The Fellowship saga continues with Kieran and Westlyn’s story in this standalone spinoff of The Sin Trilogy.Captor becomes lover… I don’t know.
A wife born into a position at the top of The Fellowship hierarchy.
A wife who will forge a strong alliance between her brotherhood and mine.
A wife I don’t want.
I knew next to nothing about Westlyn Breckenridge when I abducted her, but I quickly discover that she’s intelligent, strong, defiant, selfless. And beautiful.
One night with her is all it takes for me to see that she is no typical Mafia princess. I’m hopeful this arranged marriage won’t be the miserable union I imagined it to be. But convincing my intended to give us a chance won’t be easy when she sees me as the enemy. The brute who kidnapped her. The vile fiend who threatened to do as he wished with her body.
It’s true. I am all those things. I had cruel intentions. But everything has changed. My affection for her is unexpected. My love, unintended.
***Unintended can be read as a standalone novel although it is a novel accompanying The Sin Trilogy. It is best enjoyed after reading The Sin Trilogy and Endurance: A Sin Series Standalone novel.

Kieran and Westlyn’s story was my favorite from The Sin Trilogy. With that said, I believe Georgia Cates was at her best. She added just the right amount of dark side and romantic side. I would definitely recommend it to everybody.
Could not put this book down. The whole series is amazing. I love the complex relationship between the characters and the families. Your heart will ache, you will want to laugh and cry. The best rollercoaster ride!!!!!!
I received this book for free. Enjoyed the characters and story line so much, I bought all the other books in this series
Another amazing story from Georgia Cates! Unintended can absolutely be read as a standalone. It is a spinoff of The Sin Trilogy. However, I do recommend reading The Sin Trilogy to get the full experience.
The Fellowship and The Order are two crime organizations. A brotherhood of liars, thieves, and killers.
The Fellowship…. Their world is steeped deep in tradition, alliances, brotherhood and sacrifice. A marriage treaty must occur to form an alliance between The Order and The Fellowship.
Kieran Hendry, future leader of The Order, needs a wife to claim and follow in the footsteps of his hierarchy. It is his duty. One he was raised to follow through on. And one that he believes in. This marriage will strengthen the brotherhood and secure their alliances between The Order and The Fellowship. As a sign of good faith, his sister, Shaw, will also be offered in marriage to a Fellowship leader, as an equal offering.
“My first act as their future leader will be to enter into a marriage treaty with a Fellowship woman. Bring peace between The Order and their enemy, The Fellowship.”
Kieran Hendry is a natural born leader. Strong, dominate and confident. He is also sexy and possessive. Westlyn Breckenridge has been sheltered all of her life. She is the daughter of the second in command of The Fellowship. Westlyn too has been raised to accept her fate as a future wife to be claimed. However, she is hoping to someday escape the traditions and expectations that surround her and marry for love. Westlyn is sassy, loyal and strong. Since she is not in direct line for succession, she is hopeful that she will not have to be claimed. But fate has other plans……
“This woman. She’s the light to my dark. The angel to my devil. The quiet to my storm. The key to my prison.”
I could not put this book down! I read it in almost one sitting. It was amazing! It has a great balance of tradition, brotherhood, angst, suspense, and scorching hot sexy times! The characters are developed. The chemistry between Kieran & Westlyn is off the charts! I also liked how they came to understand one another and get to know each other under their unusual circumstances.
I loved seeing peeks of the characters that we loved in The Sin Trilogy. The story flows from page to page! Their trials, their fears, their loves – all played out in front of us.
I am also excited for what I think is the set up for Mitch & Shaw’s story next.
“We aren’t normal people. They don’t write romance novels about our way of life because there’s nothing romantic about them….”
5 stars!
I never thought this series could get any hotter but Georgia Cates just proved me wrong with Unintended. When I started reading this book I wasn’t so sure I would like Kieran after reading in Endurance how he took Westlyn and Ellison, but I was proven wrong. I love Kieran and how strong he is. He isn’t a man to back down and once he sees Westlyn he knows what he wants, whether she agrees or not. He is a total alpha male who occasionally wears a kilt (insert swoon here). Westlyn doesn’t know what to think when she is abducted and informed she is going to be her captors wife. Being the dutiful woman that she is she must weigh what her heart wants against what her loyalty to the fellowship needs her to do. The Order is the Fellowships sworn enemy but the marriage of Kieran and Westlyn can start to bring peace, but will Westlyn give in to Kieran? Enemies appear ready to destroy everything. This is a must read book, but be warned your kindle might combust from the heat of this story.
An unconventional meeting turns into an unintended love. “Mo Chroi”
The Sin Saga gets better with the spin off with Westlyn and Kieran’s story in Unintended by Georgia Cates. Remarkable and addicting addition to the Sin Trilogy. Ms. Cates has delivered another scorcher love story of when enemies must come together for the greater good.
Georgia Cates does not disappoint! EVER! Her stories are flawless, intriguing and powerful. Capturing you from the first word until the last.
After being dismissed by all men of The Fellowship thanks to her father, Abram, no man will ever look or touch Westlyn. She still holds pure until Keiran Hendry, the next leader for The Order, grabs her for a truce treaty. Will he sway her to save The Order and The Fellowship, in which to be a claimed woman for the greater good? Or will Kieran’s possessive, dominant nature unravel her ten fold and ignite fury? Will The Order brotherhood welcome her gracefully into the family or will it cause unnecessary drama?
Not as dark as the other books of the series, lighter, but still full of romance and swoon-worthy moments from Kieran that will get your heart pumping for sure. Explosive chemistry once Kieran unravels Westlyn’s true bravery and the way he unravels her is heartwarming for the assassin that he is. He is one possessive, alpha male that once his sites are on his woman there is no turning back. Who knew a marksman could have a soft spot for the woman he becomes infatuated with! Westlyn has a heart of gold and even though she is in a sticky situation she sees the good in Keiran, starts to feel the love that she has been missing all her life.
“I’ll never hesitate to kill for you.”
Unintended is told at the same time of Endurance. There are some overlapping scenarios, which I am grateful for as within Endurance I wondered what truly happened to Westlyn behind closed doors. All the secondary characters make an appearance, making it a show stopping addition. Little secrets are unraveled about other Fellowship romances that had me interested to say the least.
I am a huge fan of the Sin Trilogy and I don’t want to see this series end. I am hoping that Lorna and Leith’s story is next in the line up, however, I want to know what happens to Shaw and Mitch. Both tales will be doozies, full of banter and brawls that I am predicting!
5 Sin Stars
I love Georgia Cates books! Hard to put down.
4.25 stars– UNINTENDED is the fifth installment in Georgia Cates’ contemporary, adult THE SIN TRILOGY erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Scottish Mafia known as the Syndicate. This is The Order’s assassin and heir Kieran Hendry, and The Fellowship’s Westlyn Breckenridge’s story line. UNINTENDED is a standalone story line in Georgia Cate’s THE SIN TRILOGY SERIES but I recommend reading the original trilogy and series in order for backstory, cohesion, and an understanding of the world of The Fellowship and The Order. Some of the timeline in Unintended crosses over and runs parallel with events in book four-Endurance.
SOME BACKGROUND: The Syndicate is the Scottish Mafia comprised of two ruling families – The Order and The Fellowship. The men are in control; the marriages are arranged; the women and wives are brutally claimed; the men are baptized into the Mafia through a test of endurance that will either make or break the prospective members. The Sin Trilogy series looks at the current generation of the Scottish mob, the struggle to adhere to the older ways, and the building and sometimes forbidden love between two people forced into an unknown marriage of convenience.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Westlyn and Kieran) UNINTENDED follows the building romance between The Order’s assassin and heir Kieran Hendry, and The Fellowship’s Westlyn Breckenridge. Kidnapped (along with her brother Jamie’s girlfriend Ellison) and threatened by Kieran Hendry, Westlyn must come to terms with the possibility that the cruel and potentially abusive male will stake his claim leaving her without the possibility of a future or a choice. What ensues is the growing love between Kieran and Westlyn, and the potential fall out when sins of the past come looking for revenge.
Westlyn wants nothing to do with Kieran Hendry-a man who is all but willing to destroy our heroine, taking her innocence and threatening her life within minutes of meeting his potential bride. Kieran struggles between honor and duty; and claiming Westlyn Breckenridge, the mouthy and combative Fellowship female, is seen more of a duty than an honor bound between warring families.
The relationship between Westlyn and Kieran is one of immediate attraction but Kieran’s threats of physical violence push all of our heroine’s buttons including the possibility of sacrificing herself to protect the people whom she loves. Kieran is an over protective, sexy alpha male; Westlyn is an innocent who has prepared for life within The Fellowship knowing that at anytime she could be claimed by someone on the other side. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and intense. When it comes to his future mate Kieran is passionate, protective and affectionate- a complete turn around within hours of kidnapping his prospective bride.
All of the previous story line couples and characters play secondary and supporting roles including Sin and Bleu (The Sin Trilogy 1-3), Ellison and Jamie (Endurance 4), several members of both the The Order and The Fellowship. Mitch Breckenridge will claim Kieran’s younger sister Shaw-a relationship that will further cement the peace treaty but a relationship and romance we know nothing about. We are introduced to Kieran’s parents Lennox and Arabella, as well as his brothers Maddock, Calder and Carson. Lorna Frazier and Leith’s relationship continues to crumble with the author hinting at potential story for theses secondary characters. I am hoping the author has plans for Mitch and Shaw’s story-their relationship and claiming is but a blip on the radar.
UNINTENDED is a story of family, honor, duty and love. A passionate tale about two people pushed together by circumstance and obligation who fall in love through passion and acceptance. The premise is sexy and edgy; the characters are sassy, dynamic and lively; the romance is heartwarming, encouraging and seductive. UNINTENDED is a dramatic and powerful look at commitment to family, prestige, obligation and respect.
