Monsters don’t often look like monsters on the outside. Forced to marry a man I should hate, I’m now bound to Damian. I sometimes wonder what he sees when he looks at me. Deer in headlights, I guess. What I see is clear.Darkness.Desire.Carnal want.A man with too much experience. The day he took me he told me I belong to him. On our wedding night he proved I did. And I believe him when he says … wedding night he proved I did. And I believe him when he says he’ll keep me safe because he won’t let anyone touch what’s his.
But I can’t forget what he is. Can’t forget the things he’s done.
And no matter what, I can’t let myself fall in love with him.

When I finished Unholy Union all I wanted was to get my hands on Unholy Intent! All I can say now is WOW!! Unholy Intent starts off where Unholy Union left off & it was totally worth the wait! It was mind blowing, dark, surprise filled reading!
Damian our “monster” is the perfect antihero! Cristina our “spitfire” is the strong heroine! These two are amazing & I dare you to put this book down. This story is brilliant, the delivery is perfect!!!
Damian & Cristina face betrayal, lies, misunderstandings, & so many unforseen obstacles that you just hold your breath through. Honestly this is a total must read!
What a conclusion this was. This is an all the feels read, so much emotion, feisty, with suspense and drama. With an explosive conclusion. Natasha is an amazing story teller!
*ARC provided for an honest review.
Unpredictable!!!
Geez!!! This was so intense. I didn’t know who to believe. I thought they were all bad, then I thought they were all good. I didn’t know who was hiding the truth and who was the real enemy. Just amazingly good!! A must-read for anyone who loves suspenseful sexy drama
The conclusion of Damien and Christina’s story. I’ll be completely honest some parts in this book were hard to get through. Brother against Brother was heartbreaking. That soft spot Damien has for Christina shines bright but it takes him a good long time to realize the life he’s as supposed to have and the life that he wants. Cristina grew into a woman who would not be used or dismissed and realized the true feelings in her heart. I did not think there would be a HEA but Natasha came through on that and made me love this story all the more for it
Unholy Intent is everything you could ever want in a duet ending. The Di Santo family is one messed up family and all you want to do is go and save Cristina from them all. While reading this book you are hoping against hope that Damian is doing the right thing for him and Cristina. But god there are times you just don’t know. But that is what makes this such a great story.
I can not say anything bad about Unholy Intent other than I was sad to see it end.

Natasha Knight delivers another incredibly entertaining dark romance duet. Unholy Intent, the conclusion to the Unholy Union duet, kept me in the edge of my seat. Readers follow Damian and Cristina on a journey rife with passion, chemistry, and intrigue. The story is one of revenge and redemption. A tale that’s twisted and will leave you stunned by the time you’ve read through to the end. In a bid to keep the suspense alive and relay no spoilers, this review will be intentionally short and vague…

The Unholy Union duet is a dual POV, enemies-to-lovers, dark romance and another example of why I rearrange my blog schedule to find time to read Natasha’s brand of twisted love stories. The characters have known more than their share of heartache and trauma. Their lives have been shaped by darkness, greed, death and revenge, yet Cristina is the light to Damian’s dark. They’re an unlikely pair, irrevocably bound together after a night of horror and death. And when Cristina is forced into an arranged marriage with the monster that’s silently stalked her from the shadows for years, she’s unsure of everything. Unholy Union brought the suspense and fear to the forefront of the readers mind just as much as Unholy Intent brought the sizzle and sexiness that I associate with a book by this author. Cristina would have loved nothing more then to escape Damian, her monster, but she found herself enthralled by him as well. Drawn to him in a way she’s never been before. But distrust and fear are powerful motivators to keep the pair apart. The antihero, Damian, was splendidly penned. By the conclusion of this duet, his character arc was brought full-circle and while he still wore his guise of the monster, Cristina saw little of that vestige. I expect the unexpected when reading a Natasha Knight book and she did not disappoint with this duet. If you’re a fan of heartache, suspense, and smoking hot sexy times or like dark mafia-esq romance, the Unholy Union duet had me completely titillated until I’d finished both books in one sitting. I highly recommend this author and these books!!!

This is the second part of this dark and delicious Duet. If you haven’t read the first part then DONT read this one until you have as it picks up straight from where that one left off.
Natasha Knight has outdone herself with this one and the brilliantly written storyline filled with twists, turns, angst, passion, betrayals, suspense, secrets, reveals and love.
I can’t wait to see what this author brings us next.
Another spectacular read from Natasha Knight! Actually, this maybe my favorite by her. Unholy Intent is a complex tale of love, betrayal, jealousy and family drama with an a Gothic feel and a complex plot. Gah! This is so my thing.
Damian and Cristina’s relationship really heats up and not only in the bedroom. Whenever these two are together sparks fly and flames threaten to burn everything to the ground. The plot is fast paced and full of twists that dig deep and kept me guessing until all was revealed.
I highly recommend this duet to readers who love dark romance but also crave a story with complexity and grit.
Such a perfect conclusion to this thrilling duet! This author does arranged marriages expertly. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. There was not one single instance where I was bored or tired of the characters. I loved them all. Even the side characters.
I absolutely adored watching Cristina and Damians love grow in this book. Once they finally married it was a sight to see. Especially seeing Cristinas love slowly thaw for Damian and his rough exterior grow softer for her. I loved every bit of it and the EPILOGUES for them BOTH were so good!!!! I cannot wait to see what else she writes!
What a great conclusion!! Definitely a page turner!! Natasha Knight takes you on a wild ride filled with secrets and obstacles!! Exciting!!
4.5
The epic conclusion to Unholy Intent was just as good as the first. Sometimes with duets they lose some steam in the second book but the author kept this book just as engrossing as the first. Amazing character development, perfect pacing, and a gripping storyline took this book up a notch. A thrilling ride from start to finish that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend this duet to lovers of dark romance and mafia.
Never disappointed in a book by Natasha Knight! She always gives us an awesome dark romance full of back forth, twists and turns and plenty of steamy scenes.
The Unholy Union duet was wonderfully all the above!!! The author gives us awesome characters and an excellent twisted up dark romance that will keep you turning the pages! You will love and hate the hero and side characters throughout this duet!
This duet should be read in order to follow the story line! If you love dark romance, this duet is for you.
Oh my gosh yes!!! I was so happy I finally got my hands on this book!! Even though I didn’t have to wait that long I really needed it bad! And I’m so glad it didn’t disappoint at all!! But the rollercoaster ride it took me on was just crazy!! But like I said i loved every single minute of it!! And Natasha Knight is really becoming one of my favorites to read!! This duet is a must read for sure!! 5 stars doesn’t do it justice at all! -By Tina
I loved this duet. I honestly didn’t know where the story was going to go. The twists and turns had me turning the pages with vigor, desperately needing answers.
Damian was more than I imagined. I kept going between whether I could trust him or not. There was one thing I picked up on in the first book that I thought might be Damian’s true motivation… and I was partly right. His real motivation surprised me. And I think it surprised even Damian! It was hard to figure out who was the monster and who might just be the savior. I won’t say much more but the ending proved who was the savior even if they didn’t really believe it themselves.
It was a wild ride and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The ending was fitting and part of me wonders whether we might see Liam’s story one day…
Oh man! What a wild ride we continued to have with the conclusion of the Unholy Duet: Unholy Intent. Just like with the first one, I could not read this one fast enough. I HAD to know what happened next. I found a lot of my questions I was left with from the first one were answered.
I don’t want to give too much away, but Unholy Intent picks up right where Unholy Union stops with Damian and Cristina’s story. So my heart was racing right off the bat. This book has everything I love about a dark mafia romance: blood, drama and lots of steamy scenes. It also had one hell of a villain, who at times scared the crap out of me. Some crazy events took place during the conclusion of this story, but I wouldn’t of wanted it any other way! Natasha Knight has such a great way of creating a dramatic mafia story and I loved every stressing second of it!
Read these books! But make sure you don’t have anything you need to do, because they will consume you until they’re over
We begin right where we left off in Book 1 with the return of the one person capable to taking everything away from Damian, his twin Lucas. Let me just say, wow did he bring a whole new level of dark and twisty to the story line.
We have Damian and Cristina set to marry in the morning. Cristina is feeling even more of a pawn than ever before. There was so much tension and buildup between Damian and Cristina in Book 1, that the chemistry explodes between these two in Book 2. Damian leaves no room for misconception. Cristina belongs to him, whether she is ready to admit it or not.
The draw they have to each other was all consuming. I wanted him to open up, to soften and be understanding to her frustrations and I don’t know maybe finally explain what the hell is going on. Cristina was left in the dark for far too long, making her vulnerable. At the same time, the one thing I loved about Damien is that he is the anti Disney prince. Our girl never once backs down from him, yes she may not have had a say for majority of the story line, but she made up for her lack of control with all that sass.
I felt just as confused, scared and manipulated as Cristina. Every time I assumed I was untangling the web of lies and deceit, Nastasha ripped the rug right out from under me. It is even more of a life and death predicament than before. I thought this was a fantastic conclusion to the duet. It was dark, alluring and scary. Trust no one!
This was a fantastic conclusion to Damian and Christina’s story! It was hot and sexy, it was full of twists and suspense, it was a real page turner! I read it in one sitting!! I love dark romance, and forced marriages are my cup of tea…I know, I’m twisted! Lol
Cristina doesn’t know who she can trust in this book. Everyone is telling her that she can trust them, but she knows she’s surrounded by enemies who have ulterior motives and plans for her. Damian is so dominant and possessive, sexy as all get out, and he and Cristina are both trying to figure out their feelings for each other, and whether or not they can trust each other. This was a great thrill ride, I truly enjoyed it!
An epic end to an epic duet….. Damian and Christina pick right back up where there story left off in the first book. She struggles with her identity and her place in the world as Damian teaches her who she can trust and who she can’t. She has to decide for herself as she rides the twists and turns of her past and the monsters hiding in Damian’s closet. It was so unpredictable and hauntingly suspenseful that I literally read it in one day. I couldn’t put it down and neither will you!
Unlike some books in this genre, the tone of this book was quite solemn. Not that there are many happy dark mafia reads. But the tone of this was more complex dealing with pain and anguish of many people in the story not just the hero and heroine of the book. It is the villain that you think about the most. He is the physical embodiment of everyone’s pain. He only briefly appears at the end of book one but in this one he hangs over Damian and Christina’s head like the Sword of Damocles. You feel “Sympathy for the Devil”. The scarred villain both inside and out who never healed and wears a constant reminder of loss every single day. What must that do to someone’s mind you wonder? What must that do to someone’s heart? What must that do to their soul? We find out as the villain seeks vengeance against Damian. And what better way to exact vengeance against Damian…?
Meanwhile as the devil plots the fall of Damian and Cristina, they grow ever closer – reluctantly pulled to each other as if magnetized by an attraction that knows no bounds. Their resistance is futile as love and passion blossoms in the midst of the chaos. Damian knows however he can not afford to allow Cristina to pull away from him not when danger lurks so close to home…
This book was a wonderful conclusion to this story. All the elements of heat, passion, danger and love were delivered in just the right combination to make it on my reread list! This story finished the Unholy duet with great purpose and intent!
I could not wait for this book to be released. I seriously wanted an update on the new life of Christina Valentina and Damian Di Santo. This book did not disappoint because we got to see how they fair as a married couple and how Damian kept control over his empire with the snakes in his garden. Between Damian’s evil father and his horrid twin brother the drama and entertainment within the family and outside the family was not lacking. The information revealing the truth to it all in this shocking conclusion was well worth the wait.
