I am loving the Unexpected Arrivals series by Kaylee Ryan so much. In Unexpected Fall, we get Mark and Dawn’s story. And let me tell you, get ready for an emotional story with so many feels. Dawn and Mark have been circling around each other for quite some time now. Are they ready for more? But what happens when life turns everything upside down and changes everything for them in unexpected ways?
Mark stole my heart. He was so freaking caring and protective. He is ready to step in and be everything Dawn needs. Dawn was sweet and kind, but with so many changes in her life, could she continue to let Mark in? An emotional and at times heartbreaking story. I loved the characters so much and the love and friendships in this story (and series) are everything.

Loving that Kaylee is continuing this series! Can’t get enough of these guys! Dawn and Mark have moved from becoming friends through the relationship of their respective friends to starting something more than friends with each other. This book starts with Dawn realizing that she has developed feelings for Mark more than a friend and plans to define the relationship with him. Unbeknownst to Dawn, Mark feels the same way, but is unsure how to approach the topic between them. When Dawn’s life is turned upside down the night they are supposed to talk, that conversation never happens but the thought of it lingers. As Dawn continues to deal with the continued punches that life keeps throwing at her, Mark finds that the best way to prove himself and his feelings to her are to be there for her and help her heal from each punch. But when things get to become too much for Dawn, she ultimately pushes Mark away because she’s unsure if he’s there for her out of duty or because he really wants to be. After Mark displays his feelings and love for Dawn the best way he can, we thankfully get a HEA for this couple and it’s well-deserved. Throughout this storyline, we also got some vibes from Amelia that makes me think (and hope) that the next story might involve her and I am so here for it! Continue to love Kaylee’s stories and her enjoyable reads!

Unexpected Fall is such an heartbreaking story. I loved Mark and Dawn!! I love how this group of friends/family support one another, know matter what it might be. The kids will make you smile. And Mark is the greatest guy!!!! He was Dawn’s rock, her protector, her strength when needed. You will love him too. Dawn is one amazing women! I’m loving this series so much.
Unexpected Fall is nook 3 in the Unexpected Arrival Series which tells the story of Mark and Dawn, and what a story it is. Mark and Dawn are seeing each other unofficially and before they can take their relationship further, hurdles are placed in the way which would make any other relationship crack under the strain but not Mark and Dawn.
Mark is quite possibly one of the best characters I have ever read about. He is sweet, smart, loving, sexy and kind. At times, he can be pushy but not in a domineering way. The way he loves Dawn is so all consuming and passionate that you definitely need to look for your own Mark! In the face of trouble, challenges and decisions he is the type of guy you want in your corner (to be honest, all of the guys in the Unexpected Arrival series are pretty amazing!) This is in comparison to Dawn who is strong, sweet, introverted and barely clinging on due to tragedies and issues that seem to be cropping up in her life. She has doubts when she shouldn’t have them, but she has such amazing strength of character that you are rooting for her all of the way when it comes to her and Mark.
This is an amazing book and it literally has moments that made me shed a few tears (and that’s quite hard to do). It flows and weaves a remarkable story between two strong characters who not only have an amazing relationship between themselves, but also the friends that they call family. I haven’t read the previous two books in this series, but if it is anything like this one, I will be going back and giving them a try. A beautiful story that I can’t recommend enough. If you like some angst with your HEA with beautifully written characters, then this one is for you.

The men in this series just keep getting better. You think it’s impossible that you will love the next one more but then you do (or just as much as the other). This book was full of some hard times for Dawn.
This review is hard to write because I truly don’t want to spoil any of the story. I will give out a warning though. Make sure you have tissues handy because you will need them within the first few chapters and that will continue for the rest of the story. This book is an emotional one, but it is also truly beautiful.
If you’ve read Unexpected Reality and Unexpected Fight then you are familiar with Mark and Dawn, if you haven’t you can still enjoy this story without any issues, just won’t have a lot of the background history.
Mark and Dawn started out as friends, just hanging out as a group, but as time went on they started to spend one on one time together and slowly transitioned into a relationship. They just work together. Things are effortless between them. They are perfect for each other.
Life is unexpected. Things can change in an instant, it may not be good, it may be heartbreaking, it can change your plans forever.
Mark is hands down on my favorite book boyfriends from Kaylee. He stepped up so much when it came to being there for Dawn. He was her support. He was there to catch her when she fell. He was sweet, caring, patient and you can’t help but swoon over him.
I loved every single moment of this book, even though I was ugly crying through a good chunk of it. Kaylee’s writing is beautiful and this story will capture your heart. It is a MUST READ and one of my favorite books of 2019!
Dawn and Mark’s journey was nothing short of spectacular. This story is emotional, heartbreaking, passionate, and full of love.
These two have amazing chemistry! When Dawn needs a rock, Mark doesn’t hesitate. I loved every second of this couple’s story. It was absolutely beautiful! An absolute MUST READ!! Grab a tissue!
This story is definitely my favourite book from the series.
There’s so much more to it, from the characters that we know about them from the previous books , to their past, heartbreaking moments and angsty situation that will pull at your heart in more ways than one.
The friendship is always a big part of any story and I hope some of the other characters will have their story as well.
OMG!! This book was gut wrenching emotional read!! I will no way be able to write this review to fully express how wonderful this book was. I love these characters that are a part of this series. They are sweet, alpha, understanding & completely capable of doing what they must to get the girl. Dawn is strong, capable, but is in need of a guy to help her. She finds that in Mark & so much more. Mark is understanding, loyal & his actions will make you swoon. I am so in love with his fiercely loyal personality & wishing I had one of my own. Be sure to have tissues & enjoy the ride!!

As I sit here and think more and more on Mark and Dawn’s unexpected Fall, the more my heart rapidly beats, the more I fall in love with each and every word that this talented author wrote. Ryan took their world and turned it into this amazingly- profound, yet remarkable love story that beats all other love stories. Unexpected Love, gahhhh honest to goodness took me through every emotion known to mankind. I really don’t think I can express enough how profound this one is. I am literally struck speechless. Ryan hit so close to home with Mark and Dawn’s story, so maybe that’s why it is hitting me so hard, I would prefer her endings to mine though. So here I sit with literal tears pouring down my face.
Ya know’s funny, I tell my 9 year old son almost daily how books can change your life, how reading can make you empathetic and kind, how one book can make you see this crazy world in a totally different light. Most importantly, I tell him that he can live more than one life in more than one place, and Unexpected Fall just proved me right, and sometimes I forget that. I am saying right here, right now with all these emotions rolling through me, that Unexpected Fall showed me what I sometimes forget. Kaylee Ryan is why I read, and she is why I continuously come back to her one of a kind worlds, BECAUSE even though her worlds are fiction, they truly remind me that I am living.
Mark and Dawn, I just literally have no words. There is no pair, more well equipped for each other than them. Both devoted, and dedicated, with so much kindness. Ryan gave them the most well developed story-line, than I think I could have ever imagined. The support in this story was extraordinary, truly profound. I have never wanted two people together as bad as I wanted them glued together. They were made for each other. Their chemistry was out of this world both in the bedroom and out. #couplegoals I could seriously rave on and one about this. If it is not apparent yet, this is by far my favorite book this author has ever wrote, and even better – ONE OF MY TOP READS OF 2019. Okay, you’re not going to get anything else out of me because if I keep going I will totally be a kill-joy and that is not who I am. I do have one suggestion though, BRING THE TISSUES!

Unexpected Fall by Kaylee Ryan is book Three in the Unexpected Arrivals Series. This is the story of Marcus Adams and Dawn Miller. I have read (and Loved) the other books which these characters to mix in previous books along with this book, so it does add to your enjoyment if you too read those. But with that said you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Marcus and Dawn are friends which turn into lovers. Marcus is a very good example of a book boyfriend with some alpha male characteristics. I have really enjoyed this series and hope to read more from this author.
Wow!! Just Wow! All the heartache and love in this story – it’s amazing! Mark and Dawn are amazing! I have been in love with Mark for a while and I just love him SO MUCH MORE now! The way he is with Dawn is amazing! No matter what life threw at her he was there. *dreamy sigh*

Get your tissues, you are going to need lots! This installment of the Unexpected Arrivals is just heart wrenching and happy all rolled in-between the covers. Poor Dawn cannot catch a break, she is hit with one tragedy after another. She doesn’t even know which way is up after a while, but Mark is there to help her find her way. He is her rock and her sounding board, he takes everything that she throws at him, even when she sends him away.
Already my favorite series, this book just shot up to the top! Cannot wait to see what happens to the rest of the gang.

Dawn and Mark have such a beautiful story, but with that beauty comes A LOT of heartbreak. Kaylee Ryan had me going through all the emotions right back to that puddle of swoony love with these two! Their emotional journey leads to one of the most beautiful HEAs I have ever read.
Kaylee Ryan delivers a heartfelt message regarding family in this story. With Unexpected Fall, Kaylee has established an unbreakable bond between friends, family and lovers. It’s an absolutely moving and emotional story that is sure to resonate with readers long after they’ve read the last few pages. This is book 3 in the series but it can easily stand alone, however I suggest you read the whole series because the other characters in other stories are very prominently involved in this story.
This is Dawn and Mark’s book and they are in a friends with benefits relationship. However Dawn wants more but she is a bit cowardly about having that TALK with Mark and when her life changes drastically, he is there for her but she is a mess so they don’t have the talk for awhile.
Dawn’s life changes around the holidays. It starts around Thanksgiving and continues into the new year, so you could say this is a holiday romance. Mark and all her friends are there for her and he is an amazing guy for her.
Despite some of the things that happen to Dawn I loved this story and it was very swoony and romantic and beautiful. Its probably my favorite in this series and I cannot wait for more.
This fabulously written book will make you laugh, cry, get a little frustrated, break your heart then put it back together again. Mark and Dawn have chemistry that is off the charts! Dawn is dealt some major stuff that ripped my heart out but Mark is right there for her, no matter what. He is sweet, sexy and super protective of ” his woman “. She is smart, beautiful and absolutely perfect for him. Another home run Kaylee Ryan!!! A definite must read.

When i realised it was about Dawn and Mark i was so excited! I love how you kinda get the build up for the next story while reading the current one.
I absolutely loved Mark, he was the sweetest. The way he was literally Dawn’s rock, he holds her up when she thinks she can’t stand, keeps her going when she just wants to give up. He’s just one amazing man and you can’t help but absolutely fall in love with him.
Dawn, gah give the girl a medal. She puts up with so much in such a small amount of time not many people can deal with that. I’m sure if she didn’t have Mark’s unwavering support she wouldn’t have been so strong everytime.
I love their whole family dynamic they have, their all there to lend a hand and pick someone up when their down.
This series needs to be read by everyone I’m sure.
I can’t wait for the next one!
When life deals Dawn with Unexpected turns in her life and tragedy can she stand on her own two feet. Mark has totally let his guard down and Dawn entered his life. He sees his forever with her but will he stand by her side when a curveball is thrown her way. These two have obstacles to overcome and it will test what they feel for each other. Will Love win in the end. Everyone deserves a Happy Ever After.

Dawn’s life is changed with 2 phone calls. They throw her entire life into question. Mark just wants to protect her, but will she let him?
These two are amazing. Dawn’s strong and far to independent for her own good. Shes so relatable and her pain is really palpable. You all of it with her. And every curve ball thrown at her she gets up and keeps going, her strength is amazing. Mark is just trying to help her through all the emotions shes going through and wants to tell her how he feels about her but both are to stubborn to admit it. No matter what though Mark is theres to support her and help her on her way. I love this book and the series is just amazing! Special shout out to Kent hes just adorable. Highly recommend
Love this series. These guys love hard. This book hit me in all my feels. I laughed, cried and laughed some more. I can’t wait to get more of these guys and their amazingly awesome woman.
