Before reading this I read the prequel and was glad that I did as it gives you the beginning of the story. A very exciting and dark tale with really complex characters both the main characters are strong which is good concerning the story theme. A great start and I look forward to reading the next thrilling installment. A great start.

This outstanding book had great character and plot development that kept me in total awe as I turned each and every page until the very end!
Noah and Natalie’s story is a dark and twisted one and held my attention from start to finish. As always Clarissa Wild did not disappoint with this intense, suspenseful read filled with unexpected twists and an ending that left me wanting more. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
What an amazing story and what a world to be thrown into as a reader. This book world was so easy to fall into and become one with Natalie who finds herself ensnared into Noah’s world needing to know answers. I absolutely devoured every page and the whole roller coaster I was taken on during this read. As a reader, I cannot recommend this one enough!
This is hands down one of Clarissa Wild’s best books ever.
This is not a simple romance.
Talks about losses, encounters, submission, regrets, passion; expiation, and sex, a lot of sex.
Natalie always wanted to find out about her past.
One day, she read an article about a cult that was passing through the city gathering new members. And one of the men had on his hand a tattoo of a symbol that Natalia knew well. It was the same design she had on a scarf, the one that wrapped her up as a baby.
Looking for answers, she goes to that meeting.
The place that seemed most secret, had the presence of more than a hundred people, but as if by magic, she attracted the attention of the man with the tattoo and was chosen.
This choice was a little forced.
She went to a cell, left naked, practically abandoned.
There, she would begin to be broken to submit to whatever was imposed on her.
She had no answers, but she was already suffering far beyond her understanding.
Noah was the man Natalie wanted.
He had answers beyond what she needed to know, but as one of the leaders, he needed to maintain his impeccable position, or he would lose the respect of others.
Natalia drew his attention in addition to being a simple subject. She was chosen to be the one who would bear children.
It was a polygamous cult.
Detention and sex scenes are strong and can trigger sensitive people.
Cliffhanger.
