Great end to the series even though I would love for Ms. Hardt to write more about the Steel brothers and sister! The mystery that the Steel siblings and the women that they fall try to solve throughout this series was so interesting, fascinating, twisted, and mind blowing. Ms. Hardt sure knows how to make the unexpected happen with the mystery because whatever came next seems to be always unexpected. The unexpected kept us guessing what would come next and trying to figure out the answers along with the Steel brothers. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series and this ending didn’t disappoint!
Okay so when I last,
Ruby & Ryan were staying at a hotel because she had gotten a text message to not go back to her apartment.
When Ruby gotten to her hotel her Dad was there waiting for her. He then lead her to a different room in the hotel. When Ryan & Talon had gotten to the room Ruby was nowhere to be found. Ryan & Talon went to Ruby’s apartment to see if she was and she wasn’t there. But they did find their Father’s ring from the future law makers club.
Ruby been drugged by Bradford Steel in order to get the Steel kids to where he is. Which is a small island on the outskirts of Jamaica.
When Ruby had gotten to the doom’s. She found herself unable to move. She was put in a room but couldn’t make-out who was in the room with her. As the drugs were coming out of her system, she soon realized that it was Juliet from Jamaica.
Then these 2 guys came in with black sky masks on and rapped Juliet right in front of her. Ruby couldn’t do anything about it. Juliet didn’t understand why the men hadn’t touched her, but Ruby know the answer to that question. She wasn’t going to tell Juliet because she wanted to keep her calm.
Theodore had came to the room where Ruby & Juliet where and brought Ruby back to his office. So that they could talk. Then Theo told Ruby that the Steel Boys were on their way to the Island. Ruby didn’t want Ryan nowhere near that palace, but she also needed him too.
Ryan & Talon rented a yacht to take them to the Island to where Ruby is. While Ryan was keeping watch he had felt something on the ring that he hadn’t found on Theo’s ring. It turned out what he found the coordinates to the Island where the dooms are.
Before Ryan & Talon gotten to the Island, Theo took Ruby & Juliet to the sister island where Bradford & Daphne Steel are living. Daphne seemed to have a problem with her memories. She is carrying around a baby doll and calling it Angela as her daughter.
Brad was trying to explain what he could to Ruby but he wanted to tell his kids the truth before anyone else.
Can’t wait to see what comes next.
Ryan and Ruby, along with the rest of the Steele family go through so much and finally get all the puzzle pieces they were looking for. People can change right? Some say yes and some don’t think it is possible. With unlikely and surprising help the Steele family will find unsavory people doing unspeakable things but finally get justice for all the past wrongs. If you have followed the story through the first 8 books you must continue to get those answers with them. If you have yest to start this series I have to ask…What are you waiting for? Helen Hardt will not let you down.
Amazing finish to a wonderful series I will be reading it again probably sooner rather than later. The whole series was a roller coaster ride of emotions for me and I loved every bit of it.
Unraveled (Steel Brothers Saga, #9) was a great read by Helen Hardt. Ruby and Ryan know they are both in love. They need to find the answers they’re looking for before they can move forward with their relationship. New threats appear with figures appearing from their past. It seems as if they are being pulled apart by many unexpected forces. This was another great read by Helen Hardt, I have loved reading Ryan and Ruby’s story.
Ryan’s and Ruby’s story is one that fascinated me because she’s a law enforcement officer involved in something that might ultimately force her to break the law. Where would she land?
I feel for Ryan because it feels like no matter what, he will lose, or will he?
Can’t wait to read the next book!
AMAZING is only the word to decribe this book. The growth of all the character since the beginning has been outstanding to read. There is so much suspense, love, mystery, and chemistry. This is by far the best series I have ever read. All 9 books are a MUST READ!
Loved this series can’t wait till Marjorie book comes out
Can’t wait for the last books
Ruby, Ryan, and the Steels will finally uncover the shocking revelations behind everything and every moment that had led them to this will pale in comparison to the truths divulged. The search for answers has lead Ruby right into the arms of the monster that knows no boundaries. He promises answers and swears only honorable intentions, but can evil really make such promises? Ryan frantically begins his search for his light and love. There is little question as to whom took her but the thought of his brave sweet Ruby being at his mercy is untenable. Finding Ruby involves going into the belly of beast but there is little he wouldn’t do for her. There they just may find the answers to all the secrets that have long plagued them all.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.
Well, I need to talk about author, Helen Hardt. She has just blown my mind! I received “Craving” for free and it was fantastic, so I bought the remaining 8 books in the Steele Brothers Series. Then, I bought all 9 audiobooks because I love to listen to the voices. The narrators were perfect! The storyline was amazing; not what I was expecting at all. I love how a male narrator and female narrator took turns, back and forth. Each book tells part of the overall story, and it will keep you reading/listening till the end. No laggy parts. I highly recommend this brilliant series!
This book was a fantastic end to an amazing series. Totally worth the read. My only complaint is that there isn’t another one coming.
I loved this series and wish that it had not ended. We still want more.
So sad for the series to end!!! Loved it!!!
Must-read
All the lies, deceit, intrigue and mystery are finally unraveled. The questions are answered and truths revealed. The true malevolence of Wendy Madigan shows its horrific face. Brad Steel finally tells his side of the story to a mostly unsympathetic audience. There are heart wrenching scenes at the end of the book that brought me to tears but there is also joy at last when all the Steels know there is nothing more precious than love.
A suspenseful, scorching and bittersweet ending to the Steel Brothers Saga that’ll be impossible to forget…
Oh Christ, things are about to get totes emosh around here. I am a certified mess. I knew this moment was coming, but it only just hit me now—F.M.L. I can’t do this. I can’t say goodbye. I categorically cannot bring myself to do it. This series has been EVERYTHING to me. I have lived it, breathed it, loved it, loathed it…bawled it and drooled it. You name it and this series has done it to me. I crave it and I have obsessed over it to the point where it has completely possessed my every thought and need…my very soul. It has burned me to the core and melted my heart so that I had no choice but to surrender to every feeling and emotion it elicited in me. It shattered me and twisted me in ways and directions I never thought possible, and it has now completely and utterly unraveled me…in every which way. So yes, I’m a mess. An emotional mess. I’m hurting and euphoric. It has broken and healed my heart and soul… I just can’t believe this is it. I’m not ready for this to be it.
I have ranted and raved about the Steel Brothers Saga from the moment I dove into it. This has been such a murky and sinister journey—completely unpredictable. I did not see it panning out the way it has. Oh my Helen Hardt, what have you done? This series is to me what cookies are to the Cookie Monster. I can’t get enough of it. The plot throughout has been stellar. It took me to places that were strange and uncomfortable, yet it never made me cringe. By all means the erotic element should not work with the underlying theme, but it does. Oh so well. There were moments where I felt at odds with myself. It made me feel dirty and yet so so chaste and clean. Believe me, there is nothing of me that would ordinarily be considered those things!
I was expecting something special from Unraveled, but what I got was just phenomenal. It’s like nothing I’ve ever read. The suspense had me constantly on the edge of my seat. There were points where I wanted to sit Ms. Hardt down and ask her just what on God’s good earth she was thinking and just how she thought up these incredible twists and turns that had me panicking, itching and just about turning feral over the plot unfolding before me. There were times where it got pretty freaking 007 and cunning. You know, I’d be quite happy living in Helen’s mind. Through all the messed up occurrences this was a romance that had me with tissues at the ready and tears brimming my eyes most of the way through. Despite all the darkness, it was such a beautiful and touching world to live in.
Ryan and Ruby were a force to be reckoned with. Together they were impenetrable and apart they were so strong and grounded. I didn’t think that I was going to be so entranced with Ryan as I am. He is this Alpha male that has a soft and yielding side to him that makes him irresistible. Honestly, I wasn’t taken by his physicality, for me it was his persona. He is such a multifaceted character, it almost feels like it’s impossible to grasp exactly who he is, and I think that that is a big part of his journey. I wouldn’t necessarily say that he’s a broken soul, although there are some cracks, to me he felt more like a lost soul. Like he needed to be guided to more. If that makes sense? He was incomplete. He had everything he could possibly need around him except for that person that holds your hand and leads you to that “more” that repletes you, and that is exactly who Ruby is for him. The woman is so steely (no pun intended), yet she is also so sweet and caring and she has this inexplicable thing about her that is so pure and brilliant. I was completely beguiled by her. She’s kick-arse, but she’s also vulnerable. She’s had a pretty hard life, yet she never whines about it. She doesn’t feel sorry for herself. She’s very straightforward even in her complexities. I just adore her. Period.
I really cannot process that this is it, and what an ending it was. Unraveled answered every question, tied up every loose end whilst it kept the romance alive. It shouldn’t have been so easy to get lost in the romance when there was so much going on. There were more ghosts, demons and witches than in entire series of Charmed and all the Harry Potter books put together. I have to admit that I almost didn’t live to tell the tale after this book—that ending…aaaaaaaaaaargh! But, I had to pull through it so I could just put it ONE request:
Can I please have Marg’s story, please? Pretty, witty, on my hands and knees pleeeeeeease.
The epic ending to the Steel Brothers saga! So many answers to the many questions that have plaqued us as readers throughout the series. We have read of Jade and Talon. Of Jonah and Melanie. And now Ryan and Ruby. All the answers come down to finding the truth on the island. Some answers only create more questions. But in the end, we finally have closure. This series has kept us wanting more. It has kept us turing thhe pages quicker to find out what was next for these brother.
The love these brothers share with their women is fierce. The sex is passionate. The mystery surrounding their family and all the secrets is epic! Helen Hardt is an amazing author who has kept us chomping at the bit for more. And as always, she doesn’t disappoint.
Received an advanced copy thanks to NetGalley. All I can say is WOW! What an ending to the Steel Brothers Saga. So much suspense. So much hot chemistry between Ryan and Ruby. So many twists and turns and one killer ending. What an awesome series! Thanks for the ride Helen Hardt.
I need more than 5 stars for this book and this entire series!!!!
WOW… just WOW… my mind is blown. within the first few pages, i was yet again hooked. This is the final book in the Steel Brothers Saga and I’m so sad to see them go. But Helen Hardt blew this one out of the damn park!!! Seriously… This book will take you down a dark and twisted road. What you thought you knew… prepare to have your mind shattered.
The connection between Ruby and Ryan continues to grow. The suspense this book will give you if you are anything like me it will keep you reading page after page. I stayed awake just to finish this book because I HAD TO KNOW. and that ending…
This series is not one to miss and after reading all 9 of them I must say that this is by far the most epic of them all. You get all your questions answered but let me tell you, it’s so not what you think.
