This is the second and final book in this series. It be as a good and exciting end to an imaginative atypical story. I enjoyed the fact that this book explored such an uncommon plot/setting/characters.
Oh that ending! I loved Underlord so much that I can’t even be upset! Lol. Kira’s final undertaking kept me on the edge of my seat.
This was a great follow-up to where we left in Underland. Chanda does a great job fleshing out her characters, and even though we saw a lot of growth in Kira in the first book, Kira continues to surprise and show us new elements to who she is. We also uncover secrets about Zeke and are introduced to a new character Allyn. While I did wish there was a different ending, the story itself was exciting.
I love Chanda’s writing. Her stories never end the way I think they will which is great I liked to be surprised. I enjoyed this story and seeing how it all ends. I do wish there was going to be a third book because I really liked the characters especially Zeke (I am team Zeke) I don’t want to give any spoilers away so if you enjoyed the first one definitely pick this one up too.
Ok, I get it…lots of people wanted the story to end differently. BUT it was a great read and worth the time spent reading it. Chanda’s character and story development is spectacular and I can see why she wrote the ending as she did. I loved this series and recommend it!
Well that was an interesting read. I really enjoyed this series way more than I had expected. There were many moments where I wasn’t sure where Chanda was going to take this story. She did an excellent job tying up the story and answering so many questions that were left unanswered from book 1. I won’t share any spoilers, but there were a few things that were revealed that left me stunned. I love that it wasn’t so obvious while reading. I found this book to be fast paced, a page-turner with great world building.
Another stellar book from author Chanda Hahn, I am infatuated with the world’s she continues to create.
Ok, so I almost gave it 4 stars just because there needs to be another book after this…but I couldn’t do it, it’s too good. This is one of my favorite of Chanda Hahn’s series. This a completely original series vs. a fairytale spinoff, so it felt very fresh. Kira becomes stronger and more resourceful, and who will she choose Zeke or Allyn? Can she make it through the Labyrinth, save Underland, and make it back home? This book left me wanting to read more about these characters. This book is fast paced and fun to read. I hope you enjoy reading this series!
Poor Kira, thinking it was over but it wasn’t! She shows what she is made of in the labyrinth. I like how Chanda twists the book and makes you unsure of what will happen next. She makes characters relatable and you feel like you are there, watching everything as it unfolds.
’ve been patiently waiting to see if this series would be available on audio but alas it wasn’t. So I finally read this highly Anticipated series. It was a bit slow paced for me at the beginning but it picked up towards the middle and I found myself enjoying this series. I recommend.
I had been waiting excitedly for this book and it delivered! I’m excited I got to read the ending already! The way she wrapped up things was a little different than usual but I loved how the reader got to decide how they wanted it to end a bit. Thank you Chanda for another great book series!
Perfection.
Just finished it after anxiously awaiting the mid night release and I can’t stop smiling like a fool! It was awesome and a perfect conclusion! My heart is soaring and no spoilers here. Just read it if you loved Underland! You have too.
I loved this book and it’s ending. I felt like it was satisfying the way it ended and I loved seeing how the interactions worked above ground.
I love a good maze runner kind of story. I was ready for this book. We finally get to see what Kira is all about. The love triangle was a bit tiring but things happen. Allyn knowing what is going to happen in the future makes you understand more of the choices made. To me anyway. I felt this book was a bit rushed. It might be that I wasn’t ready for it to end. I think that I might go back and read these together because it was a bit of a space between them. Good books though. Worth reading again.
