This is the second book in the Unexpected series. This book can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading them in order since they center around the Safety Zone Security team. You meet Trevor in book one because he’s Alex’s friend and co-worker. Grab the tissues because this book will hit you in the feels over and over again. It’s well written, steamy emotional read. Trevor doesn’t do relationships which how he’s made it to 39 years old and is still single. Davina finally hunts down Trevor to hand of the son he didn’t know about. Davina’s best friend Carol spent a weekend with Trevor and ended up pregnant with their son Devon. Carol decided not to tell Trevor about the baby. Carol died giving birth and the last Wish was for Davina to take Devon to his daddy. She wants Davina and Trevor to raise Devon, but Davina is grieving and she blames Trevor for Clare’s death and has serious trust issues. Trevor makes some mistakes too but you expect that from someone who has never had a serious relationship. I really love how the author pulls you into the story. I didn’t want to put this book down.
I am definitely loving this series by Stacy Eaton. Stacy has a way of drawing you into her stories where you feel like you are actually there experiencing the drama these characters are going through. This is the story of Trevor and Davina. Trevor travels a lot for work and does not lead women on – he lets them know up front that this is a one-time thing as he doesn’t want anyone “waiting” for him to come back from overseas. Davina is the best friend of Carol – a woman who Trevor had a few dates with as well as a wonderful weekend. Davina has temporary custody of Carol and Trevor’s son Devon. Davina doesn’t want to like Trevor and wants to blame him for her best friend dying. Will Davina let Trevor’s past dictate how his future will be without even talking about it? This story is full of drama, suspense, judgement, passion, chemistry, sadness and understanding. I cannot wait to read more in this series. Trevor is a bachelor who travels a lot and a ladies man. He never thought that he would have a family but all of that changed when Davina brings him a bundle of joy and claims that he is the father. Trevor has no idea of what to do and getting assistance from Davina starts him along a journey that will change the course of his life. Is the family he claimed he will never have been handed to him by fate? This story will touch your heart and have you in Trevor and Davina’s corner to cheering them on to a happily ever after!

Love secret baby romances. good read! Trevor is a player and did not want a serious relationship and he made that clear to anyone he hooked up with. Davina is about to change his world!

I skipped over the small steamy part.
Trevor being a confirmed bachelor was in for a surprise. When Davina shows up at his office he doesn’t know what to expect, but boy was he shocked. The big bad alpha is a daddy and has no clue what to do. While he is on a mission overseas, something happens and scares him to death. HEA. Great story!
Trevor is thinking about his future when a storm comes crashing into his life in the form of a newborn son. You see Davina has been caring for the baby after her best friend passed away during childbirth and she knows nothing about the man she is about to had the baby over to. Trevor is at a loss as to what do about the bombshell dropped in his lap. He has. I clue how to be a father but if he can convince Davina to stick around he might have a good shot at parenthood and maybe happy ever after.
Such a great read, could not put it down.
I read this book voluntarily for an honest review.
What do you do when a woman comes into your office claiming to be holding her dead best friends baby claiming that you are the Dad? Trevor a lifetime military man has to make a decision quickly and also can he ask the best friend to help. A humorous story of learning to live with your carefree actions
I loved everything about this book! Even the age of Trevor, 39, was the age of the childless man I met and married! The challenges of unexpected wading into single parenthood, of dealing with a woman who hates you for causing her best friend’s death, of hiring a nanny to lovingly care for your baby while you go on an important mission overseas, of being blindsided by news of your infant’s emergency surgery when you are out of reach! It was all delicious reading and I enjoyed every moment and loved all the characters! Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
This story is about unexpected happenings. Trevor likes being single and having his mini flings with women. He may not commit but he never lies to women either. They know what he will give them.
Davina is trying to deal with the death of her bff and raising her child. She has a very low opinion of the baby daddy.
Things are not what they appear.
This story flows well. Trevor is a stand up guy. He feels like his life is right where he wants it. He may be commitment why, but he steps up when needed.
Davina is fiercely protective of her “nephew” .Davina can be very high handed in her opinion of Trevor even when she sees a different side of him.
Trevor does a complete 180 once he finds out he has a son.
I love how Carol continues to be in the book and part of their relationship.
I enjoyed this boo
Trevor, at forty, finally has to grow up very reluctantly when his kid, Devon is dropped off to him b Davina in a thunderstorm. He’s a man child, traveling, tapping a girl for a weekend and then moving on. That was his baby mama, Carol, a weekend fling and she died in childbirth. Her BF Davina delivers Devon to Trevor, who isn’t happy and stereotypical in his reactions. He asks Davina to help and then hooks up with her.
Borrowed on KU.
This book was a wonderful read that had me glued to my kindle from the very beginning with the well written storyline and characters that were well defined! I was so engaged with Devina and Trevor as their journey unfolded that I ended up reading this book in one sitting!
Very well written and highly recommended. Heartbreaking, surprising, emotional, suspenseful, intriguing and much more. Once you start reading you won’t be able to put it down. Read the blurb. He gets surprised with a baby by the friend of the woman who died giving birth. It is his. He gets help from her. I received a review copy from Book Lovers Reviewers Club and voluntarily review it.
Trevor Vaughn’s work commitments do not allow him to indulge in long-term relationships. Thus, when Davina arrives at his office with a new-born baby claiming that it is his, he is totally floored. Davina is just the messenger, an angry one at that, but she cannot ignore the man who has no idea that he is a father, nor that he is completely unprepared for the experience. This novel is heartwarming and touching as the warrior finds his way through the murky waters of fatherhood, whilst Davina discovers hidden depths she didn’t know she had. Although this book is part of a series and characters from the previous story appear in this one too, it is nevertheless a standalone and comes to a happy and successful conclusion. I received a copy of this novel as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I really enjoyed “Unexpected Arrivals” by Stacy Eaton. This is the second book I’ve read by this author – having received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. This series has been a fun and entertaining read. It’s somewhat predictable from a storyline perspective – but the journey along the way is worth it. I can’t wait to continue with this series and see what comes next. If you are looking for a fun escape over the weekend – this is a great book to add to your book collection.
Happy Reading…enjoy!
Trevor has just learned his sin father. Davina, Carol’s best friend, has come to his office to bring him the baby and the news that Carol died at childbirth. How can he take care of Devon by himself? Will Davina help him? The more Trevor and Davina get to know each other the more they like each other. But is it enough to form a family together? A sweet love story
This book will tug on your heartstrings as the engaging storyline unfolds. I liked Trevor and Davina. Sure, Trevor starts out as a playboy but at heart he was a good guy and you had to feel for the position he found himself in. Together they made a wonderful couple that inspires lots of feels. I’m electing to post a forthright review.

Another really good book, I’m on a roll.
This was one of those books you know how it’ll end up, but it’s about the story of getting there. For these two, it was rocky and a ton happened, on the way to the conclusion.
The main male character is really hot, doesn’t do relationships, enjoys work and sleeping around. The main female character is a bit more like the girl next door, until he gets a good look at her and those curves. Then when she puts herself together, watch out. She springs on him a massive surprise, that leaves him reeling, in disbelief. She is very smart, works full time and is going for her masters degree. She has a lot going on and has suffered a big loss. He wants her help all the time.
I can’t say more, but it’s a good book, I enjoyed it. I was on the fence between a 4 or 5 star review, but although it was really good, I have read better. Definitely worth the read though.
Trevor gets a major surprise when a woman walks into his office and says she is leaving his son with him. The fact that he didn’t even know he had a son just about causes him to have a heart attack. Who is this woman? What is she doing with the baby named Devon? Turns out her best friend spent a weekend with Trevor and Devon was the result. A little boy. A stunned father. A beautiful curly-haired woman. Boy oh boy was this a good story. I loved it from start to finish. Stacy Eaton is now one of my favourite authors. Highly recommended read.
Trevor enjoys his job training and traveling oversees. He does not see a family in his future until it shows up at his office. Davina lost her best friend and blames Trevor. She is completely against liking him in any way. A cute read with Trevor trying to figure out this new addition he never expected.
