I love Dan Walsh’s books. This one didn’t disappoint. It tells a story of WWII that is both interesting and romantic.
It’s just a great book!
Loved reading about the adventures of Jack and how the French lady and the American man met. Amazing how the twins were re-united.
Wonderful storyline! Never read a bad book by this author! you won,t be disappointed!
The WW II information was great!
It reminded me that our elders have a great deal of information to give to us if we’re willing to listen.
It was good to see the culmination of Jack and Rachel’s story.
Thanks Dan for another great story!
I really liked this book and this author. Good clean book. Story flowed well. Will buy more of His books
I really enjoyed the love story between the two characters. It was great and was easy to read as a stand alone.
A great historical novel depicting military and personal life during WW2. It cleverly starts with modern day characters from this series and uses an elderly grandmother’s memories to tell the wonderful romantic story. Well done, Mr. Walsh!!
This is the 3rd book in the Jack Turner series and it is different from the rest since Jack plays a minor role in this book. It is really a retelling of his Grandmother and Grandaddy’s love story. Again, it has a lot of history but it is still full of suspense and intrigue. A great read!
I enjoyed the series of three
wonderful read well worth the effort. holds interest, lots of interesting twists. sweet romantic era story.
Very good read.
I loved! I am not a big history fan but I saw WWII in a new light. I was discussing with my husband, my parents.
Loved it.. not quite what I expectrd.
I really liked this book
A personal look at the lives of civilians in Europe during WWII. What they had to sacrifice and the hardships they endured gives us pause to be thankful.
Could not lay this book, and the others of this series, down. Full of action and is fast moving.
An excellent read…entertaining but also based on WWII history which gives it more substance…great plot, setting, really enjoyed it!
The setting of WWII is a cleverly used time and space twist to the mystery of the twin brothers in this tale. The roles of the brothers initially in separate worlds collide in their service roles and personal lives as expertly woven in this edge of the seat page turner mystery.
this was just a great book, i would like to read the whole story more than just the Kindle version.
