Monsters don’t often look like monsters on the outside. Forced to marry a man I should hate, I’m now bound to Damian. I sometimes wonder what he sees when he looks at me. Deer in headlights, I guess. What I see is clear.Darkness.Desire.Carnal want.A man with too much experience. The day he took me he told me I belong to him. On our wedding night he proved I did. And I believe him when he says … wedding night he proved I did. And I believe him when he says he’ll keep me safe because he won’t let anyone touch what’s his.
But I can’t forget what he is. Can’t forget the things he’s done.
And no matter what, I can’t let myself fall in love with him.

Monsters most often don’t look like monsters on the outside. You know.
Wow, just a perfect ending to a perfect duet. When I finished school, I had to take a deep breath and understand what I was reading now. God, Natasha, how do you like to play in our heads?
Every episode I eagerly devoured. The twists, the chilling moments that my heart just once held tight.
There is no book that I did not like Natasha’s writing. However, this duet is just a perfect masterpiece.
What can I say about Damian and Christina? Two heroes who did a great job – It is more accurate to say Natasha brought them to me perfectly.
The devastating chemistry between the two, the plot that left me speechless.
As usual, Natasha sows clues and I hope so with Christina’s cousin – Liam. For me, she must write a book about him.
Every word I add will only do an injustice to spoilers so I highly recommend running and reading the duet.
I was so excited to read the conclusion to Damian and Cristina’s story and this book did not disappoint! This was a wild ride that picked up right where left off in the first book. I love a good anti hero and Damian is a great one! I was captivated by Lucas and wasn’t sure who I should trust, Damian or Lucas, or neither?!?!? There is a scene with Cristina in the solarium that was so creepy and scary, it had my heart racing! This series is very dark, very suspenseful and well written. The final showdown had my heart racing again and my heart brown for Damian! I was happy with the ending and that these two damaged souls were finally able to get some peace and a HEA.
4 stars!!
This is the second and last book of the “Unholy Union Duet”. It can not be read as a stand alone. It is the conclusion to Damian and Cristina’s love story.
Holy shit!! This was so good! The twist with Lucas was my favorite part. I am a sucker for bad boys. I still have the hots for Damian and even more so now that the book is over. Cristina finally caught on, so props to her.
The author did a good job of painting a picture for you. I am sad because I felt the dad had a larger part in this but he didn’t show up much throughout the book. But even with out the old creep. We had a villain, we had a hero and a damsel in distress.
This is definitely a duet you want to read!!
**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
Edge of your seat suspense in this fantastic conclusion to the Unholy Union duet. I loved it!
This continues straight on from the cliffhanger at the end of Unholy Union. Lucas, Damian’s twin brother is back, but the big question is why and why now? Is he there to help or harm?
Cristina has been backed into a corner and with no choices left to her as a pawn in the middle of a feud, she is forced to marry Damian to stay safe, but who from exactly? With so much hate, betrayal, lies and hidden truths is there really anyone can Cristina trust? For one so young, she showed a level of strength, determination and maturity way beyond her years. I really liked her, even as she despised herself for her conflicted feelings toward Damian.
Following the first book, I knew Damian was my kind of book guy…good, bad or a lethal hot combination of the two? You never quite know. Dark, dominant, dangerous, intense, possesive but capable of a passionate, deep, loyal love if anyone was brave enough and strong enough to unlock the seemingly cold heart the rest of the world saw. No wonder Cristina craved and loathed him. I totally get it, I didnt want to fall for him either but I couldnt help it. Their chemistry was super steamy too!
This book was action packed, intense, full of intrigue and unexpected revelations. There were twists and turns to this story, such that Natasha Knight made sure we’d never really know until the very end the fates of Cristina and Damian. I was glued to the pages of what has become one of my favourite stories by her.
4.5 unholy stars

The ending of this story is a steamy one! Twists all over the place. Natasha Knight built up a bloody explosive setting in book one, and here it culminates. This is a family reunion you don’t want to miss. Cristina and Damian’s relationship evolved a lot. Our leads had difficulties figuring out who to trust, and so did we as readers. It’s an unpredictable, fast-paced, and even tragic (at times) novel. And lordy lord, can we talk about the covers of this series? They might be my favorite ones of Natasha Knight!

Unholy Intent is the second book of the Unholy Union Duet by Natasha Knight. I am such an addict to her books, she never disappoints. Every book i read by her in better than the previous one, no joke.
I actually read this book in one sitting, but i couldn’t write a review right away. I was happy how everything turned out, but i was also sad. However, what i learned from reading so much of Natasha’s books is that she is full of surprises and God i hope she surprises me again.
This book picks up right where book one ended. A new player has joined the game, but will he be an enemy or an ally? Cristina is once again faced with many questions, who is the real monster in this house? and who can she really trust? They say The devil you know is better than the devil you don’t. Will she be able to trust Damian or will she use the help of another person to reveal the truth?

The chemistry between Cristina and Damian is intense even when she wants to resist him. Damian did not think he would fall in love with Cristina, but now that he loves her he will do his best to protect her even if that means waging war against his family.

This book was so full of passion, action and so much emotion. The conclusion was perfect, and i couldn’t help but sympathize with Lucas. And those breadcrumbs she left at the end about Liam. Don’t know about y’all but i’m so excited about what’s gonna come next.
“Even as I hate myself for it, I cling to him, my enemy. This monster who doesn’t hide his dark. The one in whose bed I’ll sleep. My monster.”
What a hauntingly eerie conclusion to one heck of a duet Picking up right where Unholy Union ended; Damian is confronted by his past, his demons & his uncertainty on how he truly feels for Cristina. Meanwhile, Cristina is struggling to keep up, to navigate through the minefield of lies & half truths and her own uncertain feelings towards Damian. But something sinister is coming and Damian has enemies everywhere… are these two prepared for the fall out?
This was a read full of so many secrets, twists and turns…. your head will be spinning all while you white knuckle your kindle to very last page! SO GOOD!

This book consumed me. I read it in one sitting. Could. Not. Put. It. Down.
This is the conclusion of Damian and Cristina’s story and wow what a read it is. It’s raw, has secrets and full of monsters. This dark demanding book will pull you in and not let go. The whole cast of characters will have your head spinning. Not knowing who is lying or telling the truth. Who can be trusted and who can’t. The author gave her all with this remarkable read and it clearly shows. Absolutely wonderful!
*Review by Michelle
This is the last book in a thrilling duet. The story is dark with a lot of twists and turns, some aggression and a lot of heat. I was excited at every turn and could not wait to turn the pages to find out what would happen next. The author really took this story to another level and added in a lot of grit and mafia violence (but not in a graphic or for the sake of entertainment way) it all had a purpose. If you have read and loved book one then you do not want to miss the conclusion. The story is still with me after a few days!
There’s no words this was mindblowing and so intense and twists that you don’t see coming and will blow your mind. Damien and Cristina are epic characters so beautifully written you feel it all the chemistry , heartache and pain and watch them grow and fall all at the same time.
Damien know as the monster and Cristina growing courage and backbone god I loved her she was so strong. This was just perfection and I will not forget this duet for a long time.
Unholy Intent is the outstanding conclusion to this author’s Unholy Union duet. I thoroughly enjoyed this dark romance as I was completely enraptured by Damian and Cristina’s remarkable journey. The character development throughout this novel was well thought out and the plot was perfectly executed; thus creating an enthralling read with engaging characters and a fast-paced narrative that kept me immersed in the story from beginning to end.
Damian and Cristina are both likable characters that have strengths, but also flaws which makes them seem more real. Damian fully endeared himself to me. Yes, he maintains a commanding and powerful presence, but there is so much more to him. Cristina, while young, is clever enough to wonder about who she can trust in a house laden with dark and sinister “monsters”. She has an inner strength about her which I loved. The chemistry between Damian and Cristina is palpable and the kindle melting scenes left me fanning myself.
Unholy Intent is a novel that will keep you on your toes as there are mind games galore, betrayals at play as well as action and suspense. Unholy Intent is not a standalone as it is book 2, the conclusion of this author’s Unholy Union duet. The duet in its entirely is a phenomenal read and if you have enjoyed this author’s previous works &/or dark romances, then you will definitely want to check out this duet!
Can you trust anyone? Debra @janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
This story takes you deep into the darkness with only a candle as a light. You go willingly but with caution for what is in that darkness. Our characters have a darkness in them that keeps you guessing to motives, who is your friend and who is someone you should never have standing behind you.
Damian is trying to protect Cristina but she has a strong will and is not always sure if she can trust him. He is after all the monster that doesn’t hide.
The darkness and unpredictable actions of the characters keeps you reading till the end and even then you still may have a feeling of did that all just happen. You are not even sure there will be a happily ever after for Damian and Cristina.
So glad this duet came into my reader world.
With how Unholy Union ended, I was not sure how this one was going to play out. What we got was a story that ended with such a bang that I could not put it down. Cristina is such a fighter that she never backs down from Damien or anyone else for that matter. I found her grit beyond amazing. Especially when Damien’s brother reappears and all hell breaks loose essentially. There are so many push and pull moments with epic twists and turns that keep you on your toes. My heart ached for Cristina as she fought her way through all of it. She is so lost at moments and tries to follow her heart even if it will get her burnt eventually. But that connection with Damien, no matter how much they both deny it, is beyond sizzling. They were totally made for each other. Even when things implode and things start to crumble, they both fight for each other.
Overall, this is a brilliant ending to this duet. It flows amazingly, the build of the characters completely on point, and the concept was epic. I could not put it down once I started because I wanted to know more. I needed answers and as things played out, my mind was blown. If you like a darker read, then this duet is completely for you!
Unholy Intent is the action packed edge of your seat conclusion of the Unholy Union duet. This book picks up right where book one left off. Damian and Cristina are locked in a battle of wills and hearts all the while fighting for their survival against formidable enemies. So, I’d like to talk about Lucas. I have to say that I kept hoping for some sort of redemption of his character. He was quite fascinating and his motivation kept me guessing. I would have loved for him to get his story, but… So, on to Damian and Cristina. Did they burn up the sheets in this installment! Damian is so hot I can’t handle it and Cristina is his perfect match! This book was full of twists and turns, suspense and steamy action! The ending was very satisfying and I’m really hoping for Liam’s story next!
4.5 Unholy Intent Stars
The second part to Cristina and Damian’s duet is here and has everything one can expect when reading a dark romanceThis one picks up right at the end of book one and shocks your heart straight back into an unsteady rhythm
So much happens in this one but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, so suffice to say you will have to read it for yourself to find out what happens I received an advanced copy and I willingly leave my honest review and hopefully we get a story somewhere down the track for Liam – Cristina’s cousin as I’d like to know what mischief he’s up too
Unholy Intent is the second book in the Unholy Union Duet. Damien and Cristina’s story picks up right where book one left off and it is just as energy packed and fast moving as the first book. The players are constantly in motion and the enemy lines keep shifting so figuring out who to trust is always in question and always remember that monsters can hide right in plain sight!
The Unholy Union Duet is a dark, steamy romance that you won’t want to miss. Grab your copy and get ready because you won’t want to put these books down!
Unholy Intent is Book #2 in the Unholy Union Duet. You must read Book #1, Unholy Union, in order to understand what is going on in this book. Unholy Intent picks up where Unholy Union leaves off in a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. In Book 1, we meet Cristina Valentina and Damian Di Santo. This is the thrilling conclusion to their story.
I am keeping this review short so that I don’t spoil it for you. Many surprises await you in Book #2. We get answers to many questions but we are still guessing at many things. I didn’t know who was bad, and who was good. There are shocking revelations. It definitely kept my interest with the intrigue and action. I was hanging onto the edge of my seat. Damian and Cristina’s relationship had a lot of push and pull. Their chemistry was hot! There was a lot of angst and heartbreak. Danger lies around every corner. There is no shortage of tragedy, secrets, lies, betrayal, vengeance, heartbreak, and love. It is a dark, edgy, gritty, and raw read. My only issue is that the ending felt a little rushed. After so much tragedy and loss, I needed to see more of the HEA with Damian and Cristina. It does end in a HEA though.
***ARC for an honest, unbiased review.***
Picking up where book one left off, this is a duet and should be read together, in order. We have just met Lucas, Damian’s twin, and there are a load more of secrets that have popped up. Now Cristina is about to be forced to marry Damian and join this horror story he calls a family. Everywhere she turns someone is lying to her, making her realize that she has no clue what is really going on. A promise is given, but she has no clue that Damian has no intention of keeping it… he will never let her go.
So all the build up seemed to have paid off, as book two finishes this duet nicely. Violence, danger, some ok naughty bits. I give this 4 stars.
Can love born from vengeance??
Cristina is forced to marry a man she hate. As days passed, a deep bond grow between them.
But secrets and lies make Cristina questioning everything, and one wrong decision is all it takes to bring their world down.
Damian earned his place at the head of the family.
Marrying Cristina gonna help him to keep his throne, and to protect her.
Soon she became his greatest weakeness: one his enemies gonna use glady against him.
One wrong decision is all it takes to give them the chance to strike.
Can love survive all this ???
Unholy Intent is more than i could have hoped for !!
Every twist and turn kept me on the edge.
The tension almost killed me.
And Damian made me fall in love with him.
Despite the bad decisions and the fact he see himself as the worst monster, from the beginning i loved him for his frailties and his loneliness.
Although being dragged into a game bigger than her, Cristina did a great job after all.
And in the the she trusted her heart….
Their relationship is not easy, but it’s one that’s worth fighting for.
Adrenaline, suspicion, rage, guilty, remorse, lust, fear and love fill each page in a carousel of emotions you gonna love.
The world Natasha Knight created around them is simply amazing, and ireally hoped for Lucas’ redemption
Now i hope to read Liam’ story one day.
This duet is definitely a #mustread for me.
What a beautiful conclusion to a fantastic duet.
I didn’t know what to expect after the last book. Certainly wasn’t most of this. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I devoured it in one sitting.
Keeping this review short and sweet as those who read the first book need to experience the journey first hand.
