Unputdownable!!! I am so sad to see the end of this series but it ended perfectly. Kent is just as amazing as the rest of the Beckett construction crew. He is sweet, caring, sexy, and all protective alpha. He has also been kicking himself for letting “the one” get away years ago. Delaney is absolutely perfect for him and their connection and chemistry is unmistakable. Kaylee Ryan has such a fantastic way of pulling the reader into the characters thoughts, feeling, and story. You can really feel all they go through and root for their HEA. I felt horrible for everything Delaney went through, not to mention little Kendrix. They all got the perfect HEA though, even though I do not want this series to end, AT ALL! I want more from this crew/family.
I have received this book as an ARC. Kaylee does it again! This book is beyond amazing and gives you all of the feels. This is the last book of the series, and I feel she did a good job ending it, seeing how clearly happy all of them were with their lives. In this book the female lead Delaney is such a sweet and caring person. Kent, oh my gosh my new book boy friend. Kent is so caring, genuine, and understanding. The love that they have together is such a beautiful thing to read. In a way this is a second chance love book, I will end my review by saying this is an amazing book that will give you the feels.
What a brilliant ending to an amazing series!
I absolutely loved this book, I’ve loved every single book in this series.
This series has been one of those that really get your heart pumping because they have that heart warming feel about them but also so have some serious OMG moments. But it’s real you know? Like it reminds you that love like that is real but it’s not always easy with sunshine and rainbows.
Kent and Delaney like all the other couples have that connection between them that has you rooting for them.
I loved Kent as much as all the others, i still can’t decide who my favourite is, they all feel like my favourites when i read them at the time.
I seriously love these books! I think everyone needs to give these a go.
This book series I have to say is one of the best series that I’ve ever read. I absolutely love this authors work and I always look forward to reading her books. This is book #5 in the Unexpected arrivals series and it is awesome.

Kent is such a good, kind loving person with a beautiful heart inside of him. He is very sexy alpha male and he seems to be the one of the group that hasn’t settled down, but knows now that the time is right for him. He loves all his family and he really loves his nieces and nephews.
Delaney and Kent have lost so much time together, but is the time right now for these two?
Delaney is one strong lady who also has such a caring and loving side to her.
Delaney has got left her grandparents house and is renovating it, she hasn’t had things easy in the past and has had her struggles to. Delaney actually was in an accident and can’t remember who anyone is, but she has learnt to adjust to repeating herself to everyone of her situation.
These two get something that is totally unexpected.

The love between these two is so strong they have such a strong connection and there chemistry is sizzling too. These two souls are totally meant to be. Soulmates. I really felt for these two characters so much and everything that they went through and are going through. This author knows how to catch the readers attention and mind and hooks them in so much that they feel everything along with the characters.
This book had my emotions all over the place and up and down, you feel the love the heartbreak and the hope and everything the characters feel. This book is a real second chance, family orientated romance that will break your heart and have you loving these two just as much.
This author writes so brilliantly that you are desperate to read all her work and this book and series is completely out of this world, fantastic. I loved it and I cant recommend this book series enough because it’s fabulous and you won’t be able to put it down.

I don’t want this series to end! I have loved every journey with each of these guys and as every story releases, I fall more in love with each of them. The only thing I can hope for now with all these kids is that eventually we will get to see them all again and Kaylee will do a next-generation series for the Beckett Construction Family.
Kent has always been the mysterious one of the group. The best uncle to all of the kids and just a big teddy bear. And we finally find out who he’s been lovesick over.
There are so many surprises with this book. Delaney is the mysterious woman who Kent thought was out of reach and now with her back in his life, the unexpected keeps hitting them both time and time again. I loved Delaney and I loved the magnetism between her and Kent from the start. My heart broke for both of them but their love fought through all the things that kept being thrown at them. It was such a fantastic story.
Don’t worry, if you haven’t read the other books in the series because each of the books can be read as standalone’s but if you haven’t read the other books – you absolutely need to go back and read all the stories because they are all heartbreaking beautiful, each and every one of them.
Kaylee is a one-click, stay up all-night to finish a book author and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!
I have been waiting for Kent’s story since the beginning and boy does this not disappoint. Unexpected Odds had me swooning and crying all at the same time. Kent and Delaney’s story is an emotional, beautiful second chance that defies the unexpected odds.
Kent has always been the one out of the group that didn’t have another woman in the picture, at least not that we knew off. Yet, he had is best friends, their wives and all the children around him. He was surrounded by family and love regardless. Delaney was unexpected for me, I loved her so much. I felt for her and I was cheering her on when she stood up for herself. The support and love Kent had for her was beautiful. These two had so much chemistry that only continued to grow throughout the story. The chemistry they have is so deep, their hearts know they are meant to be.
They haven’t had an easy road and there has been so many lost years, but they found each other again. They get the second chance they both deserve more than anything.
I loved how easily the entire group accepted Delaney and her daughter, Kendrix, into their circle. They men were there, the women were there and the kids all accepted Kendrix into their little group. I am sad this is the final book in the series because I am going to miss all of these characters we have gotten to know over the years.
Unexpected Odds and the rest of the series is a MUST READ!
As much as I hate to see the series end Kent’s story needed to be told. Filled with regrets, miscommunication, and time lost that can never be replaced, Kent and Delaney’s story was another masterpiece from Kaylee Ryan. With layers and layers of the past colliding with the future Kent and Delaney have huge mountains to overcome. When all of lies and deceptions are revealed the story takes a turn into one that is filled with hope and happiness. In true “Unexpected” fashion once again I was wiping tears from my cheeks and at the same time a sense of peace was felt. This series will be one I will re-read time and time again. 5 Stars are not enough.
I fell in love with Kaylee Ryan’s writing style with Unexpected Reality, and I’ve loved each and every addition to this series. Much like many other readers I’ve been eagerly awaiting Kent’s second chance romance and it didn’t disappoint.
Kent is a tattoo covered alpha with a heart of gold. Kenton craves the love, commitment and contentment his best friends have found with their other halves. He’s kind, caring and loving, and your heart just melts when you envision his interactions with his surrogate nieces and nephews. A very protective and charming hero, who is patient yet determined to fight for what he wants.
Delaney is his perfect match, strong and resilient, yet sweet. The chemistry this pair shares is undeniable despite the time they spent apart.
As with the previous titles in this series Unexpected Odds has strong themes of family and friendship and although a heartwarming read, has a few surprises and twists along the way to finding a happy ever after.
As sad as I am to see the end of this series, I look forward to seeing what Ms Ryan has in store for us next and possibly at some point in the future we may get the next generation of Unexpected Arrivals.

It left me needing tissues more than once and had so much emotion I didn’t want to put it down.

Let me start by saying just how much I have enjoyed the Unexpected Arrivals series. From Ridge and Kennedy and Tyler and Reagan (my faves) and Mark and Dawn and Seth and Mara and Amelia (because she was so much apart of their story) and finally Kent and Delaney. These sexy tattooed alpha men have found a way into my heart much like they did with their wives. It all started with an unexpected arrival and ended with an incredible family anyone would give anything to have.
Now for Kent and Delaney. My heart broke for them, and for Kendrix and all the time that was stolen from them. I went through so many emotions reading this book. There was sadness and anger but don’t worry all that was replaced in the end with an incredible HEA. I don’t know what I was expecting from Kent but there is a part in the book where Reagan said he was quiet and empty and holding back that really resonated with me. I can see that know looking back through they other books. I mean he was there for his friends but he always was holding back and waiting, waiting for Laney. He really did come alive when she cane back into his life.
This is a beautiful second chance secret baby romance. It the the end of an amazing series with incredible characters you can’t help but love. I am so sad it’s the end for the Beckett Construction crew but I’m crossing my fingers for a second gen (that would be AMAZING)
Sheesh this review is hard to leave without the spoilers so I’m going to leave it at that. If you haven’t read any of the books in the series I don’t know what you are waiting for? If you love sexy tattooed alpha men who love their woman and children then you don’t need to look any farther than Ridge, Tyler, Mark, Seth and Kent and the woman aren’t bad either.

This might be my favorite book in this series. It’s really hard to say though because they have all been fantastic.
I knew Kent’s story had to be something big, but this was not at all what I expected. From the teases that we got about Delaney I am glad her character developed as she did. These two fit together like two pieces of a puzzle that were always meant to be together. I don’t want to say much more because I don’t want to add spoilers. Just know that this is the perfect ending to the Unexpected series!
