A passionate standalone romance about a billionaire husband and the estranged wife he never stopped loving… the pages of gossip rags with beautiful women in his orbit, like in his playboy bachelor days.
So I ran before my heart could break completely. But Logan’s found me… and he refuses to let me disappear again.
Logan: I only ever wanted to be the perfect husband. To prove I could succeed where my dad hadn’t and provide my wife with everything she could ever want.
I failed. The harder I worked, the more I made, the more I gave to her, the farther away Callie drifted. Until one day she was gone and my entire world went black.
But I never stopped searching for her. When I find her, we reignite the passion between us—and uncover a whisper campaign to destroy our marriage. Finding who’s responsible and making them pay will be the easy part. Convincing Callie to give our marriage a second chance… that will be hardest fight of my life.

I’ve never read this author before & this was a pleasant surprise for me. This story was a second chance tale with some suspense & hotness.
Married to a workaholic Callie escapes from her husband to try & find herself. Tracking her down & armed with Divorce papers Logan wants a second chance. It seems communication has been an issue & they both try & fix things.
Of course there has to be a bad guy/girl to add into the mix & part of the reason for their breakup as someone is help bent on seeking revenge against the guys at Bastard Finance.
I liked how our two worked through their differences which made Callie a stronger person & able to deal with issues she faced in the past. Also Logan tried to cut down his workload.
Overall I liked everything about this story & couldn’t put it down. It’s part of a series & I’m sorry to have missed the first book with Mark & Allie but luckily we’re filled in on their history.

There were times I wanted to smack Logan so bad for being a blockhead. I’m glad he finally realized why Callie did what she did. I am definitely going to be reading more of this series.

Callie loves her workaholic, billionaire husband. But he’s gone so often, she’s so lonely, and their relationship is growing further apart every day, so much so that she finally leaves him. She knows she won’t be able to stay hidden from him forever, but she just wants some time away from him and their home to think. While her marriage was falling apart, she was venting her sorrow and depression online on her anonymous blog, never imagining that blog would someday be a bone of contention between her and Logan.
Logan cannot for the life of him understand why his beloved Callie left him. After all, he gave her everything she could have possibly wanted. Right? To his narrow focus giving her all the material things his billions could buy should have made her happy. He just didn’t understand that all she really wanted was him. His time. His love. She had the last thing, but never seeing him made that love sort of not count so much. That and that she never felt like she fit into his moneyed world like she should have.
Can these two ever find their way back to each other? Perhaps, but there’s a campaign out there to destroy their marriage, the marriage that’s already at rock bottom, and Callie and Logan will have to not only work out their emotional issues, but also figure out who’s trying to destroy them, why, then stop them.
I liked that this featured an already established relationship, and the way they found their way back to each other was engaging reading. Not the steamiest read ever, but certainly full of love with two likable characters. I will be reading more of this author in the future for sure!
It was a great adventure to be part of Callie and Logan’s story. Their chemistry and connection were undeniable, the development of their relationship intriguing.
It was interesting to follow the twists, the misunderstandings, the clearing of their baggage to be able to be together.
A real page-turner!

Can’t wait to read more, new author for me and this was a very entertaining story from start to finish. I was expecting the time they were separated that he would move one with other women like I’ve read on other stories similar but I was happy to say he never stray from his love for Callie and Callie was to broken-hearted to ven think of finding someone. So diffidentlyno cheating or looking. Told in both POV reads like it might be a part of a series but I don’t know but I had absolutely no problems any where like trying to understand what’s happening or missing out on something. It all flood right.
This was a really good read it is the second book in the series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first book. I really liked both Logan and Callie they were great characters but life and not talking to one enough is getting in their way. I just loved that Logan went looking and was determined to get her back because when they were together they had a fantastic connection. A super read I really enjoyed it

This Marriage romance did everything right! Callie left Logan and filed for divorce as we find them confronting one another at the start of this romance. I loved that the author had Logan searching for Callie wanting get back. So many misunderstandings, but the bottom line was that Logan was no longer putting the effort in their marriage. When he finally realized his part of their marital breakdown he was determined to make things right.
I loved the way the author chose a strong heroine for this romance.
The well deserved HEA was the icing on the cake!
