Read a ton of books by laura and love them all. This is a co written one with l.a. boruff and i read multiple of her books too. I love the story here and how it progresses. At some points they do mention life points too short so that is why 4 stars cause i think it could of been a bit better but none the less entertaining and good. Recommend read books in order.
I totally adore Leola and really hope that I will see more of her in the future even if it is just a side character, just as April and her mates from The Platypus and her mates are a side character in this book. While I am upset to see the end of this series I must say this was a great conclusion to the Valentine Pride trilogy. This book had the perfect blend of mystery and intrigue to keep you engrossed till the end of the book.

Great conclusion to the series.I’ve enjoyed the series as a whole.
Seeing Leola as a mother and a mate was great, interaction between the main characters was beautiful.
In overall it was definitely good to find out the answer to the many questions from first two books.

This part of the story was a total surprise. Someone’s stalking Leola and it’s been happening for a while. When it is discovered the guys (Cas, Kerry and Levon) make arrangements for Leola and their baby, Hannah, to stay at the Academy for safety. However, it’s not as safe as they thought. Leola’s stalker has a history with her other and nothing was as she thought. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Unicorn Truth by Laura Greenwood/L. A. Boruff is the third book in the Valentine Pride Series. In this book Leola a unicorn shifter is just recovering after giving birth to her daughter Hannah. As she goes about her days caring for her daughter Hannah and her three mountain lion shifter mates: Cas, Kerry, and Levon she keeps finding unexpected gifts. Leola is surprised by the mysterious gifts but forgets to ask her mates about them. Once they find out about the gifts they spring into action. This book solves a lot of mysteries about Leola’s past and has a very suspenseful buildup until the very end. This is one unusual paranormal story that I definitely loved reading. Unicorn Truth is a tale of romance, suspense, and mystery.
Talk about a surprise ending. I was never expecting what I just read. It is an epic ending to a fantastic story. Our characters have gotten to know each other more and we get to see that throughout the story. It of course is extremely well written with our beautifully developed characters. The flow of the story is superb. Yes, it is a quick read but it is extremely good. You can’t put it down until you reach the end. It has action, with some drama, some sexy scenes that that spicy element. The mystery in the story though is mind blowing. It is most definitely worth reading and will not disappoint.

Unicorn Truth is book three and the final book in the Valentine Pride trilogy. I definitely recommend you read the first two books before this one otherwise you are going to be lost. In this book Leola and her lion mates deal with a stalker who turns out to be more dangerous than they thought. This is a quick novella with so much packed into the story, unexpected twists and well developed characters.
Unicorn Truth by Laura Greenwood is an amazing story to read. This is book number three in this amazing series that I have loved reading since book number one. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about shifters, fantasy and paranormal romances in their stories.

This is the third book in the “Valentine Pride” series and I would recommend reading them in order to have the full experience intended by the author. And don’t forget to include “The Platypus and Her Wolves” since those characters come into play as well. There was a great deal of mystery going on. Leola has given birth to their daughter but now she’s receiving random gifts everywhere. When she finally comes around to thanking her mates they’re actually really confused and have no idea what she’s talking about. Follow Laura Greenwood and L. A. Boruff as they weave this delightful story and leave you with a sigh.
This was a good finish to the series!
Sexy, thrilling and magicall! Leola is a harass for a unicorn and motherhood suits her and her men!
An enjoyable short read!

The third and final book in this series left me somewhat disappointed. Much of it seemed rushed and why does no one ever have time to talk to each other? Where were the clues regarding the presents? The final reveal of Leola’s gift also left me wondering what it was. I’m giving this three stars as it was only part of the story. It would have been two stars as a standalone.

Things have been good for Leola and her three mountain lion mates Kerry, Cas, and Levon. Having recently given birth to baby Hannah, Leola was trying to get back in shape running through the forest. So far, it wasn’t so easy getting in shape. On the way back, a shiver went down her spine, as if someone was watching her. She started to run again and, almost in sight of home, tripped over a root and caught her balance on a tree trunk. The prickles on her skin told her she was still be watched. She made it inside and locked the door as Kerry’s new apprentice, April, a platypus shifter, told her she just put Hannah down for a nap. As Leola finished showering and grabbed a towel, another tiny wrapped present fell to the floor. The guys had been hiding them every so often for her to find. She needed to remember to thank them!
When the men came home with pizza for dinner, they handed her a present. It was the latest model of her old camera which would help her with her blog photos. She said she liked this the best of all the presents they had given – and didn’t notice the confusion on their faces. But the baby cried out with gas pains and everyone was distracted while the guys took care of her and Leola checked out the new features of her camera.
When Levon had to go to the Academy, which was near a beach, Leola indicated she would love the vacation! When she went to get a blanket for Hannah’s cold legs, she found another gift and brought it back with her. Levon asked about it and they realized it was someone else leaving gifts in areas no stranger should have access to! He called Cas and Kerry to come home. He found one final gift – a locket with Leola’s parents’ pictures inside! Who was doing this? Was it the person who had been watching her? What did it mean? Was she and her family in danger? Did it have something to do with her parents’ death, despite the fact they thought they had the murderer locked up?
This is the third and final book in this series and many questions are answered. Leola’s mates adore her and their family is amazing in the love they have for each other. But something serious is going on, and the danger is closing in. Will they figure it out in time? Or will it be too late?
This is a continuation of the previous books so you have to had read the previous ones. Leola now has to figure out who is threatening her and her mates. They have a cub of their own now and the relationship they have is amazing. It’s steamy but there’s also suspense and twists and turns you don’t see coming.

Unicorn Truth starts out with a bit of a time jump from where the second book left off and has the most plot line of all the books probably. Lots of new characters and some parts that make shake you head at how stupid the main female character is. The true villain of the story is revealed and ends up much closer to the characters than you think. I couldn’t predict who the villain would end up being which isn’t something that happens often, but overall I found the story average and a bit on the short side. The writing was good , but I didn’t feel connected to the story or so drawn in that I forgot I was actually reading which is what makes me fall in love with a book. It’s a cute short read for when you have some extra time for sure.
