Back then, I had it all.
Wicked fastball. Killer instinct. Cocky grin. Full package.
(And believe me, I knew how to score.)
My senior year, I was a first round draft pick with a two-million-dollar signing bonus. Before I could even legally buy myself a beer, I made my Major League debut.
Point is, I was invincible.
Until one day I wasn’t.
After tanking my career—during the World Series, no … tanking my career—during the World Series, no less—the last thing I want to do is return to my hometown, where every jerk in a ball cap has an opinion about what went wrong with my arm. So when my sister drags me back to town for her wedding, I vow to get in and out of there as quickly as possible.
Then I run into April Sawyer.
In high school we were just friends, but I’d always wanted her, and I’d never forgotten her—the red hair, the incredible smile, the crazy, reckless thing we did in the back of my truck the night we said goodbye. It’s been eighteen years, but one look at her and I feel like my old self again. I can still make her laugh, she can still take me down a notch, and when the chemistry between us explodes, it’s even hotter this time around—and I don’t want it to end.
But just when I think I’m ready to let go of the past and get back in the game, life throws me a curveball I never saw coming.

I have adored this series. I didn’t have a sister, just three smelly brothers. I didn’t even get a girl child, just three boys made of slugs and snails and puppy dog tails. To read books with lovely close sister relationships makes me happy.
So April Sawyer, sister number two by birth but the last to get a book. The sensible one. But the sensible one who made a mistake and that mistake sort of put her life on pause. No spoilers, I’m not saying what the mistake was.
Tyler Shaw was a local boy who became a superstar. Then life crashed and burned and he hid himself away and licked his wounds in private. But then he comes back home. And home means reacquainting with April. Two people looking for the next direction in life.
Unforgettable totally had my heart but the end of this book is the key to why this book and this series is so lovely. It’s got love, kindness, forgiveness, friendship and family at the heart of it. It’s about finding your home, I don’t mean a house, I mean finding a purpose and all of the pieces coming together.
“It’s not just about the ballfield. It’s not about strikeouts or home runs or the speed of a fastball. In the end, it’s about who’s there for you, and why. Through the highs and lows, the wins and the losses. It’s about the people who love and support you through anything because of who you are, not what you do. It’s about family.”
I know Melanie finished writing this book when the world is turned on its axis and I think this quote is so pertinent to what we are going through:
“This is a place where family means more than just DNA. It means opening our doors and our hearts to strangers. It means showing up for our neighbors. It means reaching out when you know someone needs it. It means forgiveness, acceptance, compassion, joy. And it’s that feeling you get when you know you’re home.”
A beautiful ending to a beautiful heartfull series.
***3.5 stars***
Sweet, sexy, inspirational, and emotional small-town, feel-good, friends-to-lovers romance about second chances.
Tyler and April share more than history. They have been friends since high school but one night changed everything. They haven’t spoken in eighteen years. He reluctantly goes home for his sister, Sadie’s wedding but plans to go there and leave right after the wedding. He doesn’t want to stay in a town that will remind him of his failures. While there he runs into April again. April is more beautiful than he remembers and he is having a hard time resisting her. Old feelings surface but there are complications too. Tyler doesn’t want forever, he just wants to enjoy right now. April wants a happily ever after, husband, kids, etc. When she sees Tyler again, she can’t deny her attraction to him but she wants to be careful not to let her heart rule her head, but she can’t resist his charm. Will ghosts from the past and Tyler’s failures become roadblocks to their happiness?
Overall, this was a good book. There were tons of emotions, steamy times, heartbreak, and healing. I thought that some parts felt rushed. April forgave Tyler way too quickly and easily on more than one occasion. There were also times that Tyler was too stubborn and a little annoying but he does redeem himself. The secondary characters are great. You do not have to read the other books in the series. This is a completed standalone that ends in a HEA.

BEAUTIFUL STORY! I’m a little bit sad to have this series wrap up to tell you honestly.
Unforgettable is the 5th book in the Cloverleigh Farms series by Melanie Harlow. Each book Cana be read as a stand-alone but these stories are just so good that you’ll want to read each one,
Unforgettable is the story of April Sawyer – the second oldest of the Sawyer sisters and it is finally her time to find her one true love. This time April is reconnected with her high school crush – Tyler Shaw – who has been away from home for the past 18 years.
A fast paced and quick read. Unforgettable is a true enjoyment for romance fans.
5 star Review Unforgettable (Cloverleigh Farms # 5) by Melanie Harlow
I was hesitant to start Unforgettable, knowing that this is the last book in the series. There is humour and this was such a well written and entertaining read that I was completely captivated from the first to the last chapter.
I have been not so patiently waiting for April Sawyer’s story and it was everything I hoped for and so much more. The chemistry between April and Tyler is off the charts and smoking hot. As their friendship develops, the banter and conversations got better and better; Melanie Harlow has saved the best for last .
This has always been a series based on family and that is something that Ms.Harlow writes with emotion and love and Unforgettable is certainly emotional and romantic.
What a way to end the series! This time we get the fifth Sawyer sister, April Sawyer story and it was one that will have your heart aching by her past. She works the event planning at Cloverleigh Farms and is planning a wedding with an old friend, Tyler Shaw’s sister.
April and Tyler were close back in the days. She used to babysit his little sister and they were good friends growing up. He was cocky, he was known for his wicked fastball, and he was the full package and more in everyones eyes. He was given the opportunity to play baseball and even made it in the Major Leagues. Unexpectedly his career ends during the World Series and he is living on the down low and avoiding people constantly asking what happened and giving advice. With his sister wedding coming up he ends up going back to his hometown and runs into the April who begins to makes him feel like his old self again after spending time with each other.
They had one night together before he left eighteen years ago and it was one that they both have not forgotten. Their chemistry is still there between the two of them; however, they have a history that will have them questioning the decisions that were made back in the days and how to come about it now. A curveball that will make or break one our both of them.
Seeing the updates of all the Sawyer sister will bring out more feels and appreciation of family bonding. This was a sweet way to end the series!
Unforgettable is the last book in the Cloverleigh Farms series, it’s April Sawyer’s story about her first love. Tyler Shaw, a hotshot baseball player who had it all back on highschool and then in the MLB that was until he lost his pitch. Melanie Harlow saved the best for last and with it she gives her readers a story of young love, doing the right thing taking responsibility for your own actions, and being honest with yourself and those who you love and love you. There are a few twists and turns but overall it’s a story of love and second chances.
Melanie saved the best for the last . I was anxiously waiting for April’s story from the beginning of this series and her story was sooo worth the wait . Like all the stories in this series this was a gem on it’s own and truly a masterpiece. It’s captivating and engaging. I was mesmerized from the first page up all night reading this story. Both Tyler and April were so relatable and realistic. The story was heartwarming, emotional and at time heartbreaking. There was a time I wanted someone to talk some sense in Tyler. Hands down this series has to be one of my favorite series and Melanie has given a reader truly a gem with this series. Every book in this story is like a pearl in a necklace. I am honestly sad this series has ended and I have to say bye to Sawyer family. Definitely a must read and deserves all the raving reviews and more infinite stars.
I love visiting Cloverleigh Farms and The Girls. And Tyler was a huge hit 😉 as well. April and Tyler pulled at my heart strings with their history, emotional challenges and overall personal growth. Tyler deserved a quick slap or three but April handles his crazy grumpiness so well, along with all the extra that came along. And I’m really hoping this isn’t our last visit to Cloverleigh??
This book! This family! This series! I am so sad its over!
April and Tyler stole my heart! And that Tyler…I didn’t think anyone could compare to my love for Henry!
April and Tyler reconnect after 18 years. What was just supposed to be a weekend fling turns into so much more.
April has worked so hard to come to terms with her past and forgive herself for the right decisions she made. And a fling with Tyler is a perfect way to move on.
Tyler cannot get over his failures but once he reconnects with April he starts to feel like his old self. But can he actually overcome his fears and give her everything?
What a great story to end this series! It had all emotions I love to feel. All the feels!!
Don’t miss out this!!
Cloverleigh Farms is one of my favorites series because of Melanie Harlow’s way of making me feel like I’m coming home especially with this family. These characters have worked their way into my heart. When I saw that Unforgettable had hit my Kindle, I put everything down and started reading April’s story. I had been waiting for this Sawyer sister, finding out her secret in the previous book had me wanting to find out how she was going to face her past and the young guy that changed her life.
April Sawyer and Tyler have a second chance to find out where their relationship could have gone if he hadn’t left to fulfill his dreams of playing in the major leagues. I have to admit that Tyler pushed some of my short fuse buttons when it came to his insecurities but damn did his good looks, love, and sexy ways win me over.
April, she’s so sweet, patient, kind, beautiful, sexy and her most wonderful trait is her great big heart of caring for others. When April was young she had to make a choice that affected her heart and the way she looked at relationships, she kept her self guarded when it came to men. I love how Harlow touched this very delicate subject that April had kept secret. Unforgettable is a second chance at love, strong families, and realizing what truly matters in a life romance story that I highly recommend reading.
5 Must Read Stars!
So frickin fantastic
Love Tyler and April. I absolutely love it. Melanie Harlow is amazing and can just suck you into a story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the fifth and final book in the amazing Cloverleigh Farms Series. OMG! I loved April and Tyler’s story! This is a great small town and second chance sports romance. The storyline is sweet, emotional, fun, and beautifully written. April and Tyler are both amazing characters. The supporting characters are wonderful. I love these series with intertwined characters. The ending is beautiful. I highly recommend it!
What an incredible end to Melanie Harlow’ Cloverleigh Farms series!! This second chance romance checks off all boxes when you want to read a sexystory! I loved the instant chemistry between Tyler and April. Tyler was the perfect BBF, strong, alpha, broken and sexy as hell. April was an instant like for me. She had her past issues to deal with and just wanted to find her forever love. She was self confident, a natural beauty with her red hair and freckles, and she knew how to put Tyler in his place. This is one book I will remember fondly. The steamy scenes were sizzling hot and natural. I just couldn’t gt enough and was sorry for it to end! Grab your copy today!
Tyler Shaw used to have it all. He was an MLB pitcher at the top of his game, until he wasn’t. When he has to come back to his hometown for his sister’s wedding, he runs into none other than April Sawyer. He liked her in high school, and the feeling was mutual.
The night before Tyler left town, April gave him a piece of herself, and what came after was an entirely different ball game. Running into Tyler was supposed to help April close one chapter of her life, so that she could start another. But what if their story isn’t over?
I absolutely loved this story. I think April’s book is my favorite from the Cloverleigh Farms series. This was a book that I didn’t want to put down. The chemistry between Tyler and April is off the charts, but not only that, their banter. I love that they have this fun banter between them, it added a lightness to their story. I loved being able to watch April and Tyler grow as individuals and move forward in their lives. Absolutely amazing story, and I’m sad that this is the end of the Cloverleigh Farms series. Every book was phenomenal, and I encourage you to read all of them!
Tyler and April were friends in high school, then he got drafted by the major league teams and neither of them thought they would ever see each other again. Though neither of them forgot each other running into each other was weird for both of them. Tyler came home for his sisters wedding and April had moved back to town to help her family run Cloverleigh Farms and she now was his sisters wedding planner. So they meeting was inevitable. When they saw each other neither could deny the pull they felt, but they had to choose if they were going to ignore it or follow through. April had a ton of things in her past she was trying to forgive herself for and Tyler had lost his baseball career and didn’t want anything to do with another human as long as he lived. Now after seeing April and all the feelings coming rushing back he had to decide if he was going to listed to his rock hard head or listen to his heart!
“Wherever you are is home to me. And I don’t want to leave home again.”
I have loved all of the Sawyer Sister’s journeys at Cloverleigh Farms. April’s story was no exception. April and Tyler’s book was nothing short of spectacular! So many twists and turns. Some of you don’t see coming.
Watching these two characters find their inner strength and overcome their fears was such an absolute joy to watch unfold. So much passion, acceptance, forgiveness, and determination in this beautiful couple. I hung on every stunning word.
The entire series has been so amazing! April and Tyler’s story was the perfect conclusion to the sister’s journeys. I adored every single word. An absolute MUST READ!! 5 stars!
Heartwarming, charming and complex second chance romance.
This is a unique second chance romance as the characters are seeking not only second chances in romance but also in life.
April and Tyler’s are great friends who have great chemistry and their banter made reading their story really enjoyable.
Although this is book 5 in the Cloverleigh Series, each book can be read as a standalone.
Tyler and April’s story was my favorite of the series! Their connection and history made this story unique. I’m sad that this series is over. The connection between these sisters is great and Melanie Harlow manages to give great family/friend relationships, supporting characters, an amazing setting, and sweet, steamy just enough angst stories throughout this whole series. I recommend this book, and the whole series (of standalones) too.
Unforgettable is book 5 in the Cloverleigh Farms series and I must say that Melanie Harlow sure knows how to wrap up a series! This beautiful story is aptly named as it truly is unforgettable. For those who have not read the rest of the series, this story reads as a complete standalone. Prior reading is not necessary but there are tons of spoilers for the rest of the series and I’d be greatly remiss if I didn’t recommend books 1-4 because they are also must-reads. But feel free to jump in with this book first and know that you’ll be getting a complete standalone that is easy to follow. I promise you’ll immediately go back to read the other stories.
I adore the Sawyer sisters. I want to be IN the Sawyer family! I love the relationship the sisters have with one another and truly envy how they support and love each other. April is strong, resilient and successful. Events of the past have haunted her and shaped who she is today. As she begins to find ways to heal, Tyler reappears after 18 years of being away. A successful baseball player, he has a spectacular fall from grace and has been holed away, out of the public eye. My heart ached for him something fierce. But when these two reconnect, something magical happens. Tyler starts to live again and April discovers a side of her that was long missing. Together, Tyler and April are electric.
Harlow pens a beautiful story, taking her readers on a journey of self-acceptance and love. It’s emotional and raw and will tug at your heartstrings throughout. It truly is the perfect ending to the perfect series! I’ll miss the Sawyer sisters but couldn’t have asked for anything more with Unforgettable. 5 stars
I was looking forward to April’s story and it did not disappoint. Melanie Harlow has a way of writing that you can’t help but fall in love with the characters and their story’s stay with you even after you finish reading. This family will always hold a special place in my heart. Tyler and April really have become the favorite for me in all the series.
I am just sad this series has come to an end. All the sisters are happy and in love and my heart is content but the greedy reader in me always wants more. Book one in this series was an introduction to Melanie Harlow’s words and with every book in this series she has quickly become an all time favorite author of mine. This complete series is an ABSOLUTE must read!! This is the perfect binge read for these crazy times. The best escape into such a beautiful world. Don’t miss out!
