I loved this book a lot. I read it in a day. I got sucked right into Ari’s life and her family. I love this quirky family so much. They make you laugh with their antics, but you can feel the love this family has. Ari struggles with her family, but with her twin missing she returns home. It’s really eye opening for her. I loved Quinn and …
This is an interesting story, I read book 2 a long time ago but after reading Ariana’s story the other one makes a lot of sense. I like reading books in order so it was refreshing to read book 2 right after reading this one. This book is really interesting, intriguing, suspenseful and romantic. I love the characters and their chemistry. I love …
Under the Boardwalk by Carly Phillips is the first book in the Costa sisters duet and features a missing, presumed dead twin, an undercover detective operation and a crazy Greek family of con artists. I loved the sound this book the minute I read the blurb but didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. However there was a lot of things I did …
When Ariana finds out her twin sister is missing she takes a leave of absence from her Professorship in Vermont to return to Hope City. Her family is a bit wacky and part of that is normal for them the rest was to keep from breaking down over their missing daughter and niece Zoe.
Needing a break Ari takes a walk to the beach with memories …
In book one of the Costas Sisters series, Ariana “Ari” Costas returns home from Vermont to her loud, boisterous, overwhelming Greek family in New Jersey when she finds out her twin sister, Zoe, is missing. Ari ran away from her family five years ago when their cons got to be too much for her. She has a much quieter life as a college professor in …
I enjoyed this book and thought it had a unique and interesting story line. The characters were fun and there was definitely a lot going on to keep me guessing what was going to happen next. I am excited to get my hands on Zoe’s story next.

4 Just As Good As I Remember It Being Stars!!!
I’ve been reading Carly Phillips for more years than I can remember and with each book I read I’m reminded why I’ve been a lover of all her words for so many years.
I read this book when it was first released and I fell in love with Ari and Quinn because they’re polar opposites. Quinn is a man with …
Ariana Costas has always thought her family was over the top, especially her twin sister Zoe so it was no surprise that Ari left New Jersey and headed to Vermont to be a college professor. When Zoe goes missing, Ari comes back home to try and find her sister and make peace with the way they left things.
What Ari didn’t expect to find was danger, …
Quinn and Ari are sexy together and explosive and the story has humor, passion, danger, and mystery thrown in that makes it a perfect combination. I couldn’t put it down.
The first of a duet of stories about the Costa sisters.
Ari moved away from her crazy family to have what she thought was a more normal life.
Quinn was working under cover and was almost at the end when she comes crashing into his life.
Lots of back and forth between the two. Loved the family.
I loved this first book in this series by one of my fav authors and her books never disappoint. I laughed out loud a couple of times about the Costa family. Great new book with romance, suspense, heart tugs and out of the blue laughter.
I’m not sure why I’m so supervised that I loved this story so much. I mean I have yet to find Carly Phillips’s book I didn’t like.
I loved the story line and the way they fell in love with each other. I could put myself in Ari’s shoes with the way she wanted to separated herself from her family.
Because let’s be hones they were a bit too much at …
Under the Boardwalk, book one in the Costas Sister series, is a reissue of earlier stories written by Carly Phillips; it is an enjoyable read and one of the first books of hers that I read. This story has a humorous bend with a bit of intrigue and suspense; not quite the 2020, hot and sizzling books she writes.
Learning that her twin sister was …

This is rerelease and I was lucky to be given a copy to review on behalf of the author.
This was a lot of fun. The characters were a little wild at times, and let me say there is an animal in here which I’m terrified of so that kind of which kind of took me out of the story at times. But there was a lot of antics which I liked and wacky …
Ariana has finally come to Jersey from Vermont, where she’s been distancing herself form her kooky family. But her twin’s missing, and she wants answers. If that means coming home and having to face her demons, face herself, so be it. She didn’t know she’d literally run into someone who’d understand her feelings of not belonging within her own …
A great summer romance read, Carly Phillips does it so well.
An undercover cop, a woman looking for answers on her missing twin, a crazy family, all make for an entertaining read.
The Costa family isn’t the normal family, they do things a little different and not always on the up and up. Ariana Costa decided at a young age when she could she was …
4.5 Stars for Under the Boardwalk (Costas Sisters #1)
When I heard we were getting a new series from Ms Phillips I got very excited and Under the Boardwalk is the perfect start, this is a very different type of read to what I expect from this author but it was an enjoyable and captivating read. This book ticked all my boxes, it’s got the perfect …
Ari returns home after distancing herself from her eccentric family after she learns her sister is either dead or missing. She knows in her heart that her twin, Zoe, is still alive and she needs to find out what happened to her. Quinn is shocked when he sees Zoe’s twin on the beach and even more surprised to have to rescue her from a shooter. Now …
This is a reissue of an original 2004 print. Arianna and Zoe are twins from a big Greek family. Her family embarasses her so she moves away to go to college and is currently a psychology professor. Her twins Zoe, an undercover cop, is currently missing and Adrianna is going to find her. She is found by Zoe’s partner Donovan, who doesn’t tell Ari …
This is a rerelease, first published in 2004. I didn’t read the original but it seems there have been a few tweaks. When reading reviews and making your decision on this book, be sure to look at the date of the review because some of the issues from the original publication may have been addressed.
It’s no question I’m a Carly fan, but this is …
