Back then, I had it all.
Wicked fastball. Killer instinct. Cocky grin. Full package.
(And believe me, I knew how to score.)
My senior year, I was a first round draft pick with a two-million-dollar signing bonus. Before I could even legally buy myself a beer, I made my Major League debut.
Point is, I was invincible.
Until one day I wasn’t.
After tanking my career—during the World Series, no … tanking my career—during the World Series, no less—the last thing I want to do is return to my hometown, where every jerk in a ball cap has an opinion about what went wrong with my arm. So when my sister drags me back to town for her wedding, I vow to get in and out of there as quickly as possible.
Then I run into April Sawyer.
In high school we were just friends, but I’d always wanted her, and I’d never forgotten her—the red hair, the incredible smile, the crazy, reckless thing we did in the back of my truck the night we said goodbye. It’s been eighteen years, but one look at her and I feel like my old self again. I can still make her laugh, she can still take me down a notch, and when the chemistry between us explodes, it’s even hotter this time around—and I don’t want it to end.
But just when I think I’m ready to let go of the past and get back in the game, life throws me a curveball I never saw coming.

What a perfect way to end the Cloverleigh series with April and Tyler.
Unforgettable had it all – a great second chance romance that comes back together after April and Tyler are separated for 18 years. There is also heartache on both sides that resolves beautifully. Ms. Harlow does a great job tell both stories with dual POVs – something that I just love. For me personally it did strike a huge cord and I appreciated the sensitivity that Ms. Harlow took to write their story. We also get to see the other sisters which I also loved.
All in all Unforgettable is a perfect way to end an unforgettable series.
April and Tyler’s story in Unforgettable by Melanie Harlow has been a long time coming, but it was worth the wait in every way!
Cloverleigh Farms and the Sawyer family have become so familiar to me and I have felt connected to these fictional characters from the get go. I say this every time, but having been born and raised in Michigan, and visiting Traverse City every year made reading these books even more enjoyable.
Tyler was a great hero. He had a TON of baggage to say the least. He had a lot to deal with and work through. And April was the perfect match for him. We’ve gotten glimpses of her in previous books, but finally getting more of her story with Tyler… I couldn’t put it down.
Fantastic ending to the Cloverleigh Farm stories! I’ll miss it but cannot WAIT for what’s in store next.
This is the perfect end to this series! I have so enjoyed reading the Cloverleigh Farms series. Getting glimpses of the former characters throughout each book in this series makes each book feel like you are coming home to visit your family, and this book is no different.
I absolutely loved this story. Tyler and April had an interesting history before Tyler left to start his baseball career. The chemistry they still had when they bumped into each other years later made this second chance story so enjoyable to read. One of my favorite aspects of Melanie’s writing is her ability to make such lovable, funny and relatable characters.
It can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend all the books in this series!
I’m absolutely not ready for this series to end.
While not exactly a second chance romance(because they didn’t really have that first time), Unforgettable definitely checked all of those boxes.
April and Tyler had a past that most don’t share.
A night together.
An unexpected child together.
And then nothing.
Nada.
Squat.
A when they are brought back together, sparks don’t exactly fly, but so much more. With a past like that, what else would you expect.
Completely enjoyed Unforgettable and I hope we will get to see more of these characters in the future…. (crossover maybe?)
Unforgettable is the fifth and final book in the Cloverleigh Farms series. This is with out a doubt a favorite series of mine. It is a friend to lover/second chance romance. All the Sawyer sisters have
fell in love and found their soulmates now it is time for April’s HEA.
This is Tyler and April story, April is last of the sisters to get their story, and I have to say that Melanie Harlow left the best for last. I love April as our heroine she is so mature and calm, level headed, she is the wedding planner at her family’s vineyard. We had not met Tyler as of yet, heard about him in earlier books but don’t think by name. He is one broken hero, down on his luck baseball pitcher, doesn’t think to highly of himself, and he was super grumpy. Tyler comes back to his home town for his little sister’s wedding…..the same town where April lives. See where this is going?? Chemistry between April and Tyler was amazing, off the charts sizzling!!!
There is some unfinished business from right after high school, namely an unplanned pregnancy that was given up for adoption. They had not seen each other or been in touch since then. This was a huge secret she kept from her sisters, but the Sawyer girls never disappoint they circled April with their love and support.
They each have to face the regrets of their past, try and mend the broken pieces that needed healing, whether that be alone or together!! I was hooked from beginning to end, and the way that the author wrote the adoption storyline was amazing, with gentle loving hands!!
The entire last chapter was emotional and poignant, the epilogue absolutely beautiful and the perfect ending to this series!! It is all about family no matter how those relationships were made!!
“I don’t know what the second act of my life is going to look like, but I know you’re the best part of it.”
This has really been one of my favorite series and I’m pretty sad that it’s over but it really went out on a high note because April and Tyler’s story was pretty wonderful! It’s not exactly a second chance romance since they were never a couple, instead, they were friends back in their teens and ended up crossing that line only once – the night before Tyler was set to leave to pursue his dream as a major league baseball player. Their lives went in very different directions after that and they lost touch for the next eighteen years until Tyler returns home – with his now-defunct pitching career in tow – to attend his sister’s wedding at Cloverleigh Farms. The same chemistry is there when they reconnect and it’s making them both think all kinds of crazy thoughts about what the future might hold. That is until their past suddenly collides with the present and could cause Tyler to run for the hills.
I think the thing I liked most about this story was their level of maturity and their open communication. I love it when couples actually talk to one another. They had to deal with something pretty heavy from their past but it was always out in the open and allowed them to address and deal with it rather than hiding it or harboring secrets. Their reactions were always made in light of having all the information instead of actions born from misunderstandings. All of this resulted in such an easy and natural connection between April and Tyler. They had such amazing chemistry and I was rooting for them the entire time. Tyler had the tendency to get all up in his head, especially given the way his illustrious baseball career suddenly tanked. The doubts and insecurities it caused spilled over into other aspects of his life which kind of made him the wild card in the duo. April was clear with her intentions from the get-go and I had no doubt that Tyler’s heart was always in it, but sometimes his head threatened to get in the way of their happiness.
I really loved how everything turned out though, it felt natural and authentic and the ending left a giant smile on my face. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending for April and Tyler or for the series as a whole. I’m sad that our time at Cloverleigh Farms is over but I will always look back and remember these stories with fondness. They are quintessential small-town romances and have a little bit of everything to satisfy the romance lover in all of us!
Tyler’s perfect life, perfect career is over and now he’s back in his hometown for his sister’s wedding. He knows April will be there – her, the one he left after an awkward encounter neither had been expecting. He’s never forgotten her, though, and since he’s in town, he hopes she’ll be up for a reunion…
Dang but this one hit me right in the feels. It’s super emotional, and the perfect way to end this amazing series. I adored April and Tyler together. She’s so sweet and loving, the last sister to fall, and when she fell, whew, she picked a hot (but sweet and sexy) mess to fall for! But honestly, these two, though Tyler may be a hot mess, he’s a sweetheart, which is only appropriate considering that April is just as sweet and loving as he. I’m really sad this series is ending, but if it had to end, Melanie certainly saved the best for last!
Another wonderful book by Melanie Harlow! “Unforgettable” is an amazing book to close out the Cloverleigh Farms series.
Tyler and April’s story is complicated and messy but so worth it. A definite must read.
OH MY GOSH! Brand new, second-chance, small town sports romance from the amazing Melanie Harlow!
This is Book 5 and the final one in the “Cloverleigh Farms” Series.
Being tha last one we know the story of every character and this fact makes the reading even more entertaining and fantastic.
This is the story of Tyler and April. The only thing that ever really mattered to Tyler was baseball. The sport was his life but suddenly he couldn’t play anymore. His mind tricked him and he couldn’t perform as he used to do it. a
When he comes back for his sister’s wedding he reunited with April. And at this point the magic begins…Wonderful story, great characters and the best possible end for a fantastic series!
18 years ago, Sadie made a big decision to put her son up for adoption. Now 18 years later, that decision is weighing on her. She’s holding on to the guilt and she needs closure and finally move on.
Tyler is back to the place he never really want to go back to. But he’s back only for his sister’s wedding then he’s off to seclude himself to his cabin after ending his career really bad. But maybe his time there wouldn’t be so bad after all, with him spending some time with Sadie. Just like 18 years ago..
Their story was so touching and heartfelt. Their second chance wasn’t an easy journey for them. I love the bonus epilogue! My heart’s melting! This was a perfect ending to the series.
I have loved every book in The Coverleigh Series and this was the final HEA we needed!!
Melanie Harlow writes with so much heart and soul and weaves her magic in the book world with romance for the ages. She creates her characters with a whole lot of loving, plenty of drama and yummylicious sexy times. Her Cloverfield Farms series is one of my favourites. Totally Irresistible, absolutely Undeniable, completely Insatiable, downright Unbreakable and definately Unforgettable.
A perfect read.
It’s always hard to come to the end of a series. We’ve gotten little glimpses of April’s story in the previous books but Unforgettable is April & Tyler’s book. And it has all the feels. Melanie Harlow has created a unique family dynamic as well as a special bond between these sisters. Family and unconditional love means more than anything else. Tyler has come back home to attend his sister’s wedding. April is coordinating it and they are both surprised at the immediate spark they feel upon seeing each other again after 18 years. Tyler is having a difficult time as his career has just ended and April, although she has been working on her issues, knows she needs to be truthful with her family. Tyler & April want to pursue the incredible feelings that being together again have elicited but can they believe it will last? This is a beautiful second chance love story, full of true love and trust. And the perfect ending to an absolutely incredible series. You do not want to miss out. Let this be you next 1 click!!!
This series has been my favorite from Melanie Harlow. In the last book, she teased a bit more about April and her past. I was so excited for Unforgettable and Melanie didn’t disappoint. Each book has been an incredible journey!! Each one is full of all the feels, delicious romance and swoony alpha men. Tyler Shaw is no different. A baseball player who’s career ended too soon, he’s having a hard time adjusting to the second chapter in life.
April and Tyler haven’t seen each other in years. They had an emotional experience together when they were young that shaped them each differently. While April is still working through her’s, Tyler had thought he’d moved on however is struggling with his life choices. Together, their connection is infectious and instant. Romance blooms quickly and they are everything together!!
Melanie writes the most beautiful characters. Not only are they a little broken to start, but they love fiercely to the point of always putting someone else first. I had so much empathy for them both, my heart melted for April and Tyler. Their path to happiness as paved with healing, rebuilding trust and following the unknown path. I love the little bit of angst built in there too, it’s never a simple road to get back to the one you’re meant to be with.
Melanie crushed this series book after book. Each one better than the last, each one with the perfect HEA!
I loved this book so much!!! I was grabbed from the very beginning and didnt want to put it down! I loved April and Tyler so much! Melanie does such a good job creating a small town family oriented series. I didnt want this book to end! I want more!! There was no unnecessary prolonged drama either, which I appreciate! This was by far my favorite book in this series. If you love second chance romances make sure to read this one!
Received an arc for an honest review
A really satisfying final love story for the Sawyer sisters.
Let me start by saying the Cloverleigh series is one of my absolute favorite contemporary romance series. Melanie Harlow has created a world full of emotion, love, humor and heart. Following the Sawyer family as the sisters all found love was a real treat.
This book is April Sawyer’s happily-ever-after, and hers is the longest road with some painful detours. April and Tyler have a complicated history, much more complicated than he ever knew. Their relationship grows more deep and more intense over time, and Melanie Harlow wrote the evolution of their characters and their relationship with such heart.
Add to that the depth of the relationships between April and her sisters, and Tyler and his sister, Sadie, and you have a book that works on many levels, exploring each of the main characters from many angles.
The chemistry between April and Tyler was amazing. There was a slow build filled with so much tension as they tried to withstand their attraction.
I just absolutely loved this book! (And how about that cover!!!)
This is Tyler and April’s story. They were great friends back in high school. For Tyler, April was his sister’s babysitter who also helped him with his homework. For April, Tyler was the “crush” she held unto all the while they were in school. Be prepared for some WHAMIE surprises!
Now that Tyler has retired from professional baseball, he has to face what to do with the rest of his life. This is not easy to do when the one thing you focused your entire life to do fall apart in front of millions of fans.
Be prepared for the emotional reunion of these two characters and all the consequences that come from decisions made when they were young.
Did I mention I loved this book?
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.
What a way to wrap up this series!! I have been so excited to read April’s story, as the sister who took it upon herself to care about the rest over herself, I was so ready to see her happily ever. and trust me it was even better than I though it would be. For one let’s talk about Tyler Shaw, hot as sin former MLB pitcher with a chip on his shoulder and a bad attitude about how he left the sport… that’s the material for a prime brooding alpha and I fell hard!
Tyler and April had such great chemistry from the start, which is probably from the fact that they were friends back in high school, so stepping 18 years into the future it was so sweet to see how they could reconnect so easily. these two were meant for each other, even if the road was not short or smooth but for both of them it was worth it and I loved reading their story play out. When reading a book by Melanie Harlow you can expect a wonderfully written characters, a love story with strength and passion and ANGST! Unforgettable was a beautiful end to a delightful series!

I have been dying for April’s book for FOREVER! Melanie has been giving us hints to her past, especially in Sylvia’s book, and I’ve been wondering what her story would bring.
I absolutely loved watching her & Tyler reconnect. Their chemistry and banter…it was so entertaining. Tyler was so grumpy & arrogant, and I just loved when April would take him down a couple notches! These two were an amazing second chance romance! I loved learning their past and seeing how they worked to their HEA!
