Angela’s everything I’ve ever looked for in a woman: Smart, successful, sexy as hell. There’s only one problem… closer, Angela pulls further away, hiding behind a cool, stoic mask.
Now, I have to somehow convince her to give me a chance… and Halloween too.
The tricks are almost as sweet as the treats in this stand-alone, interconnected story in the Love Demands a Holiday series.

Until next time… Happy Reading!
1:Hate IT! Didn’t finish; usually only given if/when some contents truly objectionable (i.e. main characters does something awful & gets away w/it!)
2:Don’t like IT! Rating means I felt the writing was poor, editing was bad, I don’t care for characters, or book had some major flaw.
3: I like IT, BUT! There are minor issues… Rating means there’s editing issues, needs character development, is too unrealistic, or has issues– I do not consider it an overall bad rating.
4:I like IT a lot. Great, Solid Story w/ few if any inconsistencies or errors. This is a HIGH Rating, & I rarely give OUT a Higher Rating.
5: I LOVE IT! It’s Spectacular, & I’ll read IT Over & Over Again. Few books Receive this rating from me. HowEver, those that DO become Classics.

She hates Halloween and he loves it…………can they still be right for each other
Back in Jubilee Falls once again and this time it is with Colton and Angela. She is the mayor and he is a child psychologist. Angela needs to host the best Halloween Masquerade Ball that the town has ever had. The only issue is that she hates Halloween and to be truthful it actually scares her. Her assistant Tru suggests that Angela ask for help from Colton because he loves the day and is the town’s expert. As they plan the ball they grow closer together. When Colton realizes that there are some deeper issues as to why Angela is afraid of Halloween he is determined to help her share these with him and help her get over them.
This story was a lot of fun to read. There were some very funny parts and then some more serious things along with some nice chemistry between Angela and Colton as their relationship grows.

Angela and Colton couldn’t be more opposite. She hates Halloween – he lives for it. But she’s the mayor, and one of her responsibilities is to plan the annual Halloween party for Jubilee Falls. When she asks for his help to plan this shindig, she gets more than she bargained for. This is a really nice book in the series – strong characters who have great chemistry, a great story for autumn. A little drama and a few plot twists later, and they’re headed for a happy ending.

Book six of the Love Demands a Holiday series. Mayor Angela Bartell hates and fears Halloween because of something in her past. Colton Black loves Halloween and everything about it. I enjoyed reading their story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another great book to the series. This one brings Angela and Colton’s story. Colton’s love for Halloween and Angela’s dislike along with their steamy chemistry makes this an entertaining read. It’s well written, moves fluidly and I enjoyed reading.

The story of Bolton and Angela really bothers me. Spoiler alert: Angela was afraid of all the Halloween horror decoration and costumes, especially masks, because of her real life trauma in early childhood. And Bolton, being a child psychologist and Halloween enthusiast, thought he knew better than Angela did herself, and deliberately forced her to “face the fear” I don’t know if he was cruel, naive, or just arrogant. But either way it did not make the male lead attractive. Among the few I’ve read of this author’s, this is the first one I really did not like, though. I am disappointed but will try another one.

This was another wonderful read in the Love Demands a Holiday series and is Angela and Colton’s story I liked these two and just loved how he took care of her and made her feel safe this was a really good well-written book with plenty going on to keep me reading right until the very end I have enjoyed this series and would recommend it
I really liked this story. There were some twists and a little angst, but it resolves. Colton loves Halloween. Angela does not love Halloween. The two of them together, doesn’t seem like it would work, but it does. Love how Colton makes Angela feel safe. Angela putting her fears aside to try to show Colton how important he was to her was beautiful. Love their happy ever after. Definitely recommend reading this hot and sweet story.

Colton and Angela couldn’t be more different in their likes. He loves Halloween and she’s terrified of the masks. When she asks him for help on the town Halloween party they can fight their attraction only so long.
Can she get past his like of Halloween? Can he help her with her fears?

Angela is the mayor and is having a problem planning the town’s annual Halloween party! She experienced a traumatic event when she was younger which has left her with a fear of Halloween! She turns to Colton the local authority on everything Halloween! He also happens to be a therapist. Colton tries to get her to open up to him, but she just wants to get through the holiday! Can a man who loves Halloween and a woman who is terrified of it have a future together? Great quick read that I would highly recommend!

This was an excellent addition to the Love Demands a Holiday series. The characters were true, raw, realistic, had background development, were strong, passionate, and had experienced both heartache and joy. The dialog was realistic and easy to follow. Rogue’s writing style flows so smoothly that the book just seems to fly past.
The overall theme of the book is the planning of the annual halloween festival. Angela, due to her own history, does not feel competent to plan the event, so Cole, the town Halloween expert, is asked to help. While they are planning, Cole and Angela become close, and she shares her reasons for struggling with Halloween. Cole does not pressure her, but instead takes over the planning to remove the stress.
When chaos breaks out, and both of them are left reeling, will there be anything left of their blossoming relationship?
