I just had a very thrilling visit with a daring and courageous Navy SEAL and a brave young woman in Paige Tyler’s newest SEALs of Coronado book.
Undercover SEAL is the fourth book in the series and the plot takes a couple of the SEALs on a mission that is a little out of their depths, or maybe puts those SEALs into a ‘fish out of water’ position that could end in their deaths if they don’t get it right. This fast paced and exciting story kept me glued to the pages with lots of action, suspense and a few surprises along the way which also kept me wondering what would happen next. Lots of excitement to be found but the fact that Nash is working undercover adds an intense expectation feel to the life or death situation that they find themselves in.
The characters are strong, captivating and easily held me hostage until the very end as I got to know them more and I found that the relationship growing between to be full of sizzling chemistry and of course since this should have been an attraction that both fought tooth and nail but couldn’t deny adds even more spice to the story and let me just say that Bristol had a few surprises for me as well.
Paige Tyler always makes all her worlds are well developed and so lifelike that I easily slip right into the thrilling stories and easily connect with her captivating characters. Undercover SEAL was a thrilling read and I can’t wait to go on another mission with the SEALs of Coronado.
Working with the CIA wasn’t quite what Nick expected when he became a SEAL but here he was in Mexico, establishing himself as a buyer with Luiz Munez, a major player in the Armador Cartel.
His first surprise is at dinner with the man. Luiz was practically offering his daughter, Bristol to Nick. Bristol hadn’t said anything about the way she was being treated at least not until Luiz mentioned her mother.
Bristol does have an ulterior motive for getting close to Nick. She wants to get away from her father, permanently and Nick just might be her way out. One thing Bristol didn’t count on was falling in love with the man. It certainly wasn’t in Nick’s plans either. The heat between these two works its way off the charts in a slow steady way.
Bristol makes a critical choice when Nick’s cover is blown, one that changes everything.
Fast paced, with plenty of drama and action. Not a book you will be able to put down.
Suspenseful romantic mystery thriller
Nash is working undercover and the drug lords daughter is less than nothing to him.
I loved this book, great characters, terrific plot
I was given this book in a free giveaway and I voluntarily leave this review
This is great suspense with romance. This book is fast paced and action packed. It had me from page one. There is plenty of spice and romance, a little humor, as well as drama and suspense. The characters are captivating, and had my interest from the start. There is evil, and danger thru out that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend.
YA WHOOOOO
As to be expected the fourth installment of the Seals of Coronado series is fantastic. I found Nash and Bristol’s story to be a fast-paced adventure that I couldn’t put down. This book is full of romance, humor, adventure, and plot twists. Fingers crossed for a fifth book!
Awesome story! Can’t wait for the next one!
While I have enjoyed the SEALs of Coronado series, this one did not resonate with me like the others. Maybe too predictable? Both MC and the supporting characters were enjoyable however, this one seems rushed. Perhaps Nash comes across as more of a known quantity because he’s certainly similar to the other SEAL characters but Bristol came off a little too weak…not wanting to give anything away here, but given her circumstances, she seems to be too trusting of Nash too soon.
If you want a quick summer afternoon read where the damsel in distress gets saved by the hero with some drama thrown in – read this!
After reading the preceding books in this series, I held out hope that Paige Tyler would return to Coronado and write more stories about these wonderful SEALs; guess I finally got my wish!
As with the previous stories, Undercover SEAL is jam-packed with action, danger, intrigue and romance. A well-written story of an unimaginable evil, this is definitely one not to be missed. I loved Nash and Bristel’s characters and the easy banter between Nash and his buddy Dalton, was hugely entertaining.
Thank you Ms Tyler for another fabulous story that I easily devoured in one sitting.
Nash was a SEAL not an undercover agent but he finds himself in just that situation. Once the operation begins, he and his teammate are determined to get the job done and get out as quickly as possible. Nash is in this situation because of the CIA but finds that they are not as helpful as he would like.
Bristol hates her father and the fact that she is basically a prisoner in her own home. When Nash shows up, Bristol finds herself attracted to him despite the fact that she believes he’s a criminal her father wants her to be nice to him. But can she trust him to help her get away?
Nash finished a routine mission–routine meaning nothing went like it was supposed to–expecting to return home with his team. Instead, he lands in Mexico with one of his team and no other information about a new mission with the CIA. If the reason wasn’t so dangerous to the world, in general, these SEALs would not take part.
Bristol is the daughter of a Cartel Drug Lord. She’s a prisoner, a pawn, to be used to further his position. When she is asked to “be nice” to the man Nash is pretending to be, a war of interest and mistrust begins.
The lack of information adds to the danger. Nash and Bristol have to decide if they can trust their feelings and work together to save her and the mission. The father’s men are brutal and the US people are far outnumbered. Trust among the US agencies is not much better than their trust of the drug Lord’s people.
The characters are noble, strong, with a sense of humor, and loyalty unmatched. The bad guys are really bad with no redeeming features. The danger and steam keep our couple on their toes with little opportunity to act on their feelings.
I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.
