Author Note: This is book 2 of a 6 book murder mystery series. The books cannot standalone, so please be warned that you’d need to read all 6 to get the full story. Each book will release the last Thurs of the month! The town in the story is fictional, so the coordinates on the cover do NOT correlate to the murder locations. Hope you love the story.

Things are happening in Summer Grove and Suede Harris is sure that they are all connected. Young women are being murdered and after Kara’s body was found dead in the lake, Suede’s friend Graham may be flung into prison for her murder. But Suede is sum is innocent – she knows him! So Suede wants to see how Special Agent Nate Hawthorn investigates as she feels that he could solve the case and stop the killer from taking more young women’s lives. Could Suede also be in the sights of the killer? This is book 2 out of 6 in the series by WL Knightly [aka Ali Parker and Lexy Timms who are fabulous at collaborating on composing their deadly mysteries.] So very well written and you do need to read each book so that you can solve the investigation if any of the other series are to go by. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most definitely recommended.
Just as engaging as the first book, with plenty of secrets that are still coming to light but obviously no identity to the killer yet, nor has a motive been revealed. I like the multiple POVs, luckily it’s easy to keep track of whose viewpoint we’re reading so it doesn’t feel overwhelming or confusing.
Picking up where book 1 left off, the clues continue, the mystery deepens and everyone looks guilty. This is a continuing series so you’ll have to start with book one and this ends on a cliffhanger but it’s such a good story, you won’t mind. This duo really hits it out of the park. Small town/big secrets. Anyone could be guilty and everyone seems to be. Love it! (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
The number of questions to clues in this intriguing series is just above the body count!
An intricate web of past, present, small-town evils, who dun it or should I say who will be next.. all with a smattering of sexual tension thrown in to add extra spice!
I am curious to see how this unravels, but the authors have thrown me off before!
I cannot wait for the next book!
This thrilling read will have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what will happen next. This is the second book in the Time Capsule Killer series and starts right where Tracking the Treasures left off. This has mystery, suspense, secrets and so much more. The storyline and characters were well written and the details are so well thought out. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
A great continuation to this series. With the people in the study group looking guilty as they all have secrets. The FBI takes over but as they try to find out what’s going on in this small sleepy town there seems to be secrets everyone has and wants them kept that way. As you read you think you know what’s happening it isn’t but the author has you pulling your hair out in frustration! Can’t wait for the next book to see where it goes next! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This series has captured my attention in book one and keeps it through book 2.
The group is trying to deal with Kara’s death and trying to solve the who dunit for not just her but the other girls they found.
There are just enough twist and turns that when you think you know who it may be, another piece of the puzzle pushes you toward a new character.
I must say I’m trying to figure out what Riley is doing, as he runs hot and cold. What about Nate? Ted? Way to many unanswered questions.
I’m waiting, not so patiently for the next book.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review
Huh?! This series is leaving me speechless in the very best of ways. I have my own pet theories about what’s going on in this sleepy little town, and so far none of them have been disproven. But just as the gods laugh at mortals who plan, authors laugh at readers who “have a theory”. I genuinely expect to be proven completely wrong by the end, but I’m dying to find out one way or another. I’ve only just finished this book and already I need the next one. I NEED to know the answers.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Love this series so much. It has been keeping me on my toes from the beginning. The twists and turns are outstanding. And the writing is impeccable as always.
More and more complex
The investigation is still exciting, but some changes are taking place in the links between the characters, including the complex relationship between Nate, the FBI agent and Suede.
The plot is complicated because with each discovery of clues, the investigation seems to sink, and what seemed clear becomes blurred.
Spoiler book 1
The elements of the investigation now led by the FBI agent, Nate, become difficult to obtain but Suede does not give up. Ted begins to act differently with Riley, allowing him to protect Suede after the discovery of the body of Kara, the daughter of the mayor’s mistress. In addition, the fact that Riley’s mother’s body has not been found for years still haunts her. Her father-in-law hides things from her and becomes paranoid.
FBI agent questions all of those in the study group, and Jenn trusts no longer Graham since she learned he had been Kara’s lover, in their common trouble past .
In short, the links that seemed established between the characters are completely changed without people who know who to believe.

Be prepared for a bumpy ride
Suede, a criminology student with tragic past, is still reeling from the tragic events she has encountered since this summer study group has started. As the story progresses there are even more questions than answers, shadows are cast over everyone, and learning the truth just might get a person killed. W.L. Knightly’s latest addition to The Capsule Killer series starts out immediately after the events in Tracking the Treasure. With a varied cast and additional mysteries, the undoubtedly twisted journey that the reader will be taken on gets bumpier. I am holding on to my seat for the rest of the ride.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This is book 2 of the series. It continues where the first left off. Geocaching is how the clues are found to get to the bodies. Agent Nate Hawthorn of the FBI, is taking over the lead in the investigation. It is beginning to look like a serial killer is on the loose. The series makes you want to read the next episode.
The series continues strong with this second book. Suede starts to shadow FBI agent and together they are finding new evidence that leads to even more questions and buried secrets to discover.
This series just gets better with each book! The constant twists and turns kept me reading WAY past my bedtime..lol! I am starting to add up some clues and have my suspicions about who is committing these murders in Summer Grove, but I’m probably off base. I can’t wait for book 3 to find out if I am right or heading down the wrong path.

What a series so far. This is book 2 and is even better than the first one. You have a small, sleepy town that now has several murders that are unsolved. So many suspects but nobody has been charged as of yet. I have a theory or two but I may be wrong with the way the clues are panning out. You get adventure, excitement and so much more within this series. Enjoy.
The series continues strong with this second book. Suede starts to shadow FBI agent and together they are finding new evidence that leads to even more questions and buried secrets to discover.
Constant twists and turns will definitely keep your attention. There are couple of clues in this one that made me start to work on theories about what’s happening in Summer Grove but there’s still a long way to go. Can’t wait to read the next part!

I’m really enjoying reading this series and how this duo manage to include just the right amount of twists and turns to keep me guessing. It seems there is so much more than caches to unearth, many secrets to be revealed and rumours of corruption to be proven. Let’s not forget we have to discover “the devil who resides in Summer Grove” An overbearing drunken stepfather, a study group under the magnifying glass, an unwelcome sexy FBI agent and a questionable mayor. I’ve become so invested that I’m keeping my own notes on what I think are hidden clues. Looking forward to reading the next instalment.
