Four Doms who have never met their match, meet Samantha. Obsession over obligation. Pleasure over pain. Submission over sensibility. Courage over consequences. She died. Well almost. And still, Samantha Hunter wanted more. More of what, she didn’t quite know, but she’d been searching for it forever. She definitely was not looking for a walking complication like Oleg Balashov. With a … Oleg Balashov.
With a commitment to an arranged marriage, there was no room for love in Oleg’s life, no time for submissive beginners who needed training, no need for anything more than the simple clarity of a mutually beneficial transaction. His fellow Doms were the only people worth counting on. Then Samantha walked into his club.
Even in Paris, the daughter of a United States Senator doesn’t belong with a Russian mafia prince, but she’s a fearless and inexperienced submissive about to rewrite all the rules for the Masters at Club Duval.
Contemporary Polyamorous Romance. Slow burning it up with three standalone books in the upcoming Unmatched Series.

I read this book awhile ago but the second one will be out in June so I reread to make sure I am up to speed. I think Alyssa Turner writes amazingly well. I know not everyone likes cliffhangers but I think there great dont always like the waiting game but beggers can’t be choosers. Great characters awesome storyline and I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
WOW, this book is kinky, hot, and steamy. Oleg ‘s walking that fine line between legal and not, trying to show his loyalty and honor his family’s wishes. Samantha is the daredevil she’ll try anything take on any challenge, but she always feels like she’s missing something. Great Story & Audiobook Listen Captivating & SmokingHot!
Unmeasured
By: Alyssa Turner
Narrated by: Addison Rose, Jack Walters, Adam Riley, Veronica Lacroix
I enjoyed this book immensely, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. Alyssa Turner is a gifted author, she creates stories that are entertaining and high on heat and this book is no exception. This is no ordinary BDSM erotic romance, it is so much more. The characters and world dynamics are complex and well developed. We are first introduced the the characters when they were young, we meet Samantha Hunter at her seventh birthday party when she got herself into some trouble. Her Mom, a senator wanted her to behave a certain way but Samantha was fearless and she did what she wanted without any regards. We then get a glimpse into the brotherhood of five, Oleg, Henri, Paolo, Ivan and his older brother Alexander, they lived together at the Duval House while attending school, Lycée Militaire de Navarre. The story picks up ten years later, the brotherhood of five’s bond is stronger than ever, in addition to successful careers they are Masters of the Club Duval. And when Samantha walks in their club not only is she enthralled by what she sees she also catches their attention. Oleg has connections to the boss of the Russian syndicate, Dimitri Balashov, he owes him a debt and is repaying that debt with an arranged marriage to the daughter of the Armenian mob boss for a power play. But Samantha throws him off of his game. There is a lot of depth to this story, it is cleverly plotted, the mob connection and storylines bring in danger and in a way so does Samantha’s fearlessness. The story is cleverly plotted and contains plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, some heartfelt and emotional moment, some hot scenes and romance. Thank you Alyssa Turner, thank you for this terrific story, I am looking forward to what comes next for Samantha and the Dom of Club Duval.
And for the terrific narration, Alyssa Turner chose the perfect cast of narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Addison Rose, Jack Walters, Adam Riley and Veronica Lacroix are talented voice artists. They did a great job portraying the characters, humanizing them, giving each their own voice and personality. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured the characters emotions and projected them into their performances. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen.
This book is definitely for mature audiences only and will have your eReader melting so proceed with caution. Samantha was a born with the part of her brain that controls fear underdeveloped. She has learned where the boundaries should be, but continually pushes the edges.
Oleg, Henri, Ivan, Paolo and Alexander have been friends/brothers/doms for years. Each year on the anniversary of Oleg’s mother’s death they take on and train a sub for a year. This year they may have just met their match.
Samantha talks her roommate who is Alex’s ex into taking her to a party at Club Duval. Samantha intrigues all the men, except for Alex who is out of the country. Oleg doesn’t feel that he has time this year to get involved as he is supposed to enter into an arranged marriage, but oh boy, does fate have other plans. Samantha is unlike anyone the guys have ever encountered and soon has all four of them questioning their beliefs. While she tests her boundaries, she also tests theirs and it is fun to see how all of them deal with this new equation and the bumps along the way. This book does end on a cliffhanger and I am looking forward to reading part 2.
Wow! We follow Samantha, a politician’s daughter looking to fulfill her inner most desires. Then she meets four Doms who will help her but she is someone they’ve never come across as they begin to lose control. This one ends in a cliffhanger and I look forward to the next story to see what happens. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Let me start off by saying this was the first words I’ve ever read by Alyssa Turner… and I can guarantee you they won’t be my last! I was enthralled from the first words and they kept my eyes glued right until the very end… and when I got there, I was looking around for more!
This story is about Samantha – a complicated and in depth human being… who happens to stumble upon Oleg – who just so happens to be promised to another woman for a marriage of convenience to help clear up some debts that his family has with another. As much as Oleg tries to avoid his attraction to Sam, there’s just no denying it. His Dom friends join in on the fun, and suddenly they are now 4 hot af guys under Sam’s spell. She’s not even topping from the bottom as a sub – she’s simply running the show.. .once she realizes how they feel about her, and how much she is falling for them as well. There are so many other things going on as well – family being the main one.. on both sides. His family is part of the mafia .. and her mother is a US Senator… this could make things a bit more complicated than they may have thought….
The dynamic that the characters share, is second to none. I don’t remember reading anything written so well. There’s many ups and downs in this story, but it kept my attention the entire time. I read the first few chapters that were released, then immediately begged the author to SEND. ME. MORE. I’m super stoked to read the next book in the series… and then update myself with the rest of her works. She’s definitely earned her spot near the top of my TBR list!
Sexy, clever, and intriguing… I’m hooked!
Ms. Turner did the most AMAZING job of character development i believed i have ever seen. I usually only read BDSM some book series, because it was introduced AFTER I was several books into those characters and overarching plotlines. It is totally NOT my thing. I read the prologue in an author newsletter, and I had to have more. So, I downloaded the free sample, just to see what happened in the next few chapters. I could not stop thinking about these characters and what was happening in their lives! I finally broke down and bought the whole book because I could not stop thinking about them. Even though I, personally, am not into the BDSM lifestyle, I actually enjoyed the thoughtful, intriguing way it was presented in this book. I appreciated getting to “explore” along with Samantha, while at the same time having certain . . . aspects explained rather than just shoved in my face. Very well written and respectful (it seems to me, as an outsider) of the full spectrum of indulgences of the BDSM lifestyle, while at the same time offering a warning of “playing” without understandin
This is the first book in the Unmatched Series. This is a great introduction to Samantha, and The Masters of Club Duval, Oleg, Henri, Ivan, and Paolo. The characters a well developed, and intriguing. The story is steamy, with BDSM scenes. The storyline is filled with drama and suspense, and the epilogue ends abruptly on a cliffhanger. Looking forward to listen to Unleashed, the next book in the Series. The cast of four narrators is amazing. Addison Rose, Jack Walters, Adam Riley, and Veronica Lacroix did an amazing job with the narration.
This Kind of Trouble Is Lots of Fun!
4.5 stars – Wow! This is a unique read, from my perspective, in many ways. I don’t want to give anything away but let’s just say that Samantha finds herself with four Doms who are set on training her. The trouble is that she’s not a typical sub and that challenges all of them.
“She fit in with them like the complicated jigsaw puzzle piece that she was. Only one woman was right to slot in between all of them.” –Oleg Balashov
This book is crazy hot and sometimes just plain crazy. It’s a bit dark on occasion with an arranged marriage, addicts, human trafficking, and other related mafia dangers. There is also a cliffhanger that has me needing to see what happens next.
I listened and read this book. I actually finished the audio a couple of days ago but the last few chapters really needed to be read, too. They are intense, amazing, and scary.
When it comes to the audio, Alyssa Turner spoils listeners by providing not one, not two, but FOUR narrators! It is nirvana for the ears! It was narrated by Addison Rose, Jack Walters, Adam Riley, and Veronica Lacroix.
I didn’t heed the author’s suggested reading order, simply because I didn’t realize there was one until it was too late, but I wish I had. I read or listened in a seemingly logical way but there are three smaller series interconnected and book one of each should be read before the book twos are started. Here’s the suggested reading order:
1. Polished, Polished bk 1
2. Unmeasured, Unmatched bk 1
3. Make Me
4. Swept, Polished bk 2
5. Unleashed, Unmatched bk 2
Story: 4.5 stars
Narration: 5 stars
Alyssa Turner is a new author to me, and Unmeasured blew me away. There is a cliffhanger at the end of this book, but it applies to the second book in this series. This does appear to be an on going series which I’m really looking forward to listening to it.
Ms Turner has done a superb job of character development in this story. Samantha is a wild child and this can lead to dangerous situations as she enters the BDSM world. I like how Oleg and his three friends who are all Doms agree to take her as their sub in order to provide her a safe and consensual experience. Samantha will be a constant challenge for these Doms! It is refreshing to have an author depict Doms as they should be. This story has angst, mafia ties, secrets, caring friends, and explosive\ly hot erotic scenes.
This group of narrators made this story come to life in all of the best ways. They gave the characters distinctive voices and did an outstanding job of making the listener experience the emotions of these characters. They immediately captured my attention and held it throughout the book. I highly recommend this Audible book. I will definitely listen to this book again. I hope that second book comes out in audiobook form soon.
I have really enjoyed each of Alyssa’s books that I have read. I just finished Unleashed when I realized I couldn’t find my review of Unmeasured on here. I first read Oleg and Samantha’s story last year and then again earlier this year. This book will introduce you to them, the Kings and the club. Expect a lot of kink, secrets, twists and turns. Samantha decides to explore the BDSM scene and ends up finding something she didn’t even know she needed in her life. When she goes to the club she meets the men. They all want to show her what being submissive means. She pretty much turns Oleg’s world upside down. He wants to be her Master, maybe more than he wants to fulfill family obligations. They both have families that could cause a lot of problems. The mafia and a US senator are in the picture so you know anything could happen. There are so many secrets flying around. They will keep you reading well into the night to see what is on the next page. You will be thankful that you can pick up Unleashed starting tomorrow. This book ended on a cliffhanger that made me wish book 2 was out to get my hands on.
She was a submissive and she was a Queen!
by sewsummore
Samantha was a woman who had no limits, every desire she had was granted, and in return, she gave back in coin all that she took and then some. This book was the story of Samantha’s coming of age as both submissive and master of erotic fantasy and emotional love. With Samantha, there was no such thing as restraint, and she raced headlong into life, eager to experience all that was available and sometimes some that were not. It was not possible to dislike Samantha, there was no dishonesty anywhere is her makeup, she came, and she conquered all before her, she was a submissive and she was a queen.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This was a good read. Started out strong and had a strong finish. There are plot lines that will likely be in the continued series. The characters are well developed, and look forward to hearing from them in the future. It shows us we all have some scars and experiences that make us who we are. Families are not always what we think of them to be. Sometimes we can find what we are looking for even if we are not looking. I enjoyed this book and will be looking forward to the next installment in June.

Twisted
Samantha tried to be a good girl. She really did. But Oleg and his Dom brothers (friends) brought out the bad girl that was itching to get out. Thank you to the author for gifting me this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
“You are the only force on this planet that can make me weak.”
This story was amazing! Alyssa Turner is a new author for me. I will definitely be continuing with more of her work. She created a wonderful world with the Masters of Club Duval, Oleg, Henri, Paolo, Alexander, and Ivan. The sex scenes were alluring, hot, sensual, and intense. Samantha is fearless and strong. She gives her Doms a heck of time during her sub training. I think she is as much of a Dom as they are! The Dom brothers are loyal to each other, and their bond is unbreakable. They respect and trust each other. I love their friendship/family-type bond and the interactions with each other. This was a story of Samantha’s (Sam’s) submission and Oleg’s need to dominate and love her. But I think this will end up being more of a love between at least 1 more of the Master’s with Samantha. Sam isn’t the only one who found what she’s been missing in life.
The narration: WOW!!! This was the perfect cast of narrators. They are great in their own right. Together, this ensemble is a force to be reckoned with. Their tone, pacing, pitch, and timing was flawless. This full cast narration did a great job portraying each character, giving them each their own voice and personality. They expertly projected their emotions, making for an immersive, unique, and entertaining listening experience.

It had a good long build-up, which isn’t what you’d expect in erotic romance, but it was a nice background to all the heat and sex in the last part of the book!
Four doms plus one adventure seeking politician’s daughter equals Yes, Please! Sam loves to take chances and once the door to BDSM is opened to her she cannot resist the magnetism that is Oleg Balashov… or his 3 best friends. What will they learn? What will they keep secret? What will they get up to?!! Must read!
4 Star review Unmeasured (Unmatched #1) by Alyssa Turner
AUDIO REVIEW:
I was drawn in to this story from the first chapter and it just built as I listened to it. Samantha has known for a long time that there was something missing but she didn’t know what it was. That is until she walks in to leg’s Club Duval. From the beginning the Masters want her and will not take no for an answer. I will warn you straight off that there is a cliff hanger so you have been warned.
This book is kinky, steamy and a little dark with plenty of mystery, suspense and some drama. It is a fast paced listen that will draw you in and keep you hooked. The need in Oleg to dominate Samantha is integral to the storyline and I admit to being intrigued by all the men, Henri, Paolo, Ivan and Alexander.
For Samantha the journey to find herself is eye opening, however just because she is submissive, it does not mean that she won’t stand up for herself when needed. When outside influences impact their relationship Oleg will have to make some hard choices. It’s a hard line to straddle between legal and illegal and Oleg struggles to be loyal to himself, his family and his “brothers”.
Unmeasured is a dangerous game of sharp edges and intense mystery. Turner takes things one step further with attraction that borders on extreme and more than hints at taboo. There should be a warning label attached to this electric, rapturous, edgy inferno. Breathlessly addictive.
