Kent and Delaney get a second chance at love. This story will make you cry, laugh, and feel all the emotions. I loved this second chance romance and the story of this couple.
Unexpected Odds is the fifth book in Unexpected Arrivals series. This story drew me in from the start, it has lost love, second chance, family, and a group of friends, who might not have the same blood running in their veins, but it doesn’t make them any these family. Kent is the last one to fall. I’ve got to say I have liked him from the first, he’s caring, loyal, funny and just a really nice guy. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t made a few mistakes, like letting the one walk away. Kent and Delaney have such undeinable chemistry. They are so perfect for eachother at least I think so. I have really liked each book and couple in this series, and I’m kind of sad this is the last one. Although Kaylee Ryan could write about the second generation in the future.

How do you feel about second chance, secret child storylines? Sigh… then this one will touch your heart. I am madly in love with the characters. Kent is not only nummy, he also has to be one of the NICEST male characters I have ever read. Delaney makes my heart happy. She has a gentleness and sweetness to her that is so endearing. Kendrix is the icing on the cake. She wins the adorable little girl award. Hug!
This book caused moments of being over the top PO’d. The injustice part of this book makes my blood pressure STILL rise just thinking about it. Ugh without giving anything away, Delaney really got gypped and unfortunately it was by people she should have trusted the most. Zipping my lips now. You have to read this book to know what I am talking about. Yep teasing you here. Hee hee!

Unexpected Odds by Kaylee Ryan is book 5 in the Unexpected Arrivals Series. This is the story of Kent and Delaney. I have read the previous books which added to my enjoyment of this one but I did feel you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Kent and Delaney where once in love but they were pulled apart. Kent didn’t really know what had happen to Delaney but we learn she had been in a car accident where she lost her memory. Now in there present day Kent ends up meeting Delaney again and learns what had happen. But, now Kent has to make her realize again what they had and what they could have. Enjoyed this book and series.
Unexpected Odds had this captivating series finishing on an emotional and heartwarming end. Kent and Delaney’s story is one of fear, lost time and second chances. Their story is one that shows you even if the mind can’t remember, the heart will always know the truth. This was a passionate, heartfelt and at times heartbreaking love story. Two people who beat all the odds to finally get the happily ever after they deserved. A story that made me cry, smile and fall in love right along with them.
I don’t want the series to end! I have continued to love this series and each book that came along, and the last one is the cherry on top! You would think I’d start to expect the twists that Kaylee provides but this one had such a good one! Kent was so reluctant in the beginning to put labels on his relationship with Delaney, and realized it a little too late when she disappears and ignores him. Five years later, we find out that Delaney is returning to town with some big secrets, one of which being that she doesn’t remember Kent! Not taking no for an answer, Kent decides to take this second chance as fully as he can and does everything he can to show Delaney they belong together. Some crazy twists along the way regarding their past as a couple together as well as some surprises regarding Delaney’s entire life. This book was the best ending and closing to this series and this group of guys. Per usual, I loved the storyline and the writing that Kaylee provided and I can’t wait to see what comes next from her!

This series has been so special and exquisite. I knew Kent’s story would be just as exquisite as the other. But Kent and Delaney’s journey was beyond anything I could have imagined. This is one of the best stories of deep soul bonded love that I have ever read! I was obsessed with this book from the get-go! I couldn’t stop reading it!
This series has been nothing short of amazing and I am so sad to see it end, but what a beautiful ending to a spectacular group of characters!
This book had me on a roller-coaster of emotions raging from devastated to happy. Tears of sadness to tears of joy. Kent and Delaney are amazing characters. I am emotionally spent after reading this amazing story. Kendrix stole my heart completely. This is the 5th book in the Unexpected series but all can be read as standalone
I had mixed emotions as I started this book. As glad as I am to see the last of the guys find their HEA, I’m still sad to see the series end. I absolutely loved the Beckett construction crew, and their stories are among some of my favorite. I’ve read each books multiple times, and they just get better each time! Kent and Delaney fit so well with each other, it seems like they’ve been together forever.
Delaney had a great childhood, happy and surrounded by loving parents and grandparents. But her life isn’t perfect. Tragedy strikes, leaving her confused, and trying to rebuild everything. When her dad died, he left her with a legacy, that just might lead to her finding out who she is, and where she belongs again.
Kent is just like the other Beckett Construction guys. He is strong, sure of himself, and loves his family. But something is missing from his life. Something he let slip from his grasp, something he would give anything to have back.
Delaney and Kent have history, a connection that is undeniable, and perfect. So many things are working together to keep them apart, and the odds are stacked against them, right from the beginning. But a love that true, that perfect, will conquer all of those odds and come out stronger on the other side. And that is what happened with Delaney and Kent. This book is the perfect ending to this series. It’s totally swoon-worthy, and I just couldn’t get enough!
I absolutely love this series. I love all the characters and the banter. These guys love hard. The kids are hilarious. This group of friends are one big wonderful family. I am sad that this the last book in the series. But I have enjoyed every word. I feel like one of the family at this point.

Delaney and Kent’s story was beautiful! The way their past present and future all collide shows that life is often messy, but worth the obstacles!
Ms. Ryan has this remarkable ability to make you feel how each character feels. You will always find yourself so deeply immersed into the story that when you come up for air, you realize the book is ending.
As with all things in life, great things must come to an end. The Unexpected Arrivals Series is a mix of so many things. Hot alpha men, strong sexy heroines, the cutest families, and emotional rollercoasters. That being said, it is bittersweet to say goodbye to these characters. Although, I have no doubt that whatever Ms.Kaylee Ryan writes, it will be amazing.
I am going to start off by saying that I am so sad to see this series end, but I can say that Ryan did such great justice to each and every book in this series including Kent’s with Unexpected Odds. I was happy to see that Ryan included everyone from the previous books in the last take. It was well rounded and made a great ending to this series.
Unexpected Odds was more so, unexpected for me. I did not see that story-line coming, nor the plot. In better terms, I haven’t seen it done before which made for great world building by this author. This author dug deep into the emotions of the main characters which relayed into this heart warming read that tugged at my heart strings. There was an amazing amount of depth within the story-line which made the overall story feel wholesome. There was this unwavered amount of patience and determination throughout the entirety of Unexpected Odds, that touched me in the best of ways.
The main characters had a deep attraction that made for one of a kind chemistry. With both Kent and Delaney being so passionate and understanding, it made their relationship feel more real, more realistic. There was a push and pull that wasn’t forced, it was just natural. I wanna say so much about both characters, but I don’t want to give anything away. I feel like with everything I said is enough for someone to get the idea of their characters. Overall this was a great book.

Kaylee Ryan definitely knows how to keep you glued to the kindle. With so much love and hurt and feelings, she writes beautifully stories. I laughed and loved and cried.

Finally at last we have Kents story and it was every bit as amazing as I had hoped! Kent has this tough, bad boy exterior. To his friends and family he’s always the lovable uncle and a friend you can always count on to be there. While all of his friends have found love and had babies he’s always been in the background, extremely happy for his friends but never seemed interested in it for himself.
Delaney and Kent were once hook up material, on breaks from college they started up this romance and while their romance may not have had a label each break they continued to fall more in love and made it more difficult to leave. Unfortunately life rarely works how we want it to and their past is riddled with secrets, regrets but also a passion that could never be forgotten.
Kaylee wraps up this series perfectly! It’s heartbreaking, unexpected but full of love and second chances! I can’t wait for you all to fall in love with Delaney and Kent and their second chance at their epic love story!

Kaylee Ryan once again tugs you into her world of swoony worthy Beckett Construction men, with her fifth book in this series, Unexpected Odds.
After the last novel, I was gut wrenchingly torn wide open. A little battered and bruised from the emotional storyline that captured my heart. So to say I was a little hesitant going in was an understatement. Kaylee Ryan’s words have a way of penetrating your walls, seeping deep within your heart, Unexpected Odds was equally as good.
Ryan’s words are always addictive no matter the package they come in. Kent and Delaney’s story was yet another read that had me devouring the pages. Kent’s second chance love story was one that I absolutely loved and didn’t know I even needed. Being the last one of the Beckett Construction men to settle down, we haven’t really seen his swoony side until he gets in front of Delany. They have lost so much time together. Both hurt and broken from past hurts, these two come together in one emotional journey that will leave you breathless.
I don’t know how Ryan does it. With each new book she delivers the out does the last. That is really saying something with this series. Each book was absolutely exceptional building on the last and creating one of the best romance series to date. You must check this one out along with all the Beckett Construction men. FYI… I’d read them all in order.
Unexpected Odds is book five in the series. I really loved it. It was such a great read. Kent was sweet, caring and just swoony. Delaney was a sweet and strong woman. Kent and Delaney were perfect together. Their love was beautiful! Definitely recommend this series!
The Unexpected Arrivals series is one of my ALL-TIME favorite series! I was so excited to read Kent’s story and I was not disappointed! WOW! I feel like we’ve been waiting for Kent to get his HEA FOREVER! Kent and Delaney’s story was just epic! I wasn’t sure how his story would go, and I was so pleasantly surprised by how perfect it was! FIVE HUGE STARS!!
I am an absolute huge fan of Kaylee Ryan’s books. I love her writing, her storylines, her heroines, her hero’s and most definitely her HEA’s!!!! Any time that I am in a book funk, I know that I can read ANY of her books to bring me right out of it. I cannot think of any part of any of her books that I dislike or would even change. To me, they are all romance perfection.
Kent and Delaney’s story was nothing short of amazing! You give me a hero with a huge heart, that is all super alpha and that will fight for the woman that he wants, no matter the obstacles, you can sign me up. Kent was all of those things and as much as I hated to see this series come to an end, Kent and Delaney’s story was like the cherry on top! Their story had amazing chemistry, twists and turns and an amazing second chance at love that pulled at my heartstrings the entire story. I have loved all of the men of Beckett Construction and the women that stole their hearts. This series will always hold a special place in my heart and I will certainly revisit their stories often. I highly recommend this book! There aren’t enough words to express how amazing this story truly is. You will have to grab a copy for yourself to find out!!!!!

I cannot praise this series enough and am sad that this is the final book. I have loved every journey with each of these guys and as every story releases, I have fallen more in love with each of them. Kaylee Ryan has a remarkable ability to make me feel how each character is feeling and I always find myself deeply immersed into each and every story.
Unexpected Odds is a beautiful second chance romance. Kent and Delaney’s story is an emotional, second chance that as the title suggests, defies the unexpected odds. The unwavering love and support Kent had for Delaney was special and heartwarming. The two of them had so much chemistry that only continued to grow throughout the story. They haven’t had an easy road and there has been many lost years, but despite the odds they found each other again. They get the second chance they both deserve.
As sad as I am to see this series end, I am very much looking forward to seeing Kaylee Ryan has in store next.
