She wants a baby, and I’m just the guy.I didn’t join the medical field because of the women, but it sure as hell has become a perk of the job. Now, a new forbidden lust has sparked my interest, but the odds are stacked against me.She’s taboo. Unreachable. Beautiful and broken. My mentor’s sister is older than me and commands respect when she walks in the room. Nothing like the twenty-year-old … room. Nothing like the twenty-year-old floozies that spread their legs at nothing more than a look.
Divorced and dominant, with more beauty and class than any woman I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
And word on the street is that she left the old guy she was hitched to because she wanted kids.
He didn’t.
Sounds like a job for a real man. Me.
As long as we keep things casual. I ain’t looking for love.
Too bad she thinks I’m a pompous ass. She doesn’t know me at all.
No one does.
Looks like I’ll have to take this fight under the covers.
There you go.

If you are looking for a book that is full of sexual chemistry that could take down a building, then this book is what you are looking for. Dr. Crawford and Dr. Parker are beyond crazy for each other even though neither of them want to admit it, at least not yet. Dr. Crawford has been through a rough marriage with deception and she still works with her ex, he is the chief of staff at the hospital she works at. Dr. Parker is coming to Boston for a month to work with her, he’s a friend of her brothers and will bring a lot good to their facility. He’s known as Dr Feelgood because he is pretty much the hospital slut and his reputation precedes him. When you are afraid to put yourself out there but know deep down this one person is worth opening up for, will you? This book is going to suck you in from the beginning. It will have you smiling, laughing, shaking your head and rooting for that happily ever outcome.
Thoroughly loved this story. Each story is always my favorite. Weston Parker never disappoints. Definitely, a must read.
I enjoyed this story! It’s a touch emotional but well written with some great characters. This is a nicely developed story and intriguing plot. What the characters go through as well as the twists and turns in this story made this a very captivating read.
This was a fantastic romantic comedy with so much heart and emotion. Jacob “Parks” Parker is Dr. Feelgood a confirmed bachelor and ladies man who just wants to have fun until he meets Ashley a beautiful, smart, and talented doctor who happens to be recently divorced and in the market for a child her lying prick of an ex husband never wanted to give her. Attraction burns bright and hot for these two doctors who are discovering new life goals for themselves. Under the Covers was witty, at times comical, heartwarming, and romantic. Weston Parker has created a well written story that will endear readers to Ashley and Jacob A’s they embark on their journey of life and love. A heartwarming story that will captivate readers.
Well written storyline and wonderful characters that have sizzling chemistry. This has betrayal, drama, an off limits romance with an HEA ending and so much more. Dr. Jacob Parker is a bad boy playboy is sent to teach Dr. Aiden Crawford’s sister some surgical techniques. Dr. Ansley Crawford is a Neurosurgeon and is newly divorced. There is friction at work because her ex is her boss at the hospital. I would definitely recommend reading this book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Under the Covers is a touching story about doctors of all types with loads of personality. It’s tightly written with a number of separate storylines woven together seamlessly. Jacob Parks, Dr. Feelgood, is a hot shot neurosurgeon who is brilliant in the operating room as well as the bedroom. Just ask him! His character is as humorous as it is sexy. It’s obvious that he’s not one bit shallow as the story proceeds. Jacob is on loan from New York to Boston in order to instruct and work with other neurosurgeons to update their skills. Parks has a mentor (Aiden) in New York who warns him not to get involved with the chief of neurosurgery. Her name is Ainsley and not only is she his sister, he’s very protective of her. She’s been going through some trying times and Aiden’s concerned that Parks just might make them worse. As they say, what you can’t have, you crave! Theirs is a tug of war relationship. It’s part love and part don’t fall in love, don’t commit. Ainsley is still dealing with her ex-husband who will do just about anything to get her back. He, however, has committed the ultimate betrayal by lying to her regarding family. Parks and Ainsley continue to get closer but then decides she wants to be alone. The story picks up from here and honesty, not hiding, helps it to its almost perfect conclusion. The epilogue solidifies the good feel of the story!
I’ll definitely be reading this one again the next time I’m under the covers.
Ansley, Chief Neurosurgeon at Boston General Hospital, is not looking forward to working with Parks, a visiting Neurosurgeon from St. Marks Hospital, when he transfers for one month to showcase some new techniques and help onboard Residents. As the story progresses
the sparks fly, assumptions are made, and discoveries may come too late for them to have a future together. Weston Parker continues the story from Between the Sheets giving the readers Parks’ chance at romance. The characters realistic and twisting trail that he takes then on is entertaining. I’ll definitely be reading this one again the next time I’m under the covers.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Another fantastic book by Weston.
Really loved this story. Fantastic characters. I so loved Parks and was so happy that he and Ansley got together in the end and had their HEA and that she had her dream wish come true.
Lovely heartwarming and steamy story with plenty of feist and heat.
The story is believable and original. Besides the romance going on, there were underpinnings of sad times that everyone experiences in their life, so there certainly was depth to this story.
I voluntarily received an an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest and unbiased opinion. I have no affiliation to this author.
This book is excellent. Parks is a love ‘em and leave ‘em man whore who falls for his best friend/boss’s sister, Ansley. Aiden sends Parks to Boston General Hospital for a month where he meets head of neurosurgery Ansley. They are both dominant, cocky know-it-all’s in and out of the operating rooms. But once they kiss, sparks fly. This book is like watching a hospital soap opera on TV with the drama, intensity and romance you see on the screen. Parks’ lighthearted humor will have you laughing. Fantastic storyline with excellent storytelling.
Wow another great book, Under The Covers by Weston Parker was a fun and enjoyable read. I absolutely loved the characters they were strong but also showed a bit of vulnerability and it was just so darn hard not to like them. This was a story that kept me hooked with the humor, passion and romance with a touch of healing. The chemistry between Parks and Ansley was one hundred percent steamy. I absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend it, A must read and one you wouldn’t want to miss. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
ONE ENGAGING ADVENTURE!!!
Explosive! One refreshing spin that keeps you on edge and total focus on every word. A spiraling flurry of unexpected mishaps and astonishing events launch those spinning emotions, coiling tightly, bursting to life brilliantly. Drama, adversity, intrigue and suspense engage all of your senses while a horde of twists and turns run rampant. One intense storyline and gripping plot propels this bad boy to life flawlessly. Struggling through all the trials and tribulations along with a few bumps and bruises send this bad boy skyrocketing. The characters are original, relatable and realistic with such depth and individuality it feels as though you can just reach out and touch them. The scenes are graphically detailed and descriptive making it easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Fantastic job Weston, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
An Engaging and Emotional Read.
Under the Covers by Weston Parker has a couple of great themes running thru it…hospital/doctor and older woman/younger man. My heart went out to Dr. Ansley Crawford, Neurosurgeon at Boston General and freshly divorced because her ex lied to her for nine years about wanting kids. He went so far as to go behind her back to have a vasectomy and snuck her birth control pills. Now at thirty-five and divorced she is angry because she continues to work in the same hospital as her ex.
To complicate matters in struts Dr. Parks, aka Dr Feelgood who is proud of screwing as many women as possible. He is friends with Ansley’s brother who is also a top Neurosurgeon and has sent him to Boston General to work with his sister for a couple of months but, must keep his hands off her.
Well naturally they are attracted to each other. Will they act on it? Will she decide to listen to her biological clock and find a sperm donor? Will it be Parks? Well, yes, but a sperm donor doesn’t necessarily mean a father/husband.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure because the author did such a good job engaging me and keeping me reading page after page, becoming emotionally invested with Ansley, feeling her anger and with Parks and his dad. Well done.
I received this ARC from “Bad Boy Update” for my honest review so I’m leaving this for your consideration. Peace.
Parks, real name Jacob Parker but don’t you DARE call him that, is a playboy extraordinary. There is only him and his Dad who is very ill due to alcoholism [but that’s a story you will find out in the book]. Due to family history he has no intention of ever giving even part of his heart to a female. He’s the once and done – love’em and leave them type that females should really avoid but rarely do. He’s devoted himself to become the best neurologist that he can possibly be. His boss, mentor and best friend, Aiden, sends him to Boston General where his newly divorced sister, Ansley, is the top neuro surgeon there to demonstrate new surgical routines and so she is most definitely off limits to Parks. Ansley’s ex husband is still in love with her and wants her back but he did a terrible thing and lied to her for years which she just can’t forgive [and justly so]. Ans is a few years older than Parks and considers him to be an arrogant young man that she wants rid of as soon as possible. When he offers to help her where Nolan didn’t what will she answer? This is a 5 STAR book by the fabulous author, Weston Parker, whose storylines just keep Surpassing themselves. I really loved Parks as when you delved under the surface he was a really sweet man with compassion but was hurting. Ans came into his life just when they needed each other. This is so beautifully written with characters that just leap off the page as they are so believable. I really think Nolan is my least favourite character as he did the unforgivable. I’m hoping that we get to read Ans’and Aidens’ other sister’s story! A perfect ending to this story. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended
UNDER THE COVERS BY Weston Parker
This medical drama has crazy hot chemistry, wonderful well developed characters, and a strong solid story line. He brings us two neurosurgeons Parks and Ansley, a regretful, deceptive betraying ex-husband who happens to be the Chief of Staff, great family dynamics within Ansley, her sister and brother who is Parks’ mentor and much more. This is another great story by Weston Parker. It’s a definite 5 star read.
This book was simply amazing and wonderful that I was glued from beginning to end. It kept always thinking what might happen next and if what we thought would actually happen. This is a must read and I highly recommend this book. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy
Loved this romance! One Dr/resident trying to move past her divorce…to her superior…one hot Dr whose mentor’s sister is his newest resident and you get chemistry explosion! Great drama, lust. passion all leading up to a love they can’t resist!
nsley and Parks appear at first glance to be total opposites that would never blend. They argue and generally aggravate each other, but there is definitely chemistry brewing. When Parks joins the staff for a short time, he was advised to stay away from Ansley (his mentor’s sister), but he can’t help the feelings he’s getting for her. Will these two be able to find a way to be together or will Parks return home and never know what might have been? This is a wonderfully written book with great character development and growth and ultimately a HEA that is beautiful! I received an advanced readers copy of this book and highly recommend it.
What an emotional read that will grasp your attention at the beginning and have you page turning from then. Quite a read. This book is well written with well-defined characters and a strong storyline. Two doctors, both with wounded hearts are thrown together when Parks is sent to train them in a special procedure. Ansley’s brother is Park’s mentor and he has warned him to stay away from his sister. They are like oil and water at first but the underlying attraction and chemistry is apparent. Lots of family drama, betrayal, and suspense. This is a book that’s hard to put down once you begin. Strong characters with lots of depth and emotion. A great read. I received an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.
