I love this series so much! This was the perfect sequel!! And Warner, oh my!
The last book ended with Juliette having hope and almost being a bit happy(ish), she was excited with all the new opportunities being shown to her.
This book started of two weeks later with her being back to her sad self and throwing a pity party for herself, excluding herself from Omega Point.
BUT, she does bounce back and starts to fight again …
The second I read the back of the book, I knew I would love it! I disliked Warner in the beginning, but towards the end when he kissed her, up until then I was constantly thinking, ‘come on Warner…! Kiss her already!!!” And when they did, I could imagine it so well, it was unreal… I was sad when she remembered Adam though…
Overall, …
This one-of-a-kind made my heart hurt for the characters
Awesomely and frustratingly addictive
I’m 100% hooked on this series .
Even though Juliette is frustrating at times I want to shake her and say stop being stupid lol but then I remember all she’s been through and I excuse her ignorance .
I love Adam . I do. And I can just see he’s going to lose . I really really don’t want him to but something …
After finishing ‘Shatter Me’, I needed this immediately. Wow, the feels! This one sees them start to settle into a different sort of lifestyle but also has a gut-wrenching twist (or 3!) that I won’t share here. Brilliantly executed and with Mafi’s beautiful writing all the while.
Left me hanging, there is a cliffhanger. I’m off to read ‘Ignite …
Oh my poor heart! I feel like it’s stopped and started a million times over while reading this absolutely unpredictably, unputdownable book! I love Juliette and Warner and Kenji and the world in which they live is so very darkly dangerous. I can’t believe some of the twists that were introduced here! I can’t get enough of this gloriously …
There might be mild spoilers in this review so if you don’t want to get spoiled, go and read the book and then come back. After the ending of the first book, I was so excited to see what happens next.
So Juliette, Adam, and James are taken by Kenji to this rebellion group that are against the Reestablishment. I was so excited to see how this …
My favorite book in the trilogy! I love Juliet’s decision to end the love triangle and she made the best choice! There are parts of this book that made my heart melt. This is one of the best series I have ever read.
I think overall it was really great. I liked how jullite finally discovered to be much more then a little shy crying kid that was in an insane asylum.
These books are some of the most original, creative, well-written books I’ve had the immense pleasure to read. Definitely adding Mafi to my top 5 favorite authors list, right up there with Suzanne Collins, Amy Bartol and Veronica Roth. Seriously amazing writer and books that had me ripping through pages. I read the first 3 books in about 4 days …
Unravel Me was everything I wanted in a sequel to Shatter Me. I loved the action, adventure, the drama and the characters.
I wasn’t really sure to feel about Warner in this book. I definitely disliked him in book 1, but there was a humanizing that occurred in book 2 that left me very conflicted.
The struggle with Juliette and Adam was …
Unravel Me is a great moving book to get us to book 3. It shows Juliette’s fantastic growth with her abilities and her own self-image. It is a bit slow, but has many twists that I was not expecting. I love the complicated nature that comes with being friends with Juliette. Being that I listened to the audiobook, I’d like to say that the narrator …
