CristinaMonsters don’t hide in the dark. When I met Damian Di Santo in a dark corridor of my family home I knew he was a monster. I was a scared girl.He was already a man. That was when his twisted countdown began.Marked by dead roses and sharp thorns, eight years passed each bringing me closer to becoming his. Until the eve of my eighteenth birthday. That was the night he returned to claim me. … eighteenth birthday.
That was the night he returned to claim me.
Damian
Circumstance put Cristina on my path.
Fate bound her to me.
Cristina and I share a common past. A single night that changed the course of our lives.
She asked me if I was a monster the night I met her.
I am.
She’s about to learn I’m her monster.
Because the countdown that began eight years ago has ended. Her time is up.
On the stroke of midnight, she’s mine.

After Unholy,The Beginning,i knew this was going to be a story i needed.
Seriously. Like my next breath.
Because it’s so delicious,so dark……just my kind of story. Natasha had mercy on me,and saved me by very generously gifting me the paperback ARC of Unholy Union.
A gift i am most grateful for.
Because it showed me it is exactly what i was hoping for,and more,so much more!
The time has come. Christina’s 18th birthday is here and Damian has come to collect what is his.
The man that confirmed all those years ago monsters don’t live in the dark.
Trying to run is useless, she finds that out the hard way.
And when she regains consciousness, she finds herself in the last place she wants to be,his house.
And even though he’s a monster,he warns her there are men even worse than him.
Living in that same house. Monsters that hate her far more than she hates him.
That are determined she’ll pay for the consequences of the car accident she was in when she was 9…..
Damian also explains what her uncle should’ve told her in the years she lived with him and his children,Liam and Simona.
Why her father is dead, and what is due because of him.
Showing glimpses of what the accident meant for him, besides the scars showing on his skin.
She tries to stay strong, tries to resist the feelings he evokes when he touches her.
But it soon becomes clear she won’t be able to resist the man she hates much longer…..and will give him freely what he demands of her.
In the meantime, one of the monsters he warned her about shows her why she should be afraid.
And another one is still out there……
Is Damian really the monster that she should fear most?
Or is he the one that could stand between her and those others that mean to break her? And worse….?
She ís still in one piece,he hás done her no real harm, but how long will it last?
Is there ány hope for her to come out of this alive?
Can Damian be HER monster,HER saviour?
Or will he turn out to be THE monster after all…..
Knowing what i know now, with all that is yet to come, the real question is….
Can i survive the suspense that is already trying to kill me?
Can i make it until september, until Unholy Intent, the final part of this delicious dark duet?
Eight years ago Cristina was bonded to me by one devastating crash. Now the Valentina’s owe the Di Santo their lives because of the mistake her father made that day. Exactly one year later the Di Santo family comes to collect their debt. However, Joseph Valentina makes a sacrifice to give Cristina his only living daughter eight more years “Are you a monster”. Now Cristina Valentina belongs to Damien Di Santo and she will learn I am her monster.
Unholy Union is dark, terrifying and delicious! Natasha Knight wrote a truly creepy, chilling, spine-tingling story that swept me away to a realm of secrets, murder, and captivity.
Cristina was just a young girl who had suffered unbearable losses and was trying to find her way. At eighteen, she knows a few things: she’s alone in the world aside from her uncle and her cousins; she’s enjoying her first year of college; and she’ll be receiving a box with eight dead roses for her birthday.
It’s been eight years since the night that changed her life. Eight years of being alone, of dealing with her loss, of mourning the memories of those she loved. Her life isn’t great, but she never could have expected how much worse it could get. How could she even imagine that the accident that changed her life would continue to change it years later?
Cristina isn’t the only one who’s had to deal with the fallout of that accident. Damian’s family, or what’s left of it, has been left in pieces and he was the only one who stuck around to build their empire back up to their former glory. Damian became a man to be feared. He’s got soldiers at his disposal, but he loves to get his hands dirty. And when the time comes for him to claim Cristina, to set in motion the revenge his father is looking for, he doesn’t hesitate.
I lived for every interaction between Cristina and Damian. Her with her immature reactions, unreasonable stubbornness, and unrealistic expectations. Him with his calm under pressure, his dominance, and utter sex appeal. A huge part of me was hoping the author would push this story a little harder. I wanted Cristina to get hurt. I wanted for one of the times she stupidly ran her mouth, thinking she could get one over on Damian, that he’d really show her who’s boss. But alas, it wasn’t meant to be. But Damian did find ways to put her in her place and it was insanely fun to witness. I know, I know, it shouldn’t be fun, but the author did an incredible job of making it quite enjoyable for me. From the banter to the hot tension to the glimpses of heart I got from this dark hero, I was delighted and I’m on edge waiting for the next part of this duet.
This is the first book in a duet and I enjoyed it immensely.
I was definitely left wanting more and can’t wait to read the conclusion of this gripping story which I believe is out in September so not long to wait.
This is mafia romance and focuses on Cristina Valentina and Damian Di Santo.
Christina’s brother and mother were killed in an accident when she was a child, her father a year later supposedly taking his own life.
She has since been raised by her uncle that is until the onset of her eighteenth birthday when she learns her whole life up until now has been a lie and she now belongs to Damien in atonement for her father’s sins.
Cristina though innocent and ignorant of any wrongdoing herself is now collateral damage and at the mercy of Damien and his criminal family.
Damien himself struggles internally with his emotions regarding the young Cristina.
His need to protect constantly warring with his original intentions to make her pay in blood for her family’s mistakes, mistakes that have cost him dearly.
Damien most definitely isn’t a good man that much was obvious and there are things he regrets deeply, but I do still think that there is some light to be had, shady as it is and Cristina is potentially the only beacon holding him back from that steep edge.
Though I do think she herself is ignorant of this and Damien has managed to keep this well hidden from her.
I think he is afraid that he’s turning into his father whom he hates but I do think that Cristina is the key to stop that metamorphosis.
Cristina, I liked she was just the right blend of defiant without being overly reckless.
She stands up for herself but also seemed to recognize deep down that there are worse enemies than Damien and at least physically he hasn’t hurt her.
She may speak her mind and act out with him but when the chips are down she knows when to zip it tight.
Considering her young age here I was impressed with her resilience and ability to deal with Damien.
I also felt super sad that she had been essentially thrown to the wolves.
So this went where I thought it would in regards to Damiens’s intentions and I’m excited to see where this will go next.
This one gets a big thumbs up from me I enjoyed it a lot.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of Unholy Union (Unholy Union #1).

I hope you’ve read UNHOLY THE BEGINNING before you dive into Unholy Union!! I think it may still be free but I’m not sure.
Unholy Union was intense read! An undeniable page-turner that will keep you glued to your e-reader.
This is a dark, twisted & passionate book! The push & pull between Cristina & Damian is fiery & beyond sizzling, even if they fight it. This is one of those books that you CANNOT read fast enough!
We get a deeper look at the background of these very different families, & their business dealings. The build up to the heat between the leads is totally worth the wait.
Cristina has such passion & fire that she keeps hidden sometimes. But with Damian, she bits back & let’s it all out. Damian is the monster in all this but is he? He’s hiding not only from Cristina but his family. That’s just my opinion though, I may be wrong & he does turn out to be as evil as he seems.
Natasha definitely knows how to keep us on the edge of our seats or beds lol. There is obviously a cliffhanger, so you know there are plenty more secrets & twists left unanswered.
I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY CAN’T WAIT for book two! OH & DON’T FORGET about UNHOLY THE BEGINNING!!!
ARC PROVIDED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW
On Cristina Valentina’s 18th birthday, her life as she knows it will change forever. A debt for her father’s crime is what’s owed and she is the prize for Damian Di Santo. The name Di Santo causes fear all around but Cristina can’t let him see it in her. He wants revenge and Cristina wants answers. Her life was a lie…but can she make it right? Can these enemies ever become more? They both have tragic pasts that intertwine and both are stubborn to the core. What an outstanding enemies to lovers dark romance! Damian is what we all want in a dark, mysterious lead! This story drags you in from the very first page and doesn’t let go! I loved every second of this gritty romance but it does end a cliffhanger so get ready! Told in dual POV
Wow! So Good!
Pages and Pages of intense drama! I could not put this down. I want to find a way to make Damian into a hero but just when I think he’s going to be sweet..Mr ruthless comes out. Poor Christina..I need the next book now. I know she’ll tame this monster and save herself from the DiSanto family.
This is book One of a two book series (along with a prologue) and it’s great to read another Natasha Knight book I positively love her work, and this one was a doozy with a cliff hanger. 8 years ago, Cristina Valentina witnesses her father’s death by men she did not know, but a man steered her away from the room. 8 years later, Damian is back to collect on the contract her father signed. She’s now his, and she’s about to find out that there are worse monster than him in the DiSanto family. I honestly can’t wait for book 2!
Unholy Union is the first book in this dark, revenge themed, force-marriage, enemies-to-lovers romance. So, what to say? Still few weeks after I’ve read this book, I still couldn’t wrap my head with the way I feel about it. There were a lot of mixed emotions. I’m thrilled, intrigued, and seduced by the mystery of Damian. I’m also pissed and disappointed for Cristina’s behalf in just about anything related to her family that made her powerless. There were some secrets revealed that changed the dynamic between Damian and Cristina, something to look forward to in the final book of this duet. The ending, in my opinion, is a complete game changer and I can’t wait to read what happens next!
Cristina Valentina was 10 years old the night her father died and she first met Damian DiSanto. Now 8 years later he has come back for what now belongs to him – her.
Damian knows that Cristina is a piece of the puzzle that entwines their lives but he has slowly rebuilt his family’s empire and is now ready to rule it all.
But will Cristina do what she is supposed to do or will she fight him on everything and will she realize that Damian is not the one she needs to be fearful of?
This was such a great beginning filled with lots of intrigue over past events that brought the two families together yet there is still so much missing!
Cristina is an innocent victim in events that she had no control over but that drastically altered her life. She lost so much that night and then to discover the deal her dad had made before he died was absolutely heartbreaking. I hated that she was such a pawn but I loved her spirit and defiance.
Damian was a very interesting character as it was obvious how dark and powerful he was yet he still never measured up to what his father wanted and he was second place to his older by minutes twin brother Lucas who had disappeared. Damian hated his father and yet he rebuilt the families company and did what was expected of him. It was obvious that he did care about Cristina but had to be careful as he didn’t want that weakness exploited.
I really liked learning about the two families and how much Cristina had to learn about things that had happened that she knew nothing about. Cristina was hated by many people that she wasn’t even aware of because of her family’s foundation.
The end was definitely jaw-dropping and I am eager to discover what happens next!!
“Hate can do that to a person, I think. Become the poison inside your veins that fuels your heart to keep beating long after it should have stopped.”
Ms Knight does it again, I love reading her books. They have you on the edge of your seat wanting answers, but the twists keep on coming. There is nothing scary about the dark, it’s what’s hiding in the dark that you should be fearful of. Monsters who hide in men’s bodies, ruthless businessmen that lack morals. An eye for an eye, keeps the Di Santo family patiently waiting for their revenge. Cristina Valentina pays the highest price, as the men in her family are weak. Damien Di Santo takes what has been promised to him and locks her away in a mansion full of monsters. Cristina has claws, curiosity kills the cat, but they have nine lives too. She is beautiful, strong willed, proud, but vulnerable at the same time.
4.5 Stars !Holy Cannoli, what an amazing read!
I was hooked right from the start unable to put my tablet down.
Author Natasha Knight’s mafia romance stories are getting better and better, and with the seal of uniqueness she only can delivered. The story is masterfully crafted, and with plenty of angst, secrets, suspense and plot twists to keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages until the very end!
Damien and Cristina’s journey is intense, intriguing, captivating, dangerous, dark, and twisted. The sexual tension and chemistry between them is sizzling hot, and despite their love/hate relationship their connection is undeniable.
All in all, Unholy is a chilling, unputdownable dark romance that will send shivers up your spine, and leave you wanting more. Can’t wait for the conclusion!!
“…’ . ’ , ’ .”
Natasha Knight delivers a spectacular dark romance with Unholy Union, book one of the Unholy Union duet! I stayed up late into the night to read this one in one fell swoop and now I’m absolutely dying to get my hands on the conclusion to the duet asap!!
. . ’ .
. . . ’ , . ’ .
Unholy Union is everything! A murder. An arranged marriage. An addictive story. Natasha Knight delivers a dual POV dark, enemies-to-lovers romance that’s a fast pasted yet deliciously slow to burn. The tension between Damian and Christina is delicious and just when you think you have everything figured out, Natasha delivers twists and turns that will leave you reeling. I loved ever single thing about this story… the age gap between Damian and Christina is deliciously sexy, the exquisite darkness of his personality balances perfectly with the lightness of hers, the unpredictability of the storyline and so much more. Reading blogger copies of Natasha Knight’s romances are always a pleasure but this one sucked me in so completely that I’m literally dying to read Unholy Intent with almost singular focus. New to Natasha’s work? Make sure you grab this one now!! Be ready to read Unholy Intent when it releases and discover why Natasha Knight’s a dark, mafia romance staple!!!
“ , ‘ . . , . .”
Unholy Union is Natasha Knights’ latest story and I have to say it is one of my favorites. Although it brought a few surprises forward. Unholy Union is a dark read with monsters hiding in every corner but the question is do you know who the real monster is?
Cristina is innocent in all of this. And you really feel for her. There is nothing about Cristina you won’t like. She is sweet and doesn’t understand why her life is being turned upside down on the whim of a man like Damian.
Damian and his family are pure evil. But Damian truly believes he is the lesser of his family and that he must continue to follow in the footsteps set for him so that things will not be so bad for Cristina. But what happens to these two when things are taken out of both of their hands? Will they be able to handle the consequences of their choices?
I can not wait for the next book Unholy Intent!
Unholy Union is the first book in the Unholy Union Duet by Natasha Knight. The book starts with the prologue to the story, The Beginning. In The Beginning, Cristina is eight years old. She first meets Damian when she wakes in the middle of the night to find strangers talking to her father. Damian intercepts her and returns her to her room. In the morning she discovers that her father is dead, an apparent suicide.
Afterwards she is placed in her Uncle’s care. Every year she gets a mysterious gift, when she turns 18 she’s anxiously waiting for it only to discover her time is up, that she is now the property of Damian Di Santo, the man she met as a child, as payment for her late father’s debt. This is an excellent Antihero romance, and I can’t wait until Unholy Intent (The second book in the duet,) releases in a few weeks.

This is very intense (slow burn) story about a predator and his prey.
Cristina lost everything when she had 8 years old. Unfortunately for her, her daddy’s sins put a target on her back. Damien also lost family, but he’s the devil who doesn’t wants to lose anything, so when Cristina turns 18, he’s back to collect what he thinks it’s his.
The pace, the angst, the suspense and all the evolution of the story and their intense connection, put me in the edge with this story and I cannot wait to see what’s next for this two.
I’m hoping for a closure as good as the start.

This book was so good, because it was so dark!! This book will have your head spinning with the journey you take while reading.
Damian and Cristina have a past. However, when Damian comes back for her, her life changes forever. Damian is dark, and dirty but is that all he is? Cristina is young and has been pushed into a life that is hard to handle. Even with all of this she is feisty.
The twists and turns in this story had me guessing throughout the whole thing. I can’t wait for book 2.
This is Natasha knight at her best. I swear she never stop to amaze me, and when it comes to a truly twisted dark romance that’s when her geniality and talent start to shine.
Back to this one, this story is dangerously addictive. It’s an intense enemies to lovers. The plot may be a classic one, but an author as Natasha always finds a way to make it original, real, captivating. And that’s what she did. Now add the high quality at the characters.
Damian. God you’ll hate to love him, because he is one of the best and most authentic anti hero I have ever read about.
And he will get you, just snapping his fingers. And you even won’t be aware when that happens. It may be his dangerous, dark vibe, or his confidence, his demanding. Wait he never demand, he takes what he wants.
Cristina? I loved her. I love her because when everyone thinks she’s vulnerable, she prove all her strength. I loved her because of her atitude, I loved her because she always fights, she never give up. I loved her with him.
Now I can’t spoil it, but you’ll crave book 2 like your next breath.
Unholy Union is sooo good. The dramatic tension is insane the whole way through the book. There’s so much mystery. You have no idea where things are going or if you really know what’s going on but you can’t stop reading. Damien is such a crazy alpha antihero. You want to hate him but can’t. Plus there are way worse monsters around. Cristina is trapped in a situation she didn’t create but she’s working to control it. She’s smart, feisty, and unwilling to give up. I loved this book but the cliffhanger ending had me nearly screaming with frustration. Things were just about to be revealed more clearly. I can’t wait for Unholy Intent.
Triggers: violence, emotional manipulation/abuse, threat of rape
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
Ummmm where do I even begin to review this book without giving anything juicy away. I was utterly entranced from the very first page to the last. I love reading a dark read that has a few twist and turns in it that will keep you captivated. As this is a duet this book really only scrapes the surface of things to come.
Damien and Christina share an event that has left them both scarred. Some of the scars are the same and so many of them are different. Christina is a naive young lady whose life gets flipped turned upside down the night if her 18th birthday. Damien is a ruthless business man who is set on seeking revenge. If you are looking for your next dark and delicious prince look no further, Damien is a devil in disguise and I know we just barely get a glimpse of the real him in this book.
I’m looking forward to the next book, because this ending left me craving for more.
