Until the eve of my eighteenth birthday. That was the night he returned to claim me. … eighteenth birthday.
That was the night he returned to claim me.
Damian
Circumstance put Cristina on my path.
Fate bound her to me.
Cristina and I share a common past. A single night that changed the course of our lives.
She asked me if I was a monster the night I met her.
I am.
She’s about to learn I’m her monster.
Because the countdown that began eight years ago has ended. Her time is up.
On the stroke of midnight, she’s mine.

What an incredible story of betrayal that will make your head spin with the journey this book takes you on! Damian and Cristina met when she was younger and she knew then that he wasn’t to be trusted. Many years later, he comes for her and her life is forever changed.
Damian may not be all that he is perceived to be, and I really liked his character. He is dark, dirty and delicious. Cristina is a young woman thrust into a life she’s not sure how to handle. I really love her character because while young, she is feisty and spirited. There are definite sparks between them when they look at each other or touch each other, yet they both fight it.
There are many twists and turns in this story that will keep you guessing throughout. I also felt many emotions while reading this and I didn’t want it to end. Oh, and the ending??? Utterly mind blowing! Now I can’t wait for the next book to find out what happens!! If you love dark reads, then this one is definitely for you!
Unholy Union is part one of a duet, a true page turner; I couldn’t put it down from start to finish. I have to say, as I write this, that I’m actually a little anxious, kind of stressed, because that’s been the feel of this book, so excellently written. Unease is an adequate description. Wow, a lot of the characters in this book are monsters, plain and simple. And my unease is for our heroine, an innocent caught up in a truly vicious game of vindication and revenge. This entire game is completely unfair to her, by any standard of measure.
Damian and Cristina are the two main characters and I’m torn at the moment as to how I feel about Damian. Will he actually go through with this horrible monstrosity of a plan? Cristina is helpless against it. No one can or will help her. It appears her fate is set. My heart breaks for her. I can feel her fright, her confusion, her absolute desolation, and her aloneness.
This is another excellent story by Natasha Knight. This book is so well written that it actually evoked anxiety within me. I couldn’t seem to keep the idea in mind that this is just a piece of fiction. It felt so real. I was drawn in and held captive. Even as I write this, I feel the stress of the situation. I feel her helplessness, it’s palpable. But now I have to wait for the conclusion and trust me, that isn’t going to be an easy task.
If you are a fan of dark romance, don’t miss this book. Highly recommended
Cristina and Damian were linked by an event neither of them had any control over and both still wear the scars from. It doesn’t matter, because they are the two that need to play out the conclusion, whether they want to or not. While they both feel they can hang on to some control, neither can control the attraction and reaction to the other and the heat that flares between them. As the story unfolds and the monsters become real, a fragile trust begins to grow between them. Is it a case of the devil you know or the start of something more? The characters and the story kept me guessing and engrossed, and this was a one-sitting read, and I can’t wait for the conclusion!
I just love this author. I’ve only read a few of her books but the ones I have read have all been fantastic.
My favorite trope is in this book. I can never get enough of it, but most of the time I have to read historical romance to get anything of it. Once in awhile though a dark romance book comes along and nails it pretty good. This book does a great job of showing everything I love about this trope. Especially the part Damien plays in the parts I love.
I loved how Damien had so much going on with in himself that you know we have only skimmed the surface of who he is. I’m so intrigued and I can’t wait for the next book.
Natasha is phenomenal, and books like this, they make me wonder why I haven’t binge read her back list yet. I really do need to get on that!
Hello dark, dangerous and delicious!! What a story! Holy cow! This book is woven so perfectly with threads of darkness, possessiveness, and power. Dark and divine. Man this book was everything. I cannot wait for the conclusion.
