A scrooge-hearted billionaire and the nanny of his daughter clash over the idea of a traditional Christmas. But when the magic of mistletoe is involved? Anything is possible…James Nichols spends his days in Bennett Creek, Wisconsin closing million-dollar business deals and providing for his six-year-old daughter, Molly. He’s confident he has life figured out. But only for the most part. Because … for the most part. Because when it comes to Christmas, he avoids the small-town hubbub of the holiday at all costs. There’s just one little problem. The nanny he hired? She has visions of sugar plums and sleigh bells dancin’ in her head…
Ada Kennon adores Christmas— ice skating on the pond, decorating gingerbread, swooning over old-timey carols. But when she starts to share her fondness of the holiday with Molly by way of concocting a countdown to Christmas Day, her uptight boss immediately interferes.
As James and Ada dispute the reason for the season, sparks fly and hearts ignite. Turns out they may have more in common than they thought. But as Christmas Eve draws near, a business decision looms, throwing James into a tailspin of Christmas chaos. Will James allow his grinchful heart to rule his home? Or will he open up to Ada and fully embrace the true beauty of the Christmas season?

I have to start by saying that I loved little Molly and her relationship with Ada.
James Nichols doesn’t like Christmas celebrations very much and, as a result, his daughter Molly isn’t very knowledgeable about it either. But when nanny Ada Kennon, who is in love with everything related to Christmas, begins to come up with ideas for Molly on how to celebrate the date, James doesn’t like it very much.
But over time, James realizes that Ada just wants to show Molly the true spirit of Christmas. At the same time, feelings begin to arise between James and Ada and they need to be discreet so that Molly doesn’t notice.
This is an interesting story with lovely characters. I recommend the reading.
This was a fantastic new clean Holiday romance from Emma Sutton. James is a single father with a cynical view of all things Christmas following his ex-wife’s abandonment. Ada is a young woman who loved all things Christmas and misses her family. As Ada and James spend more time together attraction quickly turns these two friends into something neither expected. Under the Mistletoe Billionaire is a heartwarming story about family traditions, spending time with loved ones, and finding one of the meanings of Christmas. Filled with heartache, friendship, family time, and love this is one Holiday story readers will fall in love and won’t to put it down.

This is the second book in the Christmas Billionaries of Bennett Creek. They were both sweet romance stories that take place in a small town in Wisconsin, but of the two, I preferred this one. The discription of the book was well done and does not need to be repeated so I will just add my thoughts. Emma Sutton does a good job of painting small town America with her quirky characters and small town traditions. The heroine, Ada, is very likeable and has a great relationship with the hero’s (James) daughter. Molly is just as cute as she can be and adds a lot of sweetness to the story. *Spoiler – Ada and Molly make a Christmas paper chain that so many of us made as kids, but Sutton added something different to it that I want to try with my own family! I also loved the “llama kisses”! The realistic relationship between the three main characters added so much to the story that it made it even more enjoyable to read. There were a few words that looked like “auto-correct” corrected when it should not have and a slight time-line flaw that should have been caught, but other than that, the story was well written. To me, this was a feel good story – one that I wanted to keep reading because I enjoyed the characters so much. I wanted them to have their HEA. And even though I knew that they would, I wanted to keep reading about this “family that should be” until they got their HEA. Sutton made me want to read her story – a sign of a good story and a good author! A definite read!
I love clean romances, especially at Christmas.
This author has done a great job with this story.
The characters are so endearing and loveable.
The plot keeps you reading till the end to find out what happens next.
This is a must-read Christmas romance.
clean romantic Christmas time story involving a Scrooge-like single dad, his six year old daughter and her nanny. Lots of drama Christmas magic will keep you entertained until these delightful characters reach their HEA
The perfect holiday romance story. Heartwarming, engaging characters, a wonderful story line, and romance during the holiday season.

James was a grinch about Christmas. He didn’t want anything to do with it even though his six year old daughter Molly and her nanny Ada loved it. He realizes he’s a jerk about it to them and his employees and has a sudden change of heart early in the book. Molly had come up with a chain link of activities to participate in leading up to Christmas and working through those causes him to appreciate the magic of Christmas. But thoughts of potential lost clients over his inattentiveness during the holidays causes him to question his change of heart. I was surprised that Molly wasn’t in school from after Thanksgiving to Christmas break. She should be in Kindergarten at least by this age especially since she could read already unless she was home schooled, but there was no mention of that.
Christmas is a magical time. When Ada tries to incorporate her love of the holidays with the little girl she nannys for, she is told to let it be. James is an old Scrooge during the holidays ever since his ex left and tosses everything the girls did in the trash when he sees how Molly reacts to Xmas. Ada is set to change his mind but did not expect to fall in love with the boss and his sweet daughter. Though it took James time to open up to the idea, I think Xmas will be his favorite holiday.

Under the Mistletoe Billionaire Emma Stone
Christmas is a time where love and joy is in the air. Not for James, however. James has a lovely 6-year-old daughter named Molly. Her mother left James around this time of year several years ago which is why James is no fan of Christmas. Ada, Molly’s nanny, LOVES Christmas, and she tries to get Molly into the Christmas spirit. James doesn’t like Ada’s attempts and tells her to leave it alone. Going more into the story, they find things they have in common…Will James let his judgement of Christmas slide? Will he get back into the jolly spirit he once had years ago?

A very sweet Christmas story. James has never celebrated Christmas because of bad memories. Ada loves Christmas and all its traditions. She wants to bring Christmas to the Nicol’s household. It takes a coworker a determined daughter and Ada to bring a change of heart to James. This a really tender story about love and family. It tells a tale of finding true joy in celebration Christmas and love.
Ada and James are a beautiful couple. James is a little grumpy because of the season but his daughter and her nanny help him see the light. Sweet and romantic with kissing throughout. This couple took a chance on love. HEA definitely.

I enjoyed this story of James, his daughter Molly, and their nanny. It’s a good story of learning to love the holiday again although I felt that his turn around was a little quick.
You never know what life has in-store for you. Ada starting working a job as a nanny to care for a six year old little girl named Molly. She never expected to fall in love with her. Her father James was deeply touched at how close Ada and Molly had become over the last six months. Seeing the joy the two of them shared warmed his heart.
As the Christmas season begins Ada starts planning fun activities for Molly and James to do together. However, Ada soon finds out that James doesn’t celebrate Christmas. He asks her not to talk about Christmas anymore. That was the time of year his ex-wife left Molly and James. At work James was called Scrooge by his best friend. This made James take sometime to think about that. He realized that he was wrong. When the three of them started to go out and do fun Christmas activities, they both realized feelings had began to grow.
I love Christmas stories and Under the Mistletoe Billionaire was a wonderful story. James and his daughter, Molly haven’t made a big deal out of Christmas since his ex-wife, Susan, left them several years ago. Ada is Molly’s nanny and she loves all things Christmas. Will she change James’ mind about Christmas or will she resign, after their first disagreement? If you love small town Christmas reads, I recommend picking this book up and giving Emma Sutton a try, if she’s new to you or if you love her books. I can’t wait to see what is next from this author.
