Wow! Can I just simply say how much I loved this book? Hound has had some traumatic injuries to his back. And as a recovering addict, he deals with constant pain. He’s a prospect only at this point with the Dead Presidents MC, still very new to the club. Then you add in Mila, Morse’s cousin, and things get really interesting. The best description of this book has to come from Ms. Stone’s own teaser. It states “He’s broken and she’s a mess, and that’s not even their biggest problem.” That said (or quoted), this has to be one of my favorite books, hands down. All the Dead Presidents books have been excellent, but Unleashing Hound is the best (in my humble opinion). I can’t wait for the next book!
Hound and Mila
When I read the first line of the blurb “Pain is a relentless master.” I had no idea how much the story would affect me and how true the line would prove to be. Ms. Stone describes the physical pain Hound experiences as well as the emotional pain Mila lives. Can the two broken people find a path to relief and love?
The support of the club is unwavering. There are surprises and a master of evil. The steam and chemistry are strong and real. Hound has gone through so much and deserves the support but is he strong enough to get the girl? Mila’s experiences have made her hide the real her–does she even know who she is? Will the two become their own salvation?
It is an emotional story with characters hard to forget and easy to care about. Another wonderful book in a wonderful series.
