Back then, I had it all.
Wicked fastball. Killer instinct. Cocky grin. Full package.
(And believe me, I knew how to score.)
My senior year, I was a first round draft pick with a two-million-dollar signing bonus. Before I could even legally buy myself a beer, I made my Major League debut.
Point is, I was invincible.
Until one day I wasn’t.
After tanking my career—during the World Series, no … tanking my career—during the World Series, no less—the last thing I want to do is return to my hometown, where every jerk in a ball cap has an opinion about what went wrong with my arm. So when my sister drags me back to town for her wedding, I vow to get in and out of there as quickly as possible.
Then I run into April Sawyer.
In high school we were just friends, but I’d always wanted her, and I’d never forgotten her—the red hair, the incredible smile, the crazy, reckless thing we did in the back of my truck the night we said goodbye. It’s been eighteen years, but one look at her and I feel like my old self again. I can still make her laugh, she can still take me down a notch, and when the chemistry between us explodes, it’s even hotter this time around—and I don’t want it to end.
But just when I think I’m ready to let go of the past and get back in the game, life throws me a curveball I never saw coming.

4.5+ STARS…April Sawyer is the wedding planner at Cloverleigh Farms. She has seen her sisters find love and is realizing how lonely she is despite her romantic occupation. But she is also still dealing with some issues from her past that still haunt her and has not been able to really move forward.
And one big piece of her past is walking right back into her life eighteen years after going through something major. Tyler Shaw is the brother of one of her current brides so he is coming home.
April and Tyler used to be great friends and also shared one special night. But he went off the major leagues and never looked back. He was the golden boy with the magic pitching arm and found fame and fortune. But he lost it. Now he is angry, lost, and feels like a failure. He has nothing to ground him and no goals for his future.
As these two reconnect, they begin to heal each other a little. She needed some closure and attention. She gives him hope and actually sees him as a man and not his facade. They have camaraderie, rapport, and amazing chemistry. But it is just supposed to be a temporary thing while he is there.
And as they revisit the past, sometimes it finds a hold in the present. Tyler has never been a man who believed in commitment and he is very unsure about his plans. And now that he is struggling, his self-loathing just exacerbate those fears. And April is a sweet girl just hoping for her happy ever after while also trying to put her past mistakes behind her. I really loved them together, but wanted to smack Tyler on the head sometimes due to his self deprecating behavior.
I am sad to say goodbye to these characters. I love this group of sisters and their mates. They have all had their own issues and have overcome them to find love. I love the setting of Cloverleigh Farms and it feels like a real place now. This final installment is sweet, sexy, emotional, and swoony second-chance romance with a little twist. It focuses on finding hope, dealing with the past in order to move on, and the importance of finding a home and family. I was thrilled to get a wonderful epilogue and final tie-up for this series as well.
Friends to lovers with a second chance thrown in too. I’ve been dying to read April’s story since meeting her in the first book. She seemed to be hiding something from her family and I wanted to find out what it was. This is my favorite of the Cloverleigh Farms series. Tyler is a bit broken and April helps him realize baseball isn’t everything, family is. Highly recommended
Sweet lord, Unforgettable certainly ended the fantastic Cloverleigh Farms series with one hell of a bang! From the start, I knew April’s story would be the one that broke me—and it was, when I needed tissues at about 10%!
I loved how April grew in strength and love of her family and herself throughout the series, but not more than when she finally admitted her past and confronted it too. I loved April’s resiliency and ability to finally forgive herself for decisions she made when she was a teenager. And for keeping her secret from her sisters.
And, wowza, did I love April together with Tyler Shaw.
Tyler’s got his own cross to bear too. He’s the town baseball star who can no longer play. His whole self-worth is tied up in playing ball—at least in his own mind. And it’s April who finally helps him realize he has much more to offer than being known for choking on the mound in the World Series.
I loved seeing April and Tyler fall in love—for real this time around. To finally give into what they both thought were unrequited feelings. Their attraction to each other—even after eighteen years—hadn’t lessened and I loved their passion and deep-rooted connection.
Unforgettable is truly a second-chance story. Second chance to make things right. Second chance to make a different choice. Second chance to share secrets. Second chance to find love and live the life that’s finally within grasping distance. And be sure to have some tissues handy—you’ll need them!
4 stars!!
“You deserve to be loved the way I’m going to love you.”
April and Tyler were good friends growing up and had never crossed the line into more. On the last night Tyler was in town before starting his baseball career, they gave into one night of passion and April ended up pregnant. At eighteen, she chose to give her son up for adoption and Tyler went off to play ball. They lost touch over the years and never spoke of it again.
Now, Tyler is back in town for his sister’s wedding and the wedding planner is none other than April. When Tyler and April see each other again, it’s not as awkward as they expected. They instantly reconnect, the spark from years ago igniting once again. He’s only home for the weekend so they decide on a little fun but when feelings get involved, everything changes.
I have been waiting for April’s story ever since we learned of her past, and her book was worth the wait. It has a wonderful mix of both lighthearted and emotional moments, and I easily got sucked into the story.
I loved April. She is such a wonderful woman. She gave her son up for adoption because she knew it was the best thing for both of them but she has kept her feelings hidden. She’s ready to face them head on and I love how strong she is. She doesn’t need to prove her strength because it’s always been there, and I admire her bravery for the difficult decisions she made. It took courage and maturity to do what she did, and I wanted her to find peace and closure with her decision.
Baseball was everything to Tyler…until it wasn’t. Now, he is lost without his talent. He is grouchy and a jerk every time he thinks of his failure. He is set in his ways but when he comes home for the first time in years, things start to change in a way he never expected. He is vulnerable and I was rooting for his strength to shine through so he could overcome his insecurities and his pain. I loved watching his character grow throughout the story, and by the end he was who he was meant to be.
From the beginning, April and Tyler are both clear on what they can be. They have a past but they don’t have a future. Casual and short term is all they want and they are good with that. Yet, when feelings resurface, they don’t know what to do now that they want more.
April and Tyler are hot and heavy but it’s not just about the physical time together. They have a connection they can’t deny and I felt it. They have fun together and an easy friendship that turns to so much more. I love watching them open up and learn to trust each other. There is a lot of growth between the two of them, each facing different things, and I loved being with them as they realize what is truly important.
“I don’t know what the second act of my life is going to look like, but I know you’re the best part of it.”
Overall, Unforgettable was an entertaining and emotional second chance romance, and a wonderful conclusion to the Cloverleigh Farms series. I am sad to say goodbye to the Sawyer family but I know I can see them again whenever I want just by starting from the beginning!

Melanie gives us April and Tyler an emotional second chance love story. I loved the friendship between them both in the present and the glimpses we get of their past. Unexpected chemistry betweeen friends doesn’t always work it can feel awkward and forced but the progression of their relationship felt natural and real. The author threw a curveball into their story but it was written with sensitivity and feeling. The one thing I’ve enjoyed with all these books is the family connection that is present in every one.
Ya’ll.
I am so sad that this series has ended. But. What a way to go. This story just made me feel all the feels and then some. Just when I thought I had things worked out on what was going to happen, Melanie threw a curve ball. And it made the story sooo much more. April and Tyler’s story is the best one of the series, in my opinion! You will fall in love with them.
*4,5 stars*
I really enjoyed this series, even though I haven’t read them all yet, I really enjoyed April and Tyler’s story. One that definitely will get your heart beating and swooning left and right for leading man Tyler!
Tyler never thought he’d be back in the town he left behind so many years ago but for he’s back for his sister’s wedding and already made a decision to go back home right after even though his career has ended on a bad note. When he reconnects with April there’s just something about her that feels right and makes him feel more himself than he has the last few months. Who knows she can be the one to get him back on track after everything he has been through but it’s not easy with all the gossip in town. April and Tyler went through a lot years ago and were very good friends. After rekindling their friendship, April still feels a lot towards him but there’s one thing from their past that they haven’t really dealt with. Even though their relationship is progressing into something more, Tyler still has a lot to handle. Will they finally have a chance together? And will they finally be able to move on from the past ?…
Wow!!! I absolutely adore this series and Ms. Harlow has kept the best one for last! This story was emotional, it was heartbreaking, it was swoony, it was heartwarming, it was everything! Loved the storyline, the characters were awesome! I don’t think I have ever rooted for a couple like I did Tyler and April! With everything going on in the world right now I have found myself not being able to concentrate on reading like I normally would. I have had several DNF. I would like to thank you Melanie Harlow for giving me a few hours of being able to tune out the real world and getting lost in a great book! I hate to see this series end but you sure took it out with a bang! Loved it!!!
And now I have a favorite by Melanie Harlow!
I can’t believe I’m saying that – and believe me, I’m not saying it lightly, because I love Melanie Harlow’s work – but I have a new favorite.
This author has this incredible gift of making us fall in love with any character she writes, no matter how important to the plot they are. But this time, she went above and beyond.
I can’t even begin to describe. The Sawyer sister are just wonderful, it’s impossible not to love them. Their guys are ones we have to love. Their parents are so supportive, so loving and caring. Tyler’s sister was just another little crystal.
This time we also had other faces to love so easily. I mean, I don’t even know the names of the twin sisters, but I already want a book about them (and other people as well, but I don’t want to give any spoiler).
And Coach Virgil, oh man was he adorable? I loved every time he gave his two cents and I always wanted more. For those of you who read Only Love (and if you haven’t, please do), you’ve met Grams. Well, he is just like her meddling, good-natured self, but only a little grumpier and wearing a baseball hat. How could I not love him?
Speaking of baseball…oh my, Tyler. Correction, I’ll take away the comma: oh My Tyler (much better, totally claimed).
He is a new level of grumpy, but I can totally relate to him. He felt lost, like he has failed everything, he was second guessing himself, vulnerable like he had lost everything. And in some way, he did.
But April, with her sweet and nurturing way, was just what he needed to find his place again in this world.
These two together were pure gold. They’ve known each other since they were kids, and even though it wasn’t exactly a romantic knowing, they shared history, an intense one.
I loved how naturally their relantionship developed. Their banter came so easily, it was light, natural, like a second nature for both of them.
They connected and reconnected without realizing it, because it was like those kind of relationships that just clicked.
They didn’t force anything. On the very opposite, things were rolling smothly, deeper and deeper at every moment. It was just right, it fit, it was meant to be.
When they finally realized what was happening, they were so intertwined, there wasn’t space for anything between them, not even their pasts, not even their fears.
In their own way, they cared, they nurtured, they were loyal and they loved so deeply. Of course sometimes they needed a little help, a little nudge in the right direction. But that is what family is for (either by blood or by bond).
This book was about love. True, unconditional love. The kind of love you can’t forget, no matter how much time have gone by, the sacrifices that were made, the fears that should be overcome.
No matter what, this kind of love is Unforgettable .
The final installment in the Cloverleigh Farms series, for me she saved the best for last, I absolutely loved April and Tyler.
Tyler has come back home to see his sister, after his career ending disaster in major leagues. He see’s April again after their one time hook up when he graduated high school. Their chemistry is off the charts, their story was pure perfection, it was a wonderful way to end the series.
BESTILL MY BEATING HEART! April and Tyler are the most Unforgettable couple. Their second-chance romance is chocked full of emotional feels that grabbed my heart and squeezed me tight. There is just something about high school love being rekindled that sucks me in. The heart never forgets its first love; the heart remembers as if it were only yesterday, as if no time had passed at all.
Author Melanie Harlow had tears in my eyes at chapter two. She had hinted at what this story might entail in the previous Cloverleigh Farms story, Unbreakable. I had forgotten that bomb she dropped, but as soon as I read the first chapters of Unforgettable, I remembered, and I knew right then, this was going to be my favourite book of the series. And it is!
I don’t always want to read romance that is basically sweet with lots of feels and some angst but I sure needed it right now. April and Tyler’s journey has some very heart-breaking moments but such a great message and beautiful ending. Not to mention, amazing Epilogues and bonus material as well. I couldn’t have been happier with the way this story played out, even if I did envision parts of it before it happened.
I’ve totally enjoyed the whole series. Each of the sister’s has their own amazing journey to love and this family will warm your heart. Do yourself a favour and start reading today. They are all standalones but each book plays off the other a bit, so if you don’t like any spoilers, read them in order. Otherwise, just grab whichever one tickles your fancy and enjoy!
I can’t say that I have an official favorite book in this Cloverleigh Farms series. I’ve found something that I absolutely love in every male and female character; and it is no different with Unforgettable. April and Tyler’s second-chance is all encompassing, and Melanie Harlow truly hits on all cylinders – AGAIN!
Their story of forgiveness, understanding, acceptance and kindness grasps at my heart. It displays both April and Tyler in the some of their most vulnerable moments. That being said, one of my most FAVORITE April characteristics is her ability to call out anyone on their inexcusable behavior, Tyler included. She’s so strong in various ways and on different levels. She manages to persevere. And with everything she had lived with, I really took that to heart and held so much admiration for her. The charge between these two is irrefutable, and every encounter is sigh-inducing.
I’m so sad to see this series end. Melanie made this series feel like a big hug, a coming together for a family meal, and familiar place you always enjoy coming back to. It’s “hygge” exemplified. And for me, Unforgettable mimics that feeling 10-fold.
An ending like this is certainly bitter-sweet, but honestly couldn’t have looked any better.
Unforgettable is the fifth and final book of the Cloverleigh Farms series. The story of April and Tyler was so good I couldn’t put it down until I finished reading the last page. It will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions with all of the feels.
This is a book that you will not want to miss out on. Melanie Harlow hit it out of the ballpark with this one.

I need more stars !!!
I could not put this story down !!!
It will blow your mind !!
You know that part in the book where you are looking around crazy like omg. Did she ??!? I think she did ?!? Yeah I had that!!
This maybe my favorite book in the series !!
Tyler and April will leave you with all the feels!! And wanting more. So so very much more !!!
I’m not ready for this to be over.
This book was absolutely amazing. I identified with so many emotions April was feeling that at times it brought me to tears. I loved Tyler and all of his cocky but insecure attitude. I loved seeing how the story progressed and how he changed through the book. As a baseball fanatic, I greatly appreciated the attention to detail when it came to the baseball aspects of this book!
Cloverleigh farms is a series about the Sawyer sisters and I have loved each one. I doubt Melanie can write a bad story as I have read every single one and loved them all. This story is about April. April is very closed off emotionally. She doesn’t give much of herself. She had an emotional event in her early years and she’s protective. Even many of her sisters do not know about her teen pregnancy and resulted adoption. She strong but sweet, loving and kind and deserves happiness. Tyler was the baby’s daddy. He agreed to the adoption and now he returns home after being gone years for his family. He’s a good guy. And currently has a lot of turmoil and struggles. Tyler and April have this shared past that neither have been able to forget and their connection feels like fate finally stepped in to make things right. This is the kind of series I adore and enjoy reading the most. This author is spectacular- this book, nor the series should be missed.
This book was amazing. All of Melanie’s books I read in one day, because I can’t stop!! All of her books are like a tv series, you want to know what will happen next. I love how all of the men in her books have true feelings and problems. She doesn’t hold back and shows their vulnerability.
April and Tyler are perfect and you will love their story!! I don’t want this series to end! Highly recommend!!
I have absolutely loved each sister’s story and April’s is no exception. This story is about family and home and the journey to discover where your heart belongs. Life may not turn out the way we plan or expect, but you have to keep your eyes and heart open to possibilities. Baseball was Tyler’s entire identity and focus for so long, he doesn’t know how to live his life without it. His self worth was dependent on his success on the field. When that is taken away, he is so lost. April is well on her way to figuring out what she wants and at times you want to just smack Tyler and tell him to wake up and not let a good thing slip away. Even though Tyler’s emotional maturity is a bit stunted, you truly just want him to find his HEA.
I absolutely love Tyler and April’s story in Unforgettable! Melanie Harlow has given such a heartwarming storyline that involves so many feels. I don’t want to give any spoilers so if you love a good romance with sports mixed in then you will absolutely love Unforgettable, and that description isn’t doing this book justice. It’s such a good book! I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc, I loved it so much I purchased my own copy!
I loved April and Tyler’s story!
Unforgettable is the final standalone in Melanie Harlow’s Cloverleigh Farms series, following the five sisters through life and love. April always thought when she left, she wouldn’t be coming back, but time has taught her what home truly means. Her childhood best friend Tyler left and became a baseball sensation until it all went up in flames, and now he doesn’t feel like he has a home. These two have a past full of feels, and when they reconnect, sparks fly off the bat. However, pasts have a way of catching up with people, and these two are no different. Unforgettable is full of emotion, full of heart, and full of passion, and I loved every second of it. Don’t miss this unforgettable book!
