One hot architect. One naughty schoolteacher. One crazy night that changes everything.Meet Lauren Halsted. It’s all the little things–the action plans, the long-kept promises–that started falling apart when my life slipped into controlled chaos. After I fell ass-over-elbow into Matthew Walsh’s arms. Meet Matthew Walsh. A rebellious streak ran through Lauren Halsted. It was fierce and … Lauren Halsted. It was fierce and unrelentingly beautiful, and woven through too many good girl layers to count, and she wasn’t letting anyone tell her what to do.
Unless, of course, she was naked.

I’m not sure how this receives anything more than a 2.
Sensitive H, not manly at all. A tough bitchy self centered h. And more irrelevant details than necessary. I stopped reading more than once to read something else, but finally finished it
Too many inane details about H jobs. Not to mention far fetched. Ms. Canterbary should …
I LOVED this book! My first by this author and you can be sure I’ll be reading more. Wonderful, multi-dimensional and flawed characters who you get to know, warts and all. I loved the wit and humor and the fact that I could actually keep all those Walsh siblings straight and “see” them in my mind speaks to how well this author draws you into …
Underneath It All had been on my TBR for ages before I finally decided to pick it up. One of my blogger friends had recently binged The Walshes series and kept talking about how much she loved them, so that gave me a kick in the seat. Also, I realized it was part of the Audible Romance Package, so it was a no-brainer.
I enjoyed this book so much! …
I’ve never read from Kate Canterbary before……and I’ve heard so many good things about this series. And book 1 definitely did not disappoint. It was fun, flirty, sexy…..all wrapped up with some interesting family dynamics (for both main character). Matt and Lauren really had some incredible chemistry between the sheets, yet they had a hard …
The entire Walsh series by Kate is wonderful. These are ‘can’t put them down’ ‘gotta read them all ‘books. The characters are wonderful. I want to be part of the Walsh family!!!
I hated Lauren through 98% of the book. Hated the way she treated Matthew. Hated hated it. But the heart wants what it wants. I would love a Mathew in my life. Steamy bedroom scenes. Loved the ending. The ending redeemed the story.
I absolutely loved this book. I fell in love with the Walsh family. Matthew’s story is still my favorite. The writing is great and the story is fantastic. Get this book. Read it. Fall in love with it. Read all the others in the series. Recover from the devastation of having no more books to read.
Beginning of a fantastic series by Kate Canterbury.
A good read!
5 Stars
Exceptional writing, touching every emotion. I laughed out loud, needed a cold shower after the steamy scenes, became angry when either Lauren or Matthew were acting an ass and even cried. In all I loved this story, the pace, the characters witty dialog in and out of bed. My first Kate Canterbary novel and will not be my last…just bought …
Love the series
Love these characters! Great interactions! Start of a great series!
A strong story line. Kept you on your toes. Great story
Listened in Audible
Filthy but fun.
Love Kate Canterbary’s books!! Read them all!!
Good romance – funny, sassy and a little steamy. The best thing about this book – no MMA fighters, no billionaires, no cupcake bakers, no MC gang members and no rockers. Just two hard working people falling in lust then love. HEA. Will read more in this series.
Very boring! I wasn’t particularly interested in the architectural details. The Angus character served no purpose. Their response to his abuse was so passive and irritating. The whole relationship between the main characters was very annoying. Lauren was plain rude with no real explanation for her behavior. If the situation was reversed with …
This is my favorite Walsh Family series book. Kate Canterbary stuns this reader with the originality and engrossing storytelling that had me reading chapter after chapter with the inability to put it down until ‘The End’.
I will apologize in advance for the redundancy of the reviews of the series. That paragraph above will be repeated with each …
Underneath it All (Walsh Series Book 1)
Kate Canterbary
This book is probably my favorite of the Walsh series so far. I loved the humor that rolls off the pages while Matt and Lauren struggle to find their way. It was supposed to be a one night stand. It ends up being so much more. Their journey to get there is hot, hilarious, sexy, and …
