Unexpected Love (A Moment In Time Novel)

I fell in love with this power couple, Lucian & Addilyn’s and their story. I loved how they came together over dating app. What started off as a friendship of mystery turned into a perfect into a perfect HEA. Both Lucian and Addilyn had both been hurt by previous spouses. Neither of them were looking for a relationship. Upon them meeting there were instant sparks. This was such a sweet easy read and hard to put down.

I’m looking forward to reading Wynter and Kaysen’s story, Complicated Love. Whatever ghosts haunt their pasts, neither is ready to let the walls come tumbling down to let the other in. Can’t wait to see if these two mismatched people can find their own HEA.

This was one of those books you start to read and can’t put down. Addilyn moved to start over after her lie of a Marriage was over. New state new job all was good she wanted to rediscover herself no relationships. So when she was pitching a idea for a new account for her company that brought her to now meeting the mystery man by the name Lucian. They had alot in common and boy did the sparks fly. This story has many twist and turns and these two are so perfect for each other but will their past come to haunt them, are they strong enough to weather the storm that hits them. Will this Unexpected Love fine their Happy Ever After, the one they were not looking for.

This book is sweet, sexy and has a surprises that pop up at certain times. I absolutely LOVED this book! My heart broke when the characters did, I gasped at all the moments they did and found myself swooning when Lucian did something sweet for Addilyn. They move semi fast in this book due to the fact they’ve been talking thru an dating app. I loved the moment after they met and realized who each other was. It was perfection! Both characters have been burned by marriage and very hesitant to jump into a relationship. They have a strong connection and push each other to go further. Addilyn is very head strong, determined and sneaky. She loves with her whole heart and has compassion. She also knows when to walk away. Her family has hurt her but thankfully she had one person on her side. Lucian was same and was dealing with a crazy drugged out ex. She was insane. His son added so much to this story. He was so adorable and found myself laughing when he was so mad about his Christmas gift lol. You will fall madly in love with story and find yourself feeling everything these characters go thru. I’m also wanting more about Kaysen and Wynter.. these two intrigue me so much!

If I could give this story more than five stars I would. I fell hook, line and sinker for this couple. Addilyn is starting fresh off the divorce of her marriage that she thought would be forever but he didn’t . She is strong and amazing as she picks up her life and starts fresh. One of those starts is with a dating site.
Imagine when her job connects her with the mystery man that she was communicating with.
Said man is Lucian. He is all that and a bag of chips. These two have baggage but the sparks and the connection in amazing. They have their road to a HEA but I was never more happy for these characters. I became invested in their story and loved the writing style! Complete recommend this book to anyone.

I really liked how Addilyn and Lucian “met.” It was definitely a meet-cute. They told each other everything except ways to identify each other…but then the inevitable happened. I think the quickness of their relationship was fitting, considering the level of detail they shared at “meeting,” even if they were from different walks of life. They had the shared experience of being burned in the past and longed for a settled future. The chance of happiness crashing down on them left me on the edge of my seat. Their passion and chemistry was off the charts.

Addilyn DeRoss is ready to start over after she got her ex-husband cheating on her. After it taking a year to get divorced she has spent the last 2 years in NYC rebuilding her life with help from her bestie Wynter.

Lucian Black is a single dad to son Remmy and he is working hard at retaining full custody of his son from his ex-wife Crystal. Lucian is the owner of Black Media and has been testing out a dating app lately and has become friends with a woman named Aurora Rose.

When Lucian and Addy meet sparks fly but they have already unknowingly met before until Lucian figures it out. Unfortunately Lucian is in the fight of his life trying to win custody of Remmy and is Addy ready for the battle that lies ahead? Can Lucian really have it all?

This was a great book about finding love when you least expect it and ending up with so much more.

I thought Addy was such a great character and I was so mad at everything that had happened with her ex Braden and everything that was revealed with him. He is another step from crazy and I was blown away by everything he did and how he wanted Addy to be ok with it all. I was so happy that Addy was able to start her life over and put herself first.

Lucian was much more complicated as he had his business life together but his personal life was in shambles due to his custody battle with Crystal over Remmy. It is apparent that Crystal is only using Remmy to get back to Lucian and my heart more than broke for the little boy. As a single mom I can relate to having a child not go with the other parent and it is so heartbreaking to deal with. I crossed my fingers that Lucian was able to get the info he needed but I was not expecting a certain twist.

I liked the relationship between Addy and Lucian and hot it was sizzling but at the same time there was a level of friendship that transcended everything and made things seem like everything just fell into place between the two of them.

There were so many great twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting that pushes the book into different directions and really makes you think about certain things and how you would handle everything being thrown at Addy and Lucian.

The end ended how it should have and I loved the little twist Addy gave it all!!

I really liked this story. I thought it was cute how they met on an app and got to know each other first before they met in person. The attraction in person was pretty instant and feelings developed quickly but it worked for this couple. I’m looking forward to the next book regarding Lucian and Addilyn’s best friends. Good read!

Loved Lucian and Addilyn story. Lucian is a swoon worthy! Lucian and Addilyn both come from broken relationships and the heartbreak tests their relationship in ways that have you sitting on the edge of your seat holding your breath to see what happens next. Addilyn would do anything for Lucian and she proves it time and time again. Lucian is every bit alpha and gets what he wants and will stop at nothing to protect what is his.

I absolutely LOVED this book and cannot wait for the next book in this series!

This was my first time reading this author but I can honestly say that it won’t be the last. Once I started reading this book I couldn’t stop. I was hooked. I loved the story and how it developed. It had everything I wanted in a story. Very enjoyable characters and the storyline was fantastic. I highly recommend. I’m looking forward to reading more.

As Addilyn works she was helping with an app for dating and found a guy that she had a great conversation and she was happy. The guy was Lucian Black and he had an ex wife who was putting him through a rough life and a son named Remmy, but he needed a women and he was an The app too but Addilyn had no clue about who he was. Things started to click and he told her. She didn’t understand but they were great together and were happy. Things went out of control when issues and situations out of eithers hands were started. Will they stick together or will Addilyn walk because of hunted memories from the past?
