Monsters don’t often look like monsters on the outside. Forced to marry a man I should hate, I’m now bound to Damian. I sometimes wonder what he sees when he looks at me. Deer in headlights, I guess. What I see is clear.Darkness.Desire.Carnal want.A man with too much experience. The day he took me he told me I belong to him. On our wedding night he proved I did. And I believe him when he says … wedding night he proved I did. And I believe him when he says he’ll keep me safe because he won’t let anyone touch what’s his.
But I can’t forget what he is. Can’t forget the things he’s done.
And no matter what, I can’t let myself fall in love with him.

I love Natasha Knight because whenever I need a good dark romance she delivers with a cherry on top. This is the second book from the Unholy Union Duet, you need to read the first one. The conclusion to Damien and Christina`s story was everything I wanted from their story, there was so many things to cover and this book had it all, the story was fantastic, couldn’t stop reading, it was addictive and had me on edge the whole time. Definitely a recommendation to read if you love dark romance stories with a punch.
I looooved this conclusion to the duet! I devoured it. It’s action packed, suspenseful, twisty, and it’s HOT. I really enjoyed the character growth and seeing this relationship develop in a raw and real way. Definitely recommend this duet! Be sure to read the prequel novella too!
5 PERFECTION STARS!! You know those perfect duets….well this is that one for me. Damien and Cristina will take you On one side you will not forget in your lifetime. This author definitely knows how to write dark romance…which is my favorite and she does it well….READ THIS DUET.

I was anxiously waiting for Unholy Intent after reading Unholy Union. I literally finished it in one night. It was so captivation. This is the conclusion of Damian and Christina’s story. The story picks up from where it ended and more secrets are unveiled of their dysfunctional family. The story has so many twist and turn and is full of suspense. I dont want to give any spoilers but the story kept me hooked with every turning page. I loved Damian’s character and how he is not what he seemed to be . The journey from when these two meet and until the conclusion , how these two character matured and the changes in them were captured so beautiful . This conclusion was worth the wait . It will keep you guessing and enchanted . A must read
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Christina
In this house of lies and liars, behind every locked door is a monster in wait. Forced to marry a man I hate, I am no bound to Damian. There’s something between us that needs to be played out. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know that he does. But he and I are locked together for some strange, grim purpose. Will we survive it? He may since he’s the one pulling the strings. But will I?
Damian
My brother will tell you that I usurped his throne and maybe I did, but that’s too bad. I built our family up from the ashes I put us back at the top of the food chain. And marrying Christina was as much to cement my place as it was to keep her safe. She doesn’t believe that the last part yet, but I see how she clings to me in the darkness. And the lock on her door is as much to keep the monsters out as it is to keep her in. I told her one lie, though. I made her a promise I’m not sure I ever meant to keep. I told her I’d let her go once I had what I wanted. But in a world of monsters, I need her like man needs air. And I have no intention of letting her go.
This is the second and final book in the Unholy Union Duet. You need to read Unholy Union first or you are going to be lost. If you have read that book you know that Damian has a brother that has left and never came back, but he is back now. These two are twins and his brother being the older on was suppose to be in the place that Damian is now. But since he left Damian picked up the pieces and put his family back together. But now that his brother is back he is not making his intentions clear. It’s a added layer to a story you were already trying to figure out and man does this one keep you one your toes and guessing. I must say I was a little more than shocked at how things turn out. I did not figure it all the way out. But it is so good that you won’t lay it down until you finish. If you love dark romances that keep you guessing and on your toes Natasha Knight is one of the dark romance authors that you never want to miss. I am so addicted to her books. I don’t miss them. This is a great duet to start with if you have never read her. I promise though you will want to read all you can get your hands on once you start.
The explosive conclusion to Damian and Cristina’s story is finally here.
And what a conclusion it is!
Filled with lust and passion.
Mystery and lies.
Unholy Intent had me riveted and gripped from beginning to end.
I always love Ms. Knights heroes.
And Damian is no exception.
Hot sexy broody and a dash of darkness, yes right up my alley!
And Cristina although young and naive still tries to stay strong with all the hatred swirling around her.
The story is fast paced, exciting and had me had the edge of my seat.
Not to mention hot as all hell!
And of course true to Natasha Knight style there are twists and turns that are stunning.
I love the unpredictability factor to her stories.
You may know that her dark heroes will get their girl.
But it’s never that easy.
Which is another reason I love her books!
I highly highly recommend this duet to all fans of the authors and those who love dark reads.
This duet was a thrilling ride from beginning to end. I love Natasha’s writing and I have enjoyed every book I have read from her. This latest duet is a prime example of her ability to weave a story that is both unique and flawless.
Damian was very much one of my favorite parts of these books. From the first book to this one, he was smoking hot. The chemistry between him and Christina was a lot of what made this book hard to put down. The cliff hanger from the first book left me anxious for this book, and when you get your hands on this one – it’s worth the wait!
I implore you to check Natasha out, grab one of her books and prepare to get addicted to her writing. If you haven’t started her yet then this latest duet is a wonderful place to start.
OMG !! Damian and Cristina’s story was amazing !! I was totally captivated by this dark duet . So intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading it. It kept me riveted to every word in anticipation of what would happen next. A dark story you don’t want to miss. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing dark story to read.
This dark romance duet was beyond brilliant!!!! Unholy Intent was an amazingly smart read!!!! I was absolutely engulfed in the book from page one!!! Natasha Knight knows how to hook ya!!!! The Unholy Duet is truly magnificent!!! And DEFINITELY #OneClick worthy!!!
After Unholy Union,i counted down the days until Unholy Intent landed in my library.
Because i wanted,no needed,to know the truth,the whole story…
The real reasons behind Damian’s actions.
Who the real monsters were, and what they wanted to do to Cristina
Finding out she’s going to be forced to marry Damian turns out the least of her problems.
Because not only does his father hate her,he wants to end her as soon as he can.
And then there’s Damian’s twin brother Lucas, who turns up the evening before the marriage.
The mere presence of him makes cold shivers run down Cristina’s back.
Their sister Michela is clearly unhappy being in the same house as their father, but why is she staying?
All three have one thing in common, they all tell her not to trust anyone but them.
But who is telling the truth? Who cán she trust?
The monster she married? The one that keeps telling her he will do anything to keep her safe from harm?
His sister? The one that gives her a glimpse of something that monster has done?
Or his twin brother? The one with the scarred face, that seems to have an even darker side than her monster?
Maybe she can trust her own family….at least Liam is doing his best to help her!
Her uncle,though…..what is his agenda?
He took her in 8 years ago and has cared for her, that’s true.
Everywhere she turns, there’s someone trying to deceive her.
Except one. No,that’s not really true. There’s one more.
One that slowly, but surely is making his way into her heart.
Will Cristina survive this family?
Will she be able to have a future?
With her monster?
Or will she be the last one of her family to pay for something she wasn’t guilty of happening?
From the first page to the last,i was glued to the pages.
I cried, screamed and moaned with Cristina.
I yelled at Damian when he said or did something to hurt her.
But even though i did,i knéw he was the one to keep her safe.
The monster she could trust.
Because,in the end,he did everything he could, because he had a heart.
Dark reads are a guilty pleasure for me, and Natasha Knight knows how to hit the mark when it comes to a good dark read. This was an edge of your seat, dark, intense, haunting read filled with so much betrayal il. It was one of those stories that ended way too soon. Knight is becoming one of my one-click authors. I can’t get enough of her words.
This was such an awesome read.
I loved reading this second half of this duet.
I was hooked from the beginning of book one, and couldn’t put either book down until I had read my fill.
Definitely grab this duet, it is a must read.
This is the 2nd and concluding part of this fantastic duet. This carries straight on from where #1 ended with the appearance of Damion’s twin brother. Damion and Cristina as set to get married in order to protect her and therefore keep her safe as per family rules. Cristina does not know who to trust, and the chemistry between her and Damion is intense. This is a well written story which is intriguing, intense, fast paced, and with twists, suspense, danger, violence, betrayal, secrets, and love. This is a captivating page turner and an all-consuming and riveting tale. I look forward to reading more from this gifted author whose work I highly recommend for all.
Unholy Intent (Unholy Union Duet #2) by Natasha Knight. This story picks up where book 1 left off. Damian’s brother is back and no one knows what his plan is. Damian definitely doesn’t trust him. Cristina doesn’t know who to trust or believe. Damian has told her he would protect her but Lucas has told her things that could be true. She is caught between a rock and a hard place. Damian does care for Cristina but he has a strange way of showing her and she doesn’t believe it is genuine. Damian wants to do better but he is still so rough around the edges. All this constant mistrust has everyone on edge. Damian is trying to hold onto his empire, Lucas says he wants not only the empire but Cristina and Cristina just wants her life back. This story was more than I had expected. Exciting and unexpected. Lucas was crazy and did a lot of damage and Cristina’s naiveté made me want to choke her the life out of her. Poor thing she didn’t know her head from a hole in the ground. Regardless the ending of their story was explosive. I wouldn’t mind another book about Damian and Cristina. 5 stars for me.
Passion & Revenge…the perfect dark romance duet!
The culmination of Damian and Cristina’s story has arrived and it will keep you riveted until the very last page! The steam factor is off-the-charts between these two. The suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat. Their love for one another will seal the deal. Get swept up in this dark romance about revenge, power and getting the chance to take your life back.
Book two will pick up right where book one left us hanging. Damian’s brother is back and he has his own agenda. Befriending Cristina is at the top of his list. Cristina is spinning because she has no idea who she can trust. They are all out for themselves. Damian’s family is complicated and every one of them seems out to get her.
Marriage is supposed to be one of the best moments of your life, but for Cristina, marrying her monster is terrifying. Damian won’t settle for anything less than her body and her soul. She knows that she is just a pawn in his master plan, but she’s still unsure of his ultimate goal. He says he is doing it to keep her safe, but she has her doubts.
Cristina is on her own mission to figure out what each of the players is in search of. Damian and his twin share a complicated past, yet he still loves his brother. All of their pasts are intertwined and soaked with blood. Plus, Damian is a very powerful business man with enemies, so she has to constantly question everyone’s motives. Being on her guard is wearing her down. She’s going to have to dig deep to fight for the future she deserves.
I looked forward to the conclusion of this forced marriage, dark romance and I loved it. The chemistry between Cristina and Damian is intense even when she wants to resist. He is all alpha, male sexiness and once he decides what he wants, the man takes it. Cristina’s life has been decided for her, but she is ready to take back some control. She has so much to deal with and although she has her weak moments, she perseveres to find the truth.
I am a fan of dark romance, so this duet hit the mark for me. Cristina and Damian’s relationship was intertwined with loss and pain, yet it was worth all the heartache. His passion for her made it easy to love him. He was a hard man, but he had his redeeming qualities. And the epilogues…just perfect!
Dammmmmnnnn!
This was one chest squeezing, knuckle-whitening, moment after another
A couple of things I saw coming but the ultimate revenge???
Never even crossed my mind as a possibility
I knew in the first book that Damian was catching feelings for Christina. I just couldn’t see where or how he was going to be given a chance to expand on those feelings. Not only was his family a problem let us not forget the circumstances surrounding her “arrival” – You kidnap her, inform her for that the next 365 days she is going to be your toy and at the end, you are going to toss her lifeless body in the trash. – Not words that instill trust. He is so warped that even his attempts at affection are muddied and slightly brutal.
Christina is confused and I can’t blame her. Each family member approaches her like they are there for her, her ally, the one to trust in this nightmare of revenge they have thrust her into, all except the sperm donor, you know that man loathes her with a passion. Don’t forget the uncle that slime ball gives me the heebie-jeebies. Lost and not sure if she can trust her own emotions she decides to accept a little from each –
The idea was smart, the execution? Not so much
There was so much betrayal in this finale. I wasn’t sure how they were going to get their HEA. So much damage between them.
They did eventually get it but it was at a pretty hefty price.
Before I forget
I am curious about what happened to the doc? Anyone?
Unholy Intent is the conclusion to Damian and Cristina’s story, and it picks up exactly where the first instalment of the duet ended.
Cristina is living in a den of vipers, she can’t trust anyone in Damian’s mansion. And now that Lucas is in the picture things become even more dangerous. She is forced to marry the man she hates, for her safety and Damian might pretend he’s playing by his family’s rules but his feelings for Cristina run deep. She’s become his weakness and his enemies won’t hesitate to take advantage of that and strike when he least expects it.
The banter and the constant battle of wills between the protagonists made this story even sweeter. I liked Cristina’s determination to resist Damian’s charm, even if she was kidding herself by denying the attraction. And even in her young age, she manages to be fierce and steel herself in the face of danger. As for Damian, he might be ruthless and calculated, but the moment Cristina becomes his, he swears to protect her against everyone, even his own family. There are still secrets between them but slowly he opens up towards Cristina and lets her see the man behind the monster.
The storyline was like a whirlwind, action-packed and full of suspenseful and angsty moments.u2063 And the ending was fitting for their story, I loved all the emotion that poured from the pages. Overall, I enjoyed this duet very much, and I recommend it to everyone who loves dark mafia romance!
I am such a Natasha Knight Addict. Her books are so deliciously dark and sexy that I can never get enough. For that reason, I was so obsessed with Damian and Cristina from page one. Unholy Intent was absolutely amazing and another Natasha Knight winner!
After that mic dropping cliffhanger in book one, Cristina must navigate treacherous waters amidst secrets and lies. I loved her connection to Damian and how drawn to each other they were. This story was sexy and passionate and had the edgy darkness we’ve come to love from this author. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! What a fantastic read! 5 stars! ~Ratula

This book picked up right where the last one ended. I am glad the wait wasn’t long between the first book and the second book because it was definitely a pivotal moment. The suspense and mystery kept on going through the story.
I enjoyed getting to know Damian and Cristina more in this one. There were many facets to Damian and as this story unfolded I got to understand him much more. I felt bad for Cristina since she honestly had no idea who to trust in this den of vipers.
That being said, I wished for more of the story to be fleshed out. It felt almost anticlimactic until the final pivotal scene. I wanted to know more about what the plan was and more about the family rules. The father was a vile wretched man and I wanted to understand what was so magic about the 1-year mark. I wanted to understand the motivations behind the siblings. Even though the author gave one hell of a story, it still felt like something was missing for me.
That being said, I am still recommending this duet because it was filled with the suspense, chemistry, and characters that I have come to expect in regard to romantic suspense. There is a reason that I gravitate toward the anti-hero and the author gave me a great one in this story.
Unholy Intent is the 2nd book in the Unholy Union duet and we are taken on quite a ride in this story. The novel continues where book 1 ended and was filled with lots of twists and turns, lies, secrets and deception. It was action packed, steamy and suspenseful and will have you hooked until the end. This nail biting page turner will have you at the edge of your seat not knowing what to expect next. The characters were well developed, the storyline was interesting and will have you engrossed. This was a great conclusion to this duet and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of dark romance.
