The thing I loved about this book was we learnt quite a bit about T.J but he had so many hidden secrets and to really get into the nitty gritty regarding himself and his wife was really excited.
I couldn’t put this one down I really wanted to know what was happening with T.J and why he just up and left Cassie and what was keeping him away. I loved how this book wasn’t the start of a new love but a couple really trying to find their way back to each other.
I really felt for Cassie, she really had no idea why T.J left her and served her divorce papers but I must admit I loved her tenacity and her fight for her husband, loved that she was so hurt and strong at the same time.
T.J kept thinking he was doing the right thing for his wife, he thought he would save her hurt and be honourable by walking away. What he didn’t realise was that he was just hurting her, and really hurting himself. He annoyed me a little cause I kept yelling at the book to stop being so stupid but that’s what makes me love this book.
This book was about second chances, finding out who you are and fighting for what you love and believe. Loved how this book was different to the first book in this series. The writing is fantastic you won’t be disappointed picking up this series
Union of Sin – (The Vault) – Book 2
This book is about T.J. one of the Sin owners and his wife Cassie.
T.J. and Cassie have been married for a few years but for the past year they have been separated. The separation was T.J.’s idea with Cassie having no idea why he left their home six months ago. The first thing we learn is that T.J. is serving Cassie with divorce papers. Honestly, reading this as it happened did a number on me. She was blindsided by this and gutted and that was hard to read when you know you have a whole story to go!
As you get further into the story you also see the effect this is having on T.J. yet we have no idea what his thoughts are and why we are watching two people who obviously love each other come to terms with the end of what seemed to be a wonderful marriage.
Obviously there was something that happened and when we find out what it was it’s easy to understand why there would be issues, but also my first thought was why hadn’t they discussed this? Why was Cassie left for a year to suffer and why would T.J. not just step up and tell her?
In this case a T.J. an alpha male who believes he has let the love of his life down is not only hurting her but hurting himself. I never found Cassie as a weak woman, so why could T.J. not see this.
All Cassie wants is to have T.J. and their marriage back but can she convince T.J. she is strong enough to work on moving forward and being a couple again.
