Life is full of ups and downs. Events that shape who you are, even those that are filled with heartbreak and tragedy. What do you do when actions bring devastation? How do you pick up the pieces and keep moving forward? One breath. One second. One minute. One hour. One day at a time, you learn to live with your unexpected fall.
I have wanted Dawn and Mark’s book since reading the first in this series and it did not disappoint! It was a highly emotional journey though (I think I went through a whole box of tissues). Dawn has many devastating blows that she must find a way to overcome. And she has to learn to trust what she has with Mark and the crew is solid. I think this was the most gripping and devastating in this series so far, but don’t let that put you off because it is all worth it in the end.
I’m a huge fan of this series and Ridge and Kendall’s book Unexpected Reality is one of my all time favourite books. So when I knew Ms Ryan was going to give us all the guys I was ecstatic. Tyler and Reagan made tear up and during my reread before this book I didn’t think it could get any better. Oh boy how wrong was I. Even tho we knew these two Mark and Dawn, we didn’t know them completely. From the first page to the last I was hooked. I can’t tell you how many Kleenex I used! The hits kept coming for these two and through it all Mark stands steadfast and strong. Dawn is a truly beautiful person and picks herself after life keeps throwing her curveballs. I didn’t want this book to end. I could have kept reading for ever. Now I want to know who Seth is falling for. Hmm also who’ll be Kent’s luckylady. I cannot wait to find out. Awesome story.
This series just keeps getting better with each new book! These steamy bachelors fall for family, relationships and parenthood with absolutely no hesitation! Their stories are both HOT and swoony at the same time. I just can’t get enough of the Beckett Construction Crew!!!!!
Mark and Dawn just sort of fit. They just started hanging out together right from their first meeting, and just drifted together. There was no talking about it, no discussing it. It just was. And now Dawn is starting to have feelings that she isn’t sure are returned. How can she know what he’s feeling? But then her life sort of goes off the rails, and everything that she counted on isn’t there anymore. But Mark is. Shouldn’t that count for something?
This book was …..everything. I absolutely adore Mark. He is everything a man should be, and so much more! I was absolutely swooning throughout this whole book. He and Dawn are perfect together, even when everything is so up in the air. His unwavering support was enough to bring tears to my eyes and warm feelings to my heart! It was absolutely beautiful!
