Back then, I had it all.
Wicked fastball. Killer instinct. Cocky grin. Full package.
(And believe me, I knew how to score.)
My senior year, I was a first round draft pick with a two-million-dollar signing bonus. Before I could even legally buy myself a beer, I made my Major League debut.
Point is, I was invincible.
Until one day I wasn’t.
After tanking my career—during the World Series, no … tanking my career—during the World Series, no less—the last thing I want to do is return to my hometown, where every jerk in a ball cap has an opinion about what went wrong with my arm. So when my sister drags me back to town for her wedding, I vow to get in and out of there as quickly as possible.
Then I run into April Sawyer.
In high school we were just friends, but I’d always wanted her, and I’d never forgotten her—the red hair, the incredible smile, the crazy, reckless thing we did in the back of my truck the night we said goodbye. It’s been eighteen years, but one look at her and I feel like my old self again. I can still make her laugh, she can still take me down a notch, and when the chemistry between us explodes, it’s even hotter this time around—and I don’t want it to end.
But just when I think I’m ready to let go of the past and get back in the game, life throws me a curveball I never saw coming.

I must confess I am a bit said. I loved the Cloverleigh series very much. I can’t get enough of all of the Sawyer girl. Each one has been unique, somehow fearless yet scared. But I believe April was the most selfless of them all.
After she released the secret she has kept for the last 18 years she could finally step by step move forward.
I also loved Tyler. I was so many times cheering for him and I also wanted to stuck his belief of not being worthy somewhere…where the sun doesn’t shine.
But let me tell you I absolutely loved the attraction and hunger for each other.
Anyway like I said I am a bit sad the series is over but I can say straight away it was one of my favourite series ever.
April and Tyler finish the Cloverleigh Farms series and what a home run. This second chance romance is full of suspense and secrets. Blasts from their teenage pasts that can’t be forgotten, burning questions and all the feel leave emotions running high as secrets are unravelled, I loved every second of this one. If you haven’t read this series do so!
4.5 stars
We’ve come to end of the Sawyer sisters stories and for me the author saved the best for last. I’ve always like the reconnecting of past to the present kind of plots and I’ve been eager to hear April’s story since we got a hint where it was headed. Plus I admit the hero being a sports hero with a good back story is always appealing.
April and Tyler went on their own ways after the being friends in highschool. They had their one moment but eventually separated. Now Tyler is back it could be awkward but it’s like old friends meeting again. But there’s thid chemistry this time. As they spent time together that connection grows, I like that it’s both physical and emotional. It shows too they talk and have fun, even with all the steamy moments in between.
Yes there was a big elephant in the room about that one night in the past they have to deal with. Also Tyler and his naysayers, those critics and ex fans. Life of an athlete. But he realizes what’s truly important before it’s too late. I like despite the grovel there was also time to trust again, they also talked it through he did make up and man up which for is a good resolution.I liked some of this series more than others but the general idea was spot on from Melanie Harlow. It has her style all the way.
April is always the one sister you can count on to be responsible. She always puts others ahead of herself but years of sacrificing and pretending has finally gotten to her and the truth must be told. Tyler knew exactly what he was doing with his life. He was a hotshot pitcher throughout high school and made it into the major leagues. Something not even he knows what, all the talent he possessed was suddenly gone. Without a life of playing baseball he was lost as to what to do with himself. He returns home for the his sister’s wedding and to the other person who felt like home. One started as dinner developed into something beautiful. They have past trauma to deal with. Tyler is constantly pulling away and forcing himself to hide his feelings. April is finally ready to face the decisions of her of her past. Now they both have to face the past before it haunts their future. Tyler will learn there is life past baseball and sometimes you can get a second chance to make things right.
more like 3.5 but i’m biased. since the first book i was drawn to April and i don’t know why because literally it wasn’t until Sylvia’s book that we knew a little more about her story and when THAT SECRET was revealed i was in shock.
the blurb doesn’t say much, but this was like a friends to lovers kinda second chance romance with an unexpected pregnancy that took a turn that at least i had never read before trope.
April was super cute and sweet, i loved that she was on this healing journey and was doing her best to have a happier and healthier life. Tyler was… i don’t know, he wasn’t a bad character but sometimes i felt a little disconnected from him. they served a cute romance anyway and the extra epilogue was so literally my kind of content
I think Unforgettable has become my favorite book in this series! Which is a huge feat because I absolutely love Mack and Frannie!
I am a sucker for second chance romances and April and Tyler’s story is just that. Melanie’s writing draws you in from the first page and keeps you hooked through the entire story. You can feel the emotions her characters are going through as if you are right there with them.
I am so sad to see this series end. I wouldn’t be mad if Melanie decided to write a spin-off or a Next Generation *hint hint*
I can’t wait to see where Melanie takes us next!!
„Only you have the power to hold yourself back or push yourself forward. Decide for yourself which one it will be.”
To be honest I was dreading this moment, because I’m so in love with this series that I don’t want to say goodbye. I adore Sawyer sisters and their other halves, so reading April’s book was a bit bittersweet, because I really wanted her to find her happily ever after and at the same time I felt sad that it leads to the end of this incredible series. But Melanie Harlow sweetened the deal and made this parting such an amazing experience that I have hearts in my eyes, butterflies in my belly and the biggest smile on my face. Unforgettable has a perfect title, because you won’t forget this beautiful story!
Tyler and April’s novel is a tale about second chances, forgiveness and coming to terms with the past decisions. It’s a heartwarming story about finding hope and strenght to face your fears. This amazing journey shot me straight in the solar plexus and filled my heart to the brim with sympathy, understanding and love. During this read I’ve shed a few tears, I laughed and I blushed. I loved to see how both of them were changing and how they were bringing out the best in each other. April and Tyler had a lot to overcome, but their powerful chemistry made it so easy to fall in love!
This book was heartbreakingly beautiful. April and Tyler’s love story was touching and emotional and definitely not what I expected. It hit me straight in the feels and I can’t even express the amount of adoration I have for these two. There were moments of devastation and sadness, but also heartwarming times that brought pure joy. Melanie managed to balance all of the emotions this book contains and provide the best reading experience. Unforgettable is the perfect conclusion to Cloverleigh Farms series and I love it with my whole heart!

An interesting twist on a second chance romance. I enjoyed the baseball element, because a good baseball romance is hard to find. I also enjoyed how the characters behaved in ways that I wouldn’t have necessarily expected. It feels like a fitting ending to the series, and the bonus epilogue is super sweet.
This is the last book in the series and it could not ended with a better story. The whole series is great and I enjoyed them immensely. I love the way Melanie Harlow writes and it’s so amazing that I can read her book on KU. A brilliant ending to an wonderful series
April the heroine is one of the strongest I have read about in quite a while. Making life changing
decisions at 18 is the crux of her past and present. Tyler a MLB star pitcher loses his pitching arm
and goes back to his home town for his sister’s wedding. Tyler and April have not seen each other
in 18 years a lifetime ago. They were friends through high school and April was crazy for Tyler
back then. When they meet again for the first time in 18 years Tyler has an instant attraction
for April. The story takes off from there and the biggest secret April has hidden for 18 years
come out. The second chance for them both at their ages is a sweet and heartfelt story. I loved
the cloverleigh farm series and enjoyed the audiobook with the sexy voice of Sebastian York and
Maxine Mitchell narrating April’s story.
Check out this blurb and tell me it’s not one-clickable. Seriously.

Love this whole series, this may be my favorite…sad to see the series end!
Yessss. All the feels!
Loved this!
Tyler! MLB super star, until it was over. Defiantly thinks he’s cursed or toxic and cannot makes the right decision to save his life.
April! Love her heart! Back in her hometown, event planning for her families venue. Super successful. Haunted by some secrets she needs to say out loud.
April was Tyler’s friend back in high school, 18 years before. She’s also the planner for his sister’s upcoming wedding!
This is a second chance, friends to lovers romance!
I loved this!
Melanie Harlow
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
Well, this is one series that I couldn’t possibly pick a favorite couple from. It truly is an amazing series about love and family. Melanie Harlow has created such wonderful for characters for us to fall in love with. I absolutely adore Tyler and April and their sweet, emotional second chance love story. So many wonderful things happen in this book and even though it took so many years for them to get another chance, what’s important is that they get one. Things weren’t totally easy but luckily there were enough people in their corners to make sure everything was clear. I loved it!!
Without a doubt my favorite book of this series! I have loved each book but something about this story just dug deep into my heart. I laughed, cried and smiled throughout but didn’t want to put this book down for a second, I was so enamoured with these characters. The guilt and pain that April went through was so raw but the forgiveness was the key to opening her heart again to love. Tyler never realized the impact of his one night with April, he was living his best life playing baseball but what happens when that comes to an end? These two finally reunite after years apart only to rekindle the inevitable flame but will the past come back to haunt them or will that flame burn on? April and Tyler’s story is one that will give you all the feels and one you most definitely need to read! This is hands down a top read for 2020!
I loved April and Tyler story. It has everything you need for an awesome story. I loved the humor and the chemistry. I also loved their history. I’m sad to see this series end.
I am sad to read the end, I have loved the Cloverleaf Farms series and the Sawyer family.
This is April’s story. She and Tyler were best friends growing up and they they didn’t talk again.
April is coming to terms with the results of their last night together before he left for the big leagues. Tyler faltered in his baseball career and he is back in town for his little sister’s wedding.
We see the importance of family, second chances and finding love.
Beautiful ending to the series. I loved the whole family and the whole series!!
If you’re looking for an amazeballs small town, second chance, sports romance… this one is for you! Melanie Harlow’s newest release isn’t to be missed!
Small town second chance romance with heart!
