New York Times bestselling author Brenda Novak returns to Silver Springs, where no past mistake is so big the heart can’t find a way to fix it.Jada Brooks couldn’t have known how her life would change when she fell for bad boy Maddox Richardson back in high school. She couldn’t have known his troubled brother would leave hers forever crippled. Or that she’d be forced to shun Maddox … forever crippled. Or that she’d be forced to shun Maddox completely—only to discover she was carrying his child.
Although Maddox was devastated by the events that transpired that fateful night, losing Jada was the worst of it. He’s back in Silver Springs, ready to make amends and provide the kind of youth outreach that once saved him. If he’d known Jada was in town, too, he would never have come.
Jada has returned to Silver Springs to be with family after her father’s death. But when she sees Maddox, every tough decision she’s made concerning their now twelve-year-old daughter begins to haunt her. Falling for him again is so tempting, but not only does she stand to alienate her family—if he finds out about Maya, she could lose what matters most.

This was an absolutely amazing story.I love how Jada and Maddox were able to overcome all that they have been through and start over again.Thank you for an amazing story Brenda
This is a beautifully written book about love, forgiveness and moving on. Had a and Maddox have loved each other for years but a tragedy tore them apart when they were just teenagers. I loved all of the wonderfully crafted, relatable characters in this book. It is a fast read because you can’t put it down. This is a story that could be true. These things do happen. It just goes to show you that true love can survive anything. I absolutely loved this exquisite love story and I know that you will too. Highly recommended read! I absolutely loved it from beginning to end.
Another book in the Silver Springs series and another great read from Brenda Novak. This book can be read as a stand alone. But i would recommend reading the Silver Spring Series. They are all great stories. This is the best book to date. I loved this story and could not put the book down. Jada and Maddox’s story is a horrible tragedy that tears them apart. This book pulls at your heart and builds your frustration. Jada is stuck trying to remain loyal to her family while her heart pulls her to Maddox. And for Maddox, he would never ask Jada to pick him over her family. It’s a great story of not only love, but overcoming our past and finding forgiveness to set us free. It’s a great story with relatable characters and a great heart. Another enjoyable. I recommend this book to all my friends and family. GREAT READ!!!!! If i could give more than 5 stars I would
Another lovely and endearing addition to Brenda Novaks Silver Springs series. A tragedy 13 years ago derailed a lot of lives , even destroying them in some cases. The victims foamy finds it Incredibly hard to move on. Even the one with a secret she has been keeping for all those years. And she did, until the one person she should have told the truth to moves back to town right before she did. Tempers are high and angers is felt by many, except the woman who used to love a boy, before it all went wrong. Feelings that never went away. Deeply emotional and tragic, thus story has it all. But love and forgiveness shine through and make it the perfect addition to this magical town.
When mistakes of our youth, have tragic long term affect on two families. Learning to forgive others as well as ourselves to be able to move forward in life. This book has such a realistic feel to it, that it could be about a number of families in real life!
I am really loving this series. This book was everything I love about BN’s writing…lots of angst, family and romance tied up in this second chance at love story.
I loved it and cannot wait for Tobias’ story!!
Excellent read. Have enjoyed this series.
I love the Silversprings series and this one just might be my favorite! I say that for every book I read of Brenda’s but it’s true. They have all become my favorite after I read them. Thank you Brenda for writing such fantastic books!
Silver Springs I’m on my way!
Another captivating love story set in picturesque Silver Springs! Brenda Novak continues to knock it out of the park with this series! I can’t wait for Christmas in Silver Springs and it’s only March!
Great love story, how love can exist even when family and circumstances cause it to be broken off…Jada and Maddox have been thru alot and how they overcame family and society’s interference. As usual
Brenda has written another great book.
SILVER SPRINGS has been a strong series but TBH I was a bit worried when I started UNFORGETTABLE YOU because I found it hard to agree with some things that Jada did both in the past and present. But true to the series, it’s all about redemption. Not to take anything away from Jada and Maddox’s story but the whole time I was reading about Tobias, I was wishing he’d get his own book. I was very happy to read the note from the author at the end confirming my hopes. I can’t wait for CHRISTMAS IN SILVER SPRINGS!
3.5 stars
I’m a fan of Brenda Novak, partly because she doesn’t shy away from difficult topics. I’ve found that this series, in particular, has characters with a lot of flaws and heartbreak in their pasts. In most cases, the most flawed of the characters in each book is one of the former students from New Horizons. In this story, although Maddox has had a rough life, I felt Jada was much more flawed.
Maddox seemed to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. Not just because he’s the type of guy who will stand beside those he loves and has a strong moral compass. He also took on a lot of blame for things he wasn’t responsible for, having people judge him by his mom and not for himself.
Jada also carried a lot of guilt with her. A large portion of that guilt is not deserved. Her parents were absolutely wrong in how they handled a terrible tragedy that happened to her family when she was a teen, in the process they piled blame on her where it did not belong. On the other hand, I felt she did deserve some of the guilt she carried. I can understand her being scared and unsure of how to proceed with her life when she was young. The decisions she made to keep secrets once she found out that Maddox was back in town made me so angry that I often had a hard time reading this story. I’d find myself sympathizing with Jada and rooting for her and Maddox to find their way back to each other, then she’d make another bonehead decision and I’d lose all faith in her and get upset again.
There is almost a charming element to the chemistry between Jada and Maddox. They’re both trying so hard not to hurt anyone around them, including each other. Yet they cannot deny the pull they have toward each other.
There were some surprising favorites for me in this story; Tobias was a pleasant surprise and Atticus eventual wormed his way into my heart. There were also some extreme disappointments such as Jada’s mom. Even her best friend, although super supportive, didn’t really think through her advise in my opinion.
Since Tobias found a solid fan in me, I’m excited the next story will feature him. His story is really quite tragic and it will be wonderful to see him get his life turned around.

I loved my return to Silver Springs and getting to know Maddox, Jada and their families and friends. Thirteen years ago they both moved away. They have recently returned to Silver Springs and as it turns out when they see each other their connection was never lost. It turns out some people are truly “unforgettable”. In the end Love Wins!!
Unforgettable You by Brenda Novak is the fifth book in her Silver Springs series, but the first I have read. I have to say I love this author’s writing and her characters so much. She has a way of giving us stories that can be heartbreaking and heartwarming and completely spellbinding.
Jada Brooks and Maddox Richardson were once in love, but his brother changed all that and shattered so many lives in the process. Driven apart, years later Jada and Maddox find themselves back in their hometown. Maddox wants to make a difference in others’ lives and Jada is back to be with her family after a tragedy. But Jada has a secret. Once they come face-to-face, will they be able to put what happened aside and find their second chance or will pressure from the outside drive them apart again?
Unforgettable You by Brenda Novak was both an emotional and heartwarming read about second chances, love and family. I loved Jada and Maddox so much.
Happy reading!
Unforgettable You is book 5 in the Silver Springs series by Brenda Novak. WOW! Very well written with great characters and an amazing second chance romance story. Brenda Novak has another winner, she doesn’t disappoint. I coudn’t put it down. Highly Recommended!!!
I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. You just ached for all the people involved. The saying goes, “You can never go home”. Jada Brooks and her daughter are going to try going home to Silver Springs to help her mom. Maddox Richardson was never at New Horizons long enough to consider it home but Aiayana Turner has a different view. She believes it is time to rip the bandage off so that the healing can begin. In the midst of all the turmoil, there is Maya Brooks, the precocious child of Jada and best friend Annie. They will have you smiling. Before you can get to the HEA, there are issues that need to be settled. I loved the ending!
5 book in the Silver Spring Series.
Jada is back home with her daughter Maya, after a divorce. Maddox is her high school boyfriend. Maddox’s brother, Tobias shot Jada’s brother, Atticus at a party, and He is paralyzed from the waist down. Jada is helping with bills for her Mom and Brother. I don’t like how Atticus’s Mom babies him, he is confined to a wheelchair, but she acts like he is unable to get a job, or help out around the house. I think she treats him like a baby and I don’t like that part of the story.
Maddox and Jada are talking but since his Brother left jail, He says He is not good enough for her.
Everything is cleared up in the end. Can’t wait to read more of this series, and this Author!
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
One night changed their lives forever. For 13 years Jada Brooks has carried the guilt of her brother’s disability, the pain of lost love and the weight of the secret she’s been keeping.
Maddox Richardson left Silver Springs after that night. Though he carries his own regrets for that night, he’s put aside his misgivings and agreed to return to Silver Springs as principal of the New Horizons School for Girls. He keeps himself busy with his new job and makes an effort to stay out of the way of the Brooks fasmily. One night, feeling bored and lonely, he heads into the bar in town for one drink.
Jada knew returning to Silver Springs after years away would be difficult, but as long as Maddox wasn’t there she could handle it. A chance encounter one night stirs old feelings. One short text brings Jada and Maddox back together. While their feelings for each other bloom again, old animosities threaten to tear them apart.
The latest Silver Springs novel is riddled with angst, love, regrets and lots of emotion. But most of all it’s a story of letting go and moving on.
The path to happiness sure was paved with heartache for Jada and Maddox. After one tragic night when they were teenagers Jada and Maddox paid the price with their hearts , her brother Atticus paid physically and Tobias spent his formidable years in prison. Thirteen years changed everything except the love Jada and Maddox have for each other. It took a lot for Atticus to forgive the past but clearly it was best. Sometimes we have to realize that holding onto a grudge hurts us more than the one we hold the grudge against. I loved the story of Jada and Maddox and can’t wait for Tobias to find his happy ending.
Unforgettable You is Book 5 in Brenda Novak’s Silver Springs series. Even though it’s Book 5 and some of the characters in the earlier cameo appearances, it’s not a deal breaker if you haven’t had a chance to read the earlier stories yet as this stands perfectly fine on its own.
Wow! This story brought out all the feels. Emotional, dramatic, tragic, heartbreaking but oh so good. There were many times throughout I wanted to literally shake a couple of the characters! There was one loose end that wasn’t quite 100% tied up yet at the end but I strongly suspect we’ll see that resolved in the next story. Can’t wait!
