to him. Add in some past to present drama and this club is rocking. You definitely need to come a knocking.
Has Meat met his match in Devon? Great MC book!
I just love these Creed MC books by Jax Hart. This is Devon and Roger’s story. Devon goes to Springfield looking for answers about her biological parents. She doesn’t bank on falling for a man twice her age. Will her secret destroy her chance at happiness? Roger never thought he’d find a woman if his own to share a life with. He had his club, they were his family. Devon is everything he didn’t know he wanted. But she has a secret that could implode everything. Another 5 star review well deserved. I am looking forward to the next in the series.
Another smash hit by Jax Hart! This is a twisted as the first book. This story was crazy good! I loved getting to know Roger aka the Silver Fox better! I liked the name Meat but I am glad Roger was used through the book. It made him more relatable. I loved that he took over the bar/restaurant and that he cooks! Not only that but his eating habits…what a surprise! Actually this man is a complete surprise all the way around. Now…That Devon is a wild cat! She knew what she wanted and went after it or should I say him. She has a wonderful friend in Luce. Her time spent with Toad was so much fun to listen to. The things she made him do as well as how friendly they became. He was a great add as a secondary character.
This is my second book by this author and in this series. I CAN NOT wait for more. This is a series i stumbled onto and i hope there are many more. I listened to this on audio. This was narrated by Rodney Falcon and he just keeps getting better and better with these voices.
I have absolutely no words. I can’t get enough of this series. This is the #2 book and it’s Roger aka Silver Fox & Devon’s turn for a HEA. Devon came to Springdale to start over and to find out who her real parents were. Not realizing all along this is where she would find herself and her future.
So page turning good, intense, intrigue, roller coaster of a ride, addictive and oh so steamy. I need more! Jax’s imagination & Rodney’s narration brought this story to life. Eagerly waiting #3.
This book was so good! I am a fan of older man/younger woman stories and MC romance, so this was a perfect mix for me. I loved Roger and Devon. They had such chemistry and an amazing emotional connection. The storyline is entertaining and keeps your interest easily. With drama, secrets, steamy passion, tender emotions, and lots of sweet love, this book with touch your heart and scenes that will make you sweat from the heat.
Damn is all I can say about this book. If you know what MC life is like then this story is one you are going to love. We finally get to read about Meat aka Roger. He’s this silver fix of a man who thinks that life is good but when Devon comes rolling into town to find out about her past. Let’s just say these two are two of a kind and so damn perfect for one another. We get the back story of what went down but it’s a new time and things can and will change. But not before things go to hell. Looking forward to reading more about that in Undone. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
Unscripted returns to Springdale in this second story in the Creed MC Series by Jax Hart and narrated by the express voice of Rodney Falcon.
This is Rodgers story aka Meat, in his hay day he was the enforcer of the club, also the body guard for Shanna Flynn the MC presidents daughter, during and while she grew up. Now he runs the bar Sassy Wrench.
Which brings us to Devon St. John, the newest resident to Springdale looking for answers, finding a job at Sassy’s, she also finds more answers than she bargained for, also a love she wasn’t looking for. This book can be listened to as a stand-alone, but I would suggest you listen to Duke first.
I LOVED Roger and Devin’s story, There chemistry sizzling HOT, Again Rodney delivered another brilliant audiobook that pulls you in to Rog and Devin’s story. Like previous audio if you like MC romance with a great story line, great characters and lots of emotion, this Audio is for you.

Fantastic!!!
Jax Hart did it again! This book was absolutely brilliant! The chemistry between Devon and Rog was simply sizzling and the journey they take together will keep you captivated waiting to see what happens next.
I loved the storyline, the characters, and it captured my interest from beginning to end. I definitely recommend this book you won’t be disappointed!!!
The narration by Rodney Falcon was superb!!! His performance and voice kept me intrigued and I listened to this book all in one night! Any book narrated by Rodney Falcon will be an automatic dowload for me!!!!
I LOVED Rog and Devin’s story! Jax Hart never fails to amaze me with his writings. You can feel the emotions of every character he writes and these characters were no exception. As always, a job well done Jax!
4.5
This is absolutely amazing. Rog and Dev are perfect for each other. They make me smile. I have a great fondness for their story. Their journey together is adventurous. I did take of half a star because there was a few times where I wasn’t sure who was talking. The flow of this book is remarkable. Highly recommend this book.
I absolutely loved reading the story of Roger and Devon. This is the second book in the Creed series and has character crossovers from the previous book Duke. Devon comes to Springdale to find out about her past and to start a new job at the high school after the summer break. While waiting for school to start she meets Roger, the part owner of the Sassy Wench who gives her a job. The attraction between Roger and Devon grows stronger and as much as Roger fights it, the harder he falls. With the surprises and obstacles they face throughout this book, I couldn’t put it down and it gave me a roller coaster of emotions. I would recommend this to all
Holy moly this book blew me away I absolutely adored every bloody word written here.
The previous in the series “Duke” I enjoyed this I devoured; I can’t express just how much I loved this book and if I could rate “Unscripted” any higher I so would.
So this is set after “Duke” and has Meat/Rog running the Sassy Wench in Springdale; When Devon; flirty and thirty; High school teacher breezes into town looking for answers and decides Roger’s establishment is where she’s gonna get these elusive questions acknowledged.
Desperate for knowledge and having the experience needed (Former Hooters girl) Devon Signs on to waitress for the summer at the Sassy Wench.
Meat/Roger is instantly enamoured by the sexy school teacher he’s lovingly labelled jailbait but doesn’t quite trust her reasons for being in his town.
Former soldier in arms of the disbanded Springdale chapter; he was the muscle back in his day and is still heavily involved in club life; once family always family.
Rog is determined to uncover all of Devon’s secrets; while trying to still keep as far away from Dev as he can; as this is one woman that could easily break his status-quo.
So, do you know what my favourite factor in “Unscripted” was; the characters ages; yeh there are loads of romances out there that deal with young twenty-year-old girls and hot older men.
But this story featured an older age gap couple and I couldn’t have loved it any more.
This was a major plus for me and so refreshing to see someone older portrayed in such a positive light; I know an older man can be extremely sexy; I have my own silver fox after all, but it’s not very often we get one portrayed as the Male Hero in a romance novel so I was loving this unique aspect of “Unscripted”.
I adored how Roger, Devon’s sexy silver fox was portrayed here.
He was a gruff, rude, stubborn, set in his ways oldie; but also protective, loving and loyal with it.
A heart the size of Texas; A big buff grizzly bear; my only slight annoyance with him was his sheer stubbornness, but I ultimately let that slide on account of Rog’s total manly hotness; I am a girl after all.
“unscripted” has been one of my most fave reads in a while it just got to me.
I liked everything about it; It was told in dual POV; my fave and had an abundance of interesting and intriguing characters; all well fleshed out so you felt like you really got to know the whole gang.
There was a fantastic side story and you were just waiting for everything to implode dramatically for poor Devon; I do feel in that instance Devon maybe got a bit of a raw deal, the parent’s sins are so not the kids and all that jazz; thank god for the voice of reason Shanna.
And that’s another reason there to pick this up; the lovely Duke and Shanna; Although not heavily featured here they do make a couple of appearances and it was so lovely to catch up with them and see how they were getting on.
All though with that, I will say this can be read as a standalone no issue at all.
“Unscripted” is set in the MC world but it’s not heavily relied on here for story development.
Its just part of a bigger picture; that makes up this engaging tale; an extra piece of the puzzle that is “Unscripted”.
This has twists and turns aplenty and is a fantastic second book to what was already a great series; can’t wait to experience more in the world that is “Creed”.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of “UnScripted” of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Roger is a seasoned lone wolf that spends his days and nights running his bar where most of the patrons are members of his motorcycle club. He has made a point of riding alone after the bitter experience of unrequited love over two decades ago. The last thing he expected was to fall for a spirited woman almost half his age. Devon has recently been told the whereabouts of her birth parents. She never thought that her journey of self discovery would put her in the path of a silver fox, but sometimes when you uncover the truth about your past it can unravel your future. Secrets have a way of destroying trust, but sometimes love and circumstance can overcome the feelings of betrayal. Jax Hart has a way of making you connect with these characters emotionally and will have you anticipating how this unique love story will end.
Devon comes to Springdale at 30 yrs old to find out about her past. See she’s adopted. She finds out her mom and her father who was married to someone else was buried here. She gets a job at a bar called Sassy and runs into the boss Roger aka Meat. He doesn’t know her story but falls hard for her even though he’s a lot older. Things come to a head and a rival member comes gunning for her.
Devon came to Springdale to learn about her past. That’s how she finds herself waitressing at the Sassy Wench Tavern.
Roger, Meat as he’s known to the MC, is owner of the tavern and a founding member of the Creed MC. He rode as their enforcer for years. Now Roger is running a restaurant/bar and trying to keep his eyes and hands off his new employee. It’s not easy when she keeps flirting with him. He fails miserably.
Dev came to Springdale for answers but meeting Rog has put her in danger. His need to protect her is strong, almost as strong as his need to possess her. Dev’s too young. She deserves better. All hope may be lost when Roger finds out who Dev really is and the real reason she’s in Springdale.
I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK ! I DIDN’T WANT IT TO END ! WELL WRITTEN WITH UNEXPECTED TWISTS AND LOTS OF SURPRISING TURNS ! HIGH INTENSE EMOTION AND LOTS OF PASSION FILLED, BREAK THE BED SEX ! ! ! GREAT READ !
(impatiently awaiting Smith and Luce’s story)
Oh my, I am kicking myself for not discovering Jax Hart sooner! MC romances are one of my kryptonite reads and an older guy/younger woman is another. Unscripted is both of them in one. Not your typical MC story, Roger isn’t an active member in the Creed MC anymore. Bad blood broke the club and Roger stayed in town alone with his memories. Without anyone to call his own Roger has gotten gruff and rough around the edges. When Devon breezes into town, renting an apartment in his building, he figures she is up to something. She starts working as a waitress in his bar. He knows he shouldn’t be into her; she is so much younger than him and an employee. So he keeps his distance. But Devon isn’t interested in distance. At first she just wanted to get information. She came to town for that purpose but she didn’t count on falling in love… with the town and a certain growly hot bar owner. But the secret she is keeping could destroy everything she has discovered on her search for answers. Too scared that he would hate her and she would lose the MC who have become her family, will she take a chance on the truth?
This book was fantastic! If I could, I would give this book 6 stars, it is that good! The writing is tight, the characters so vivid you know them like friends. I had such a hard time pulling myself away from Roger and Devon to do those pesky adult things like work and sleep. This is a sequel to Duke but I hadn’t read it yet and I had no problems reading Unscripted as a standalone. Now I am definitely going to go get Duke and get ready for book 3 Undone about Devon’s friend Luc and Smith the president of Creed MC.
