more
This final book is a wonderful conclusion to this series and leaves you wanting more. I would love to see more set in this world with look backs with this group. You will laugh and cry with these characters as they finally figure out what happened in the past and come to some peace with the situation.

Once again Laura Greenwood has lived up to expectations in writing a brilliant conclusion to this fabulous trilogy about Leona and her mates, Cas, Levon and Kerry.
Leona has become a mother at last, she keeps finding gifts all over her home, thinking they are all from her mates. She is trying to lose her baby tummy and while out jogging, she gets a feeling that someone is following her. Her mates are unable to find anything. Finally her mates find out about the gifts and become worried because they are not from them.
Levon is going to the academy to work on their database and they all want Levon to take Leona and Hannah their baby with him so he can protect her. April who is a platypus shifter but also a vet, goes along with them. It is here where the threat lies. The headmaster is the uncle of Levon, he has kidnapped Hannah and April with some witchy help. Cas and Kerry along with April’s mates track Hannah and April out into the forest. Leona is lured into a magic field where her mates can’t penetrate and Leona learns the true story of her mother and how she was a murderer along with Mar, Levon’s uncle. A battle is fought and Leona is seriously injured.
Leona recovers from her injuries and they all are there to be with her and show her the love she has come to expect from her mates.

A too-soft ending
This final book in the Valentine Pride trilogy was a little bit of a let-down, especially after the “wow” of the second book in the series. I’m not quite sure what it was, but it felt like it was not as “solid” as the second book.
Yes, there was big drama in the book, that needed to be resolved – who was truly behind the Pride murders and the murder of Leola’s parents? I was expecting it to be more dramatic, but it felt a bit too rushed and somewhat disconnected.
I’ve enjoyed the series as a whole. Seeing Leola as a mother and a mate was great. The sex scenes weren’t as good as in the previous two books, though, but the interaction between the main characters was still good enough, as well as the introduction of April from the other short story in this series. Yet overall it was definitely lacking somewhere. Maybe I’ve read too many of these books of late, but whatever the reason, it was still a somewhat disappointing end to the series.
Final rating: – Sort of liked/OK

******** May Contain Some Spoilers ********
I will try my absolute best to keep spoilers to a minimum or completely out of my review. Sometimes it can be hard to do so.
The conclusion to the Valentine shifter romance. Leola has the baby in this book. Absolutely love babies being born in books. I’m not gonna tell you what she has or what they named the baby. The weird thing that happened at the end of book 2, gets worse in this book. It seems someone is stalking Leola. April and the baby get kidnapped by the stalker. Leola confronts the stalker and learns some seriously awful things about her mother. Leola’s mates can get to her or the baby. Can Leola save April, her baby, & herself from the stalker?
•••••• I highly recommend this book/series! •••••• ~~ I have Kindle Unlimited, and I used that service to read this book. ~~
I like these books but its just sad that they are short or it could be that they are so easy to read i breeze through them quickly? No matter because they are a really good read. I love reading about Leola, her pride of Lions – Kerry, Levon and Cas as well as her slowly extending families exploits in this series. Short but sweet. Full of action both in and out of the bedroom. Well worth reading
I have really enjoyed reading through this book and finishing the series with such an emotional roller-coaster! There was sooo much mystery and suspense featured in the book! So many moments had me glued to my seat as I devoured the story and finally collected all the answers that were missing from the start of the series.
I look forward to reading more stories from this world…I know that this series is done, but maybe the authors are writing more from the world of shifters that feature characters from this world in the new book.

This was an amazing conclusion to the Valentine Pride trilogy! Leola is loving being a mother and settling more into her new life with the pack. Since the trial of the person responsible for her parents death, she has been finding presents and trinkets gifted to her around the house thinking they were from Cas, Kerry, or Levon. When she finally thanks them, she realizes that they weren’t from them and something is terribly wrong. Her mates are determined to protect her and Hannah, but Leola isn’t going to let this threat go unnoticed and will do everything to protect her family no matter the cost. I loved that we got to see April and her wolf mates in this book and little snippets of her training and integrating into the pack. April has such a loving and fierce personality and cares for Hannah like she was her own child. Leola and her mates relationship is still just as great as the first book and even sweeter now with their child. This book was filled with many sweet, steamy, and suspenseful moments and showed a peek of Magic and Metaphysics Academy!

It was quick and steamy and a great story line. Love both the heroine and heros. They a have a great love connection that is never questioned. I hate romance stories that have unnecessary angst in there relationship. There is a stalker and I loved the ending. This will go on my ‘ read again’ list.

I loved this series. It had me enthralled and has to ward the book in one sitting. If you want steamy romance with a little mystery then you need to read this series.
Leola and her mates encounter another mystery and it was crazy. I sure didn’t see it coming but we finally find the guy who killed her parents. He is a sneaky little prick since he tried to lure her by doing something stupid. All I will say is moms aren’t called supermom for a reason. The bad guy gets what was due to him. Leola also learned something about herself that even I forgot about. She made her mates proud. So you will need to read this book to see what happens. You will be shocked. However, this one seemed to build really slow but was worth it.
