Monsters don’t often look like monsters on the outside. Forced to marry a man I should hate, I’m now bound to Damian. I sometimes wonder what he sees when he looks at me. Deer in headlights, I guess. What I see is clear.Darkness.Desire.Carnal want.A man with too much experience. The day he took me he told me I belong to him. On our wedding night he proved I did. And I believe him when he says … wedding night he proved I did. And I believe him when he says he’ll keep me safe because he won’t let anyone touch what’s his.
But I can’t forget what he is. Can’t forget the things he’s done.
And no matter what, I can’t let myself fall in love with him.

Passion, Revenge, Love and Hate this story has it all in spades
This is the final chapter of Damian and Cristina’s story and what a ride!!
Within this book Damian marries Cristina who has reluctantly agreed to the wedding once again she is a pawn in a far more sordid and complex business transaction. Once again her uncle seems to be in in the shadows, supposedly watching out for her interests and because of his concern for her well-being however, it soon become apparent he is far more self-invested than even Damian had envisioned.
Imagine Cristina’s surprise when Lucas suddenly turns up at the family home and as he begins to spin a web of lies and deceit along with his sister about Damian it becomes apparent that there is no one she can trust in the house, it is a house of lies, deceit and ghosts….
Even though the wedding was under duress it seems that Cristina cannot help her feelings for Damian and their chemistry is highly charged and the feelings are obviously reciprocated, even though she has only one year left if her father-in-law is to be believed. Within all of this uncertainty she has only her cousin that she can trust and who has brokered a type of peace with Damien allowing him to visit when he allows.
This has been a wonderful second book in this series and I do not want to give away the finale but I can assure you that the tension is kept at fever pitch and you will not be disappointed, there are plenty of twists and turns.
voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
“Damian pulls me forward, and I don’t know why I resist. I said I would do this. I made up my mind. But I don’t want it. And the closer we get to that altar, all I can think is—this isn’t a funeral dress at all, but one for a sacrifice.”
What a brilliant duet, Unholy Intent had the perfect balance of light and shade. Damien and Cristina had a tumultuous relationship, but just like the temptation of a decadent chocolate cake, she kept coming back for more. You know it’s bad for you, but it’s sooo damn good you just can’t help yourself. Cristina was living in a world surrounded by shady characters, men who’d stop at nothing to achieve their evil deeds. She was isolated and unable to trust a soul, they told her what she wanted to hear, but was it the truth? Could they be trusted? I love it when I pick up a book and the author has me guessing until the end. Well done Ms Knight on another phenomenal duet.
5 Heart Stopping Stars!!!
Wow….this book was not only an addicting read, but it was good AF. I didn’t want this story to end. About 75% in I started reading slowly because I knew I was close to the end. Damian and Cristina’s story picks up right where the last book left off. Their story is a wild and twisted ride and one that I will not soon forget. These two are scorching hot together and I honestly couldn’t get enough of their story. Even in the end I didn’t want to say goodbye to them. Gosh….who knew you could fall so hard for a monster. The suspense about killed me and omg that heart stopping moment had tears flowing at one point. This was one of the Best duets that I’ve read this year. How do I move on after this read???? Honestly….this is a total must read.
Happy Reading Everyone!!!
Damian and Cristina are in an arranged marriage and have a tension between them. Cristina is finding out about the lies, her father and that monsters are all around her. Damian is good at playing the game. He has Cristina locked in her room to protect her. The promise he made to Cristina to let her go is one that he will break without hesitation. A dark, twisty read with all kinds of surprises.
I’ve finished this book last night, but couldn’t let myself think about it until now.
I’ve mixed up feelings along the book and not all these feelings were welcomed to me (I almost DNF in the middle, but I’m not a quitter, so I pushed my boredom aside, finished it, and I’m glad that I did).
The first book in this duet was a surprise change for me, because it’s a bit of Stockholm syndrome, since she didn’t know that she was promised to him on her 18 birthday, and with a lot of sexual tension but with zero sex scenes.
So this second book starts with a lot of sex scenes right in the first 15% of the book (Which my kinky side was thankful).
The story goes around some kinda of mafia family and a lot of hatred and betrayal in their hunted house.
Damian is fierce, ruthless and hard, and he didn’t expected to feel the way he feels for the young, naive and inexperienced Christina.
Christina in the other hand, was betrayed by the only family that she had left, and knows that she can trust no one.
Their relationship is lust filled, but I didn’t get any real connection between then, apart from the accident that they shared, until the very last end.
Which brings me to the best part of the story. While I’ve got bored and thought that the book was dragging until 60%, I really enjoyed the second half. The mystery around the traitor, wasn’t really a mystery, but the way that she told, and the way that she closes the story, did make it worth my time.
She left a lot of bread crumbs around Christina’s cousin Liam, so I’m pretty sure that he’ll get his own book.
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Cristina’s story begins by showing the reader that this is not a standalone. If you have not read Unholy Union please stop and go back and read that one first. If you want to understand the cast of characters than starting at the beginning will help you out alot.
Damian is still a man to be reckoned with. He still expects orders to be blindly obeyed. His family is very interesting. In this latest addition of the series stranger things start to happen. This amps up the suspense that we got a taste of prior. Here, Cristina seems to be the sane one. She’s been added to Damian’s family but it’s a family of what?
In this book I felt as if I was watching an Italian soap opera. There’s lots of suspense, mystery, and plenty of heat. That means there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Then I started to think of what type of music to listen to and I kept coming back to the Godfather soundtracks.
I liked watching Cristina grow into her new roll and yet being confused by the world she’s been thrust into. The author turns something that seems to get darker as we go along into something light and yes even romantic – and that includes Damian. This is a series that I can see myself reading more than once. It was a very pleasant surprise.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Cristina isn’t sure who she can trust or who will harm her. She wants to take solace in Damian, but she’s not sure if she can trust him or believe he is trying to protect her. There are so many things happening and she is afraid to believe Damian, but when she finds herself in danger more than once, Damian is always there to protect her and save her.
Damian has to convince Cristina that he is the better of two evils in the house. He may seem cruel, but he is only trying to protect her and keep her from harm. He’s fighting the draw he has to her and trying to keep the fact that she is his weakness from getting out. His most ruthless enemy knows though and is already planning to use her.
I enjoyed this conclusion to Cristina and Damian’s story. It is dark, twisted, and full of suspense and danger. Cristina has been a pawn since she was eleven years old. The heir to The Valentina Foundation, but she has no idea the trouble the Foundation is in due to her father’s dirty dealings and now Damian wants to take control of it for her. She will be the name on the contracts, but Damian will run the company to protect Cristina so that the wolves that are part of the Foundation won’t try to hurt her. The DiSanto family is divided and they are fighting amongst themselves. The suspense, action, betrayal and darkness of this story kept the pages turning and I loved every bit of it. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more books by Natasha Knight. I love her dark stories and loved to devour them.
Unholy Intent by Natasha Knight is book Two in the Unholy Union Duet. This continues the story of Damian Di Santo and Cristina Valentina, so you really need to read the previous book ‘Unholy Union’ first before starting this one. This book does pick up where we left off. This book doesn’t slow down on it story line with everything that is going on. Damian knows that he cannot give up Cristina but has her feeling turn for her too? This was a page turning book and series. Loved it.
This is the conclusion to the duet and I really did enjoy this one a lot.
We left this previously with Damiens twin brother back and with plans of his own to exact.
Damien and Christina are preparing to marry supposedly to protect her as this makes her untouchable by family rules.
She will then be Damiens concern her fate in his hands.
This was most definitely scorching and Damien and Christina finally consummate their relationship and it’s as hot as I was anticipating.
There’s also vultures circling overhead and Christina has no idea where to put her trust.
Damien has realised that Christina is far from the toy he originally envisioned when he took her she is now his biggest weakness and his enemies will certainly use this fact against him.
It’s all about to come tumbling down like a pack of cards as everything is finally brought to a head with explosive results.
This was such a page-turner and I read it in one sitting such a fabulous conclusion.
Totally reckoned this duet it was so good.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Unholy Intent (Unholy Union Duet #2).

This is Book 2 of the Unholy Union Duet.
This is the continuing and last part of the story of Damian & Cristina. This story picks up from the cliffhanger surprise that Cristina falls upon at the end of Book 1, and what a surprise it is. I’m not going to reveal it, if that’s what you think. Moving along to Damian and Cristina getting married tomorrow, not by her choice at all. Her wedding dress is another surprise. Nope, not giving that away either. This is a dark, sad, tragic, emotional and steamy book. There’s lots of action in it, too. The continuing story captivates you from the first page. This book is beyond good. The writing is outstanding. It deserves over five stars. Actually, the whole series does. This is a series I could have read more of. Kudos to you, Natasha Knight.
The conclusion to Cristina and Damian’s story had me on the edge of my seat until the very end!! Twists and turns that keep you guessing and in suspense till all the secrets are revealed. These characters are fire when they get together. Absolutely loved and definitely recommend this duet to everyone!!
An intricate web of lies and deception that will persuade you until you see the truth behind the mystery.
‘Unholy Intent’ by Natasha Knight is the continuation of the ‘Unholy Union’ duet, giving you the ending and closure on Cristina and Damian’s complicated story.
This book is incredibly mysterious and intriguing, full of lies and deception that will almost certainly give you whiplash with every corner turned, and even make you shiver with a mixture of curiosity and fear with just the power of words.
I loved the power this author has over the reader’s mind, how she managed to make me question every character and every decision I had made in my mind about them, how she manages to bring to life an eerie and obscure world that will trap you in!
This story is seriously one-of-a-kind, a twisted and complex series of events that don’t seem connected but have meaning and reason behind them and that will set the mood for the whole book!
Damian is a haunted and complicated one that will most probably frustrate and anger you but also melt you into a puddle of goo.
You will learn to love and understand what’s behind his mask and what drives a man like him to do the things he does.
He is hard and always calculating but he is also extremely caring and comforting, showing you two sides of an impressive man.
Damian will become your next book boyfriend with all his charm, the darkness that seems to surround him and his vulnerable yet powerful soul!
Cristina is a young woman who is still trying to figure out how to survive in this completely unknown and new world she had been thrown in.
She is soft and vulnerable, a girl is learning to become a woman while also trying to protect herself from the monsters that are chasing her.
She is a strong and resilient character that will evolve and change throughout the story.
Cristina will become an incredible woman that doesn’t take no for an answer and who does not cower in front of her enemies! She will fight and fight and fight until she comes out on top.
Their relationship is a complex one that was not built on trust or faith, in fact it is broken, and will have to be rebuilt from the ground up and that will test even the most powerful and strong of characters!
I enjoyed diving into this weird and unknown world that made me fall even more in love with the dark side of this universe and its characters!
If you are looking for a book that will test and challenge your mind while also burning you up from the inside out with all the sexual tension and intrigue you to the point you forget about the rest of the world and just resign yourself to stay within these pages, this is the dark masterpiece you are looking for!
Unholy Intent is the gripping conclusion to the Unholy Union Duet. I devoured it all at once, I had to find out what happens to Cristina and Damien. Their back and forth kept my interest, and their chemistry was sizzling! It was so intense, dark, and suspenseful. The twists and turns will keep you guessing which I liked.
I did find that the ending seemed a bit rushed, but it was still a great story.
It took me a while to formulate a review for this series. I was confused in the first part about why all of this was done to Cristina. Well my confusion didn’t let up. I might not have been invested as much as I would have loved too because I love this author’s dark romance.
Needless to say it was an intriguing and suspenseful story. If there is one author who as dark romance on the T is sure is Natasha Knight.
This is part 2 of a duet, it is now complete. Told in a dual POV with an HEA.
Holy smokes- Natasha Knight set my kindle on fire. This conclusion is scorching hot, passionate, suspenseful, and action packed. Damian and Christina’s story captivated me from start to finish. This duet has everything I adore about a Natasha Knight read- the intense love-hate chemistry, undeniable and psychologically riveting attraction, a dark hero on a redemptive journey, and a heroine finally realizing her full strength.I loved it!
Natasha is one of my go-tos for dark romance- she always delivers the amazing dark, alpha, possessive mafia hero that has a softness for his leading lady- and I always love how she plays with power dynamics- how our heroine is often powerless and at the mercy of hero’s darkness but actually has the emotional power in the relationship. Damian and Christina are riveting as a couple- watching these two work through their conflicted feelings and complicated history is just delicious, and now we have the added complications of additional potential foes, or allies, in the form of Damian’s brother. Christina finds out more about their past, and about her own, devastating truths are uncovered, there is betrayal and danger and SO much suspense. Christina has no idea who to trust- is Damian a monster? Can she love a monster- a monster that has controlled her since she was a child with his dark machinations?
The chemistry between Damian and Christina is SCORCHING, and Natasha stops teasing us and gives us all the heat. Damian shows his softness here- and though we still can’t fully trust him we start to understand him more and swoon for him even more- especially as we get more sexy time and as we see his protective instincts go into hyperspeed as he falls more for Christina and as danger elevates. The woman who was once just part of a dastardly plan rooted in a tragic family vendetta is now causing him to question everything, and everyone- and we see him go to great things to keep her. And we see Christina start to find her power- as she tries to stop being a game piece in everyone else’s game. She wants to know the truth, and she wants to understand this attraction she has to her monster. She resists, she challenges, and she fights. Her life has been totally controlled- and we get to see our sweet Christina wade through all the danger and lies to control her destiny.
This forced marriage, captive dark romance was totally my cup of tea- I loved the intensity, the push-pull, the delicious steamy times, the danger, and the romantic suspense. And that delightful epilogue made my heart have all the swoony feelings.
This was a great conclusion to this duet! I loved Damien and his possessive alpha ways! I highly recommend this!
Second installment of the Unholy Union series, Unholy Intent picks up the pace, ups the ante, creating a whirlwind of intensity and hotness.
“All I can think is how they all tell me they’re my allies when I know in reality they’re nothing but my enemies.”
Cristina is more defiant than ever. With Damian, her husband whose game is still very unclear, her loneliness is palpable.
Between Damian, and his twin Lucas, their sister Michela and Cristina’s uncle, the heroine’s nerves are tested, her heart is put at risk. Who to trust? Who are her allies?
Thanks to the eerie atmosphere of the mansion Mrs Knight created, sordid family secrets that I couldn’t wait to unveil, and characters who broke my heart, this books enthralled me.
I can only applaud the poignant development of that conclusion. Lovers of mafia series, forced marriage will love the thrill that never left me. Happy reading!
I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ARC COPY OF THIS BOOK. THANK YOU!!!
Unholy Intent picks up right where Unholy Union left off, with Damian’s brother on the scene, and his appearance is just the foreboding omen Cristina and Damian needed at this crucial moment in their relationship, because a lot happens after he appears. And most of it’s just as dark and bad as you were probably already thinking.
Cristina is still annoyingly (to herself) attracted to her soon to be husband, and he’s informed her their marriage won’t be in name only, oh no, it will be consummated, and he means to get to it in every dirty, delicious way he can think of. This innocent young woman is about to get the education of a lifetime…
I gotta say first, that I was surprised at how much Cristina grew in this conclusion. She continually surprised Damian, in ways that confused and confounded him, even made him angry. As before, she wasn’t some spineless wimp, nope, she fought back, mouthed off, and remained much more than Damian had ever been expecting when he took her. The story leveled off a bit, but also amped up as things around them fall apart, thanks to a traitor (one that I could tell right away who it was), all while Damian was dealing with the feelings his new wife was forcing him to feel. I’ve loved this duet – it’s deliciously dark and sexy, intriguing and suspenseful, and the ending was the perfect cap off for this intense journey Cristina and Damian took.
Unholy Intent is the 2nd and final book in the Unholy Union Duet by author Natasha Knight. This picks up with the cliffhanger Unholy Union left off on. You will absolutely have to read book 1 before starting book 2 or you will be lost. Cristina and Damian’s story will have you on the edge of your seat. It’s absolutely mind blowing, intense , twisted, gripping, emotional, suspenseful, raw, full of secrets and lies, twists and turns, angst, drama, passion, rollercoaster of emotions, feels , betrayal, lust, obsession, love… trust me, this story has everything that you want in a dark romantic suspense read.
Without giving any spoilers away, just know that you will be holding your breath and wondering if all will work out or if all is lost. The story is written just perfectly, with cast of characters that work together amazingly. Dark, delicious and gripping read!
My Rating: 4.5 stars ********
Full of passion, revenge, secrets, twists and a bit of suspense Unholy Intent swept me away with a gripping and steamy dark romance.
Damian was still the fierce and ruthless man I’ve come to adore for but he really upped the ante in this book revealing I side I wasn’t expecting. Christina though young and a bit naive was so much stronger than she realized as she attempted to find her way through the chaos her life had become. I loved watching both Christina and Damian fight an attraction neither anticipated nor could deny.
The twists and turns Unholy Intent took kept me riveted to every word as secrets finally were revealed. I liked that not everything was what it appeared as Damian and Christian kept me glued to my Kindle until the very end. After this great conclusion to this duet I’m a bit hopeful that a certain cousin will get his own story soon.
