Back then, I had it all.
Wicked fastball. Killer instinct. Cocky grin. Full package.
(And believe me, I knew how to score.)
My senior year, I was a first round draft pick with a two-million-dollar signing bonus. Before I could even legally buy myself a beer, I made my Major League debut.
Point is, I was invincible.
Until one day I wasn’t.
After tanking my career—during the World Series, no … tanking my career—during the World Series, no less—the last thing I want to do is return to my hometown, where every jerk in a ball cap has an opinion about what went wrong with my arm. So when my sister drags me back to town for her wedding, I vow to get in and out of there as quickly as possible.
Then I run into April Sawyer.
In high school we were just friends, but I’d always wanted her, and I’d never forgotten her—the red hair, the incredible smile, the crazy, reckless thing we did in the back of my truck the night we said goodbye. It’s been eighteen years, but one look at her and I feel like my old self again. I can still make her laugh, she can still take me down a notch, and when the chemistry between us explodes, it’s even hotter this time around—and I don’t want it to end.
But just when I think I’m ready to let go of the past and get back in the game, life throws me a curveball I never saw coming.

Ah! I love the Cloverleigh Farms series SO MUCH! I had a feeling that the last book might just be my favorite since I am a baseball fanatic- and I was correct. Tyler and April’s story was, as the title suggests, Unforgettable. After we learned April’s secret in Unbreakable, I couldn’t wait to read more. This book is full of emotion and I was so impressed by how April handled her journey. What an amazing woman! The banter and humor in this book was just perfect, yet the serious moments were handled so well also. This series will be one I recommend often to other readers. What an amazing ending!
Small town, second chance, and sports romance! All right up my alley. Melanie won my heart with this one.
Without a doubt, this series has been as this book is titled: Unforgettable .
What happens when you get a second chance to be with someone who you have never forgotten?
How do you face a past that you just can’t let go?
I love sister stories and Melanie Harlow has a gift in crafting such endearing creations.
Unforgettable brings to life the last of the Sawyer sisters, April. Eighteen years ago she made a decision that she does not regret, however, she finds herself in an emotional standstill. She wants what her sisters have found, Love .
Tyler had an incredible night with April Sawyer many years ago. A night he has never forgotten, a night he would love to relive. When he comes back home for his sisters wedding, he begins to explore the next phase in his life. One that might include April.
From the moment I started the book, I could not put it down. I loved it. The bond of sisterhood that we have seen grow within the series. Love, lust, and laughter. Everything you need in a romance novel. Especially when you give yourself a chance to love for the second time around.
I highly recommend this read.. without a doubt, it will be Unforgettable .
I am so sad the Cloverleigh Farms series is now over…but what a way to go! I loved Frannie & Mack’s story (1st book) but I believe April & Tyler have taken over the favorite spot. I could not put this book down!
April Sawyer has watched her 4 sisters find love over the past year. She’s finally focusing on her happiness and finding a way to let people in. Her role as event planner at Cloverleigh Farms has brought someone from her past back into her life, at least temporarily. Their goals are very different in life – April has some and Tyler doesn’t. His career imploded and Tyler’s lost in his misery, happy to be a hermit. Their chemistry is off the charts but is it enough for Tyler to see there’s more to his life than his career? Will a secret they’ve kept for a long time finally be told on their terms or will someone dig it up and use it against them? What happens when they are face to face with it, especially when Tyler wanted to leave it in the past? See…ya gotta read this!
**Thanks to Social Butterfly PR and the author for this ARC which was provided to me. I volunteered to leave a review. My opinion is my own and has not been influenced**
I really enjoy Melanie Harlow’s writing. It’s so quick and easy to read and her characters are so real and yeah a whole lot of them have flaws and baggage.
These two are no different. This is the second chance romance of the last of the sisters in this series to get their own book.
April and Tyler were kinda friends growing up. Then they became something more. Then Tyler got drafted to the MLB.
Now it’s twenty some odd years later and Tyler’s career is over, and he’s heading back to their small town for the wedding of his sister.
That’s all I can really say about this story plotwise without spoiling things in a pretty big way.
What I love most about Melanie Harlow’s writing is that although a lot of the characters she writes have issues, they are not insurmountable. The angst is never too heavy (at least in the books I’ve read of hers so far)
This story is sweet and very emotional. It is part of a series but can be read a standalone.
This might be the end of the Cloverleigh Farm series, but this author has a fan for life in me and I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next.
4.5 stars
Melanie Harlow has managed to capture my heart once again with this sweet and sexy friends to lovers second chance romance. Unforgettable, the fifth and final book in the fantastic Cloverleigh Farms series was everything I’d hoped it would be. With its amazing character chemistry and small town charm, I didn’t want to stop reading. Melanie Harlow provided laughs, swoons, emotions, and heat. I’m just bummed this series had to end.
In Unforgettable, we finally get April’s story. I feel like I’ve been waiting for her story for forever. We’ve gotten hints here and there about her life in the other sisters’ books but she deserved her happily ever after too. I absolutely adore April. She’s officially my favorite Sawyer sister. April was so giving and caring and just generally a good person. The guilt she carried for the decision she made when she was eighteen kept her from putting herself out there. However, I really enjoyed seeing her seek help to move on.
As I mentioned above, the character chemistry in the book was on point. I’m am so obsessed with April and Tyler’s connection. They had an ease to them. Besides being red hot together, they had a real friendship. She calmed him as he struggled to find his place without baseball.
Unforgettable is a prime evidence why Melanie Harlow is one of favorite authors. Her words always seems to make me swoon and feel joy. If you haven’t met the Sawyer sisters yet I implore you to do so immediately. These Cloverleigh Farms books are dreamy, and sexy and everything you want in a romance.

Unforgettable is book 5 of the Cloverleigh Farms series (if you haven’t read any other books in the series, do that. They are really good). April’s life has been consumed by guilt for something that happened 18 years ago that she is currently working through with her counselor. She is finally staring to feel her progress and comes to a decision that will not only effect her life but the lives of others. Tyler is a wash-up major league pitcher that “lost” his pitch during a World Series game. Now almost a recluse to avoid criticism, he arrives in town for his little sister’s wedding. April used to watch Tyler little sister as well as tutor him. Tyler and April has a easy friendship that they immediately fall back into which leads to other “friendly” activities. Suddenly, Tyler finds himself questioning his return to his lonely existence in-favor of staying and pursuing a relationship with April. He even has a job offer to help coach the high school baseball team. When everything seems to be falling in place, Tyler’s world explodes and he finds himself running back to California.
This book was so good. I think it is my favorite of the Cloverleigh Farms series. April and Tyler made a mistake but really but had to make tough, adult decision at a young age. I loved how April really brought Tyler back to life as well as helps him with his demons. Unforgettable was a sweet, sweet love story. Melanie Harlow knows how to write romance and you can never go wrong reading any of her books.Melanie Harlow
What a fantastic end to a series! Tyler and April’s book had plenty of sigh worthy moments along with a lot of moments that simply made me smile. A great story about forgiving yourself and learning to believe. Great book!!
Tyler, a first round draft pick for MLB, was the most talented pitcher to be drafted straight out of high school. He even received a multi-million dollar sign on bonus. He thought he had the world at his feet, until the “yips” struck. Tyler worked hard to overcome his mental block, but couldn’t figure out why he could no longer throw a strike. Tired of people offering advice and trying to “cure” him, Tyler became a recluse. He never thought he’d return home—until his sister surprises him with her wedding announcement and pregnancy. Tyler comes home for an extended weekend, but ends up extending his stay after reconnecting with a certain redhead…
April Sawyer has never forgotten the child she gave up for adoption. April didn’t blame Tyler for not wanting to be tied down when he had just been drafted, but couldn’t overcome her guilt. April knew she wasn’t ready for children at 18yrs old, so she decides on a family to adopt her baby. Eighteen years later, April still struggles with the guilt associated with adoption. In hopes of finding her HEA, like her sisters, April seeks counseling to work through her issues so she can find closure. April knows Tyler will be home for his sister’s wedding, but doesn’t expect to feel as strongly about Tyler as she did at 18.
Unforgettable is the fifth and final novel in the Cloverleigh Farms series. The series follows each of the sister’s in finding their HEA. Out of all the novels, this was one of the most heart wrenching. The story is very realistic and relatable, As an Aunt to adopted children, I applaud Melanie Harlow’s accuracy in family dynamics and emotions involved in the adoption process. The stigma women feel when choosing to give their child a better life is shocking. I would rather a child be given a chance at a better life, than possibly be neglected or abused. I also appreciated the mom’s willingness to give her son the opportunity to meet April and Tyler—discover more about his background. The willingness of April’s family to welcome their whole family into the fold, was also touching. Highlights include: Tyler’s chats with his sister, the twins across the street, Coach and his wisdom, and the clovers! I used to hunt for clovers as a child and still have some pressed in my Bible. LOVED it!. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
I could not get enough of Unforgettable by Melanie Harlow! It was a blast from the past into warped speed into the future. I love a book brings a story that has the past intertwining with the future. Melanie brought life to this story with her magic! April is so sweet and lovable. She is built to be there for her friends and family. She is loyal and loves fiercely. She is my kind of gal pal.
Tyler is our broken hero of the story. I was glued to him through the whole book. He soul has so much yearning that I was glad he was learning how to be complete again.
Unforgettable is about finding your way again. Coming to peace with decisions made from the past. Learning how to let others love you. And at the end, understanding the good that came out of difficult decisions. My heart was left smiling.
Yes my friends. The romance is out of this world. It was like coming back home. April and Tyler clicked back into place and there is a small bit of drama. But that is where you see these characters take form. Unforgettable was beautifully written and had me on the edge of my seat because of stubborn hero. I loved this story and love Cloverleigh Farms more with the family and friends it brings together. The rest of the side characters (one major character that captured my heart too), you can’t help but wish this place was within arms reach.
This book lives up to its’ title. It is Unforgettable. I’ve read each book in the Cloverleigh Farms series and Tyler and April’s story is my favorite hands down.
April is the last of the Sawyer sisters and we had learned in the last book that she had given up a child for adoption after she had graduated from high school. This book reunites April with the child’s father and their journey from friends to lovers had me turning the pages late into the night.
I loved watching April come to terms with her past. She was such a strong, sweet, feisty and independent woman who knew who her self-worth. She called Tyler out on everything and he needed that.
Tyler was an MLB pitcher who could no longer pitch and is angry with the world. He’s closed himself off from everyone, but there’s something about April that makes him feel comfortable in his own skin again and allows him to start living again. I loved watching him come back to alive and build a new life for himself.
The chemistry between Tyler and April was explosive and I was holding my breath waiting for that first kiss. How they fell so easily into each other’s lives was beautiful. They truly brought out the best in each other.
I am so sad to see this series end. I have truly loved each book and the Sawyer family is like old friends that I’m sure I will have to revisit again and again.
I love the Cloverleigh Farms series and was so excited for April’s book. This story is so sweet and emotional as April and Tyler reconnect with each other and deal with their past so they can move on with their future. Their chemistry is amazing.
April is such a strong woman even though she’s been carrying a secret burden for half her life. Watching her try to work through her feelings on the past so she can have a happy future was heartbreaking. Tyler was so grumpy because his life took an unexpected turn that he didn’t know how to deal with. Reconnecting with April brought out the man he wanted to be and helped him overcome everything he was going through. These two were just perfect together and their story was just amazing.
This is the last book of the series and the most emotional one. I have been looking for April’s story for so long. All the books are so great but April was always on the corner, waiting for something, she sound so interesting and alone.
Her story is emotional and so beautiful. Tyler is perfect for her but I think even he did not know that, after all he had a goal of being the best player and baseball was everything, until it wasn’t…
What now?! I think like showed Tyler that he had to have a life and other people matter, connections matters.
This story is beautiful, sexy and you can seel all the sisters together. I think Melanie Harlow is achieving a wonderful writing style over the years and it is becoming delicate and sentimental and sophisticated.
I love this book and really recommend it!
I am so sad to say goodbye to this series. I have loved every story in this series but I think she left the best for last! I have been intrigued about April’s story through, especially as things have been revealed and Melanie completely outdid herself with April’s story.
This was one beautifully written love story. 18 years on and April and Tyler are finally standing a chance and getting their HEA. Melanie really packed the emotions with this one. She brought drama, family, love, emotions and so much chemistry im sure steam was coming off my kindle.
Well done Melanie on this simply brilliant series. I can’t wait to see what you bring us next
How does she do this to me? I love, love, love this small-town second chance romance. I hate to see this wonderful series end, but I can’t wait to see what Melanie does next!
